The led flashlight on my phone does not seem to work at all (neither in camera mode or the new flashlight app in android 2.2). The flash definitely worked when I originally got the phone but now does nothing.

Jul 29, 2010I received the 2 network extenders I ordered today, hooked them up, waited for the gps to find itself, and then nothing. Talked with tech support and they said you needed at least 300kb up & down (my dsl was 810 down & 216 up). So I talked to my isp, and for $10 raised my speeds to around 1400kb down and 760kb up. I cycled power to the network extender and still no go!
Spent and hour with VZW tech support and found that a family member's Moto W385 (Moto feature flip phone) could connect just fine, but not my Incredible. Tried it with the second network extender and same results. The tech issued me a trouble ticket and tey will get back to me. He closed the call saying there was probably something wrong with my Incredible.
My questions are does anyone have both an Incredible and a network extender? Do yours work or did you have similar issues? If so how were they, or were they resolved?

Aug 1, 2010Can anyone recommend a good flashlight app that uses the camera flash LEDs that works with the Incredible?I miss that functionality. Had it with my Nokia 5800.I've searched here without much success. Most of the apps I've seen discussed are for other Android phone models.

Jun 30, 2010Has anyone had any issues leaving the LEDs on (using Lampu) as far as heat from the phone? I can assume there was a reason that HTC didnt allow the LEDs to be on for video recording. Not sure if its just current draw or possible heat/damage to the driver circuit for the LEDs.

Apr 23, 2010Just have a new htc desire on orange.I can't believe it doesn't even have the option to use the LED light when using the videocam.This is such a great feature when you are out in a bar, pub, or club or just outside at night. I have an old sony and nokia and they both have the feature and I have loads of great vids because of it.I have spent hours searching for apps that might make the LED light next to the camera work but there doesn't seem to be one. This means if you are using the phone as a light you have to use the screen like a numpty and not the powerful led. Should have gone for the xperia as my friend has it and it has this feature.

Aug 9, 2010I update my Desire to 2.2 last week and was excited to try out 720p video recording. I slid out the panel on the screen and chose video, it switches to video but then the camera app just quits and I can't use the video camera. This happens every time I switch to video and I've tried turning my phone off and on again many times and it hasn't fixed the issue. I've searched on line and no one seems to be having this issue. Pressing on the video does not do anything. Resolved with the onclick handler on the video tag. Is it possible to use html5 video in the android 2.1 browser at this time? My demo page is working for both the iphone and the ipad.
