General :: Hiding Clock In Smali File For Tablet?
Feb 17, 2012hiding clock in my smali file for my tablet. its gb 2.3.4 but has no systemui.apk i believe it have the right info from services.jar but i have no clue how to hide it. all the stuff i find is for different coding.

Apr 30, 2010I just switched to the Incredible from BlackJack on AT&T. On the BJ there was a function that would allow me to toggle between hiding my phone # or having it displayed on calls to people w/ caller ID. It would read the setting from AT&T network and allow me to change it directly on my phone.
I prefer to not display my number when I make calls. However, about 20% of my calls are to fed/state/local gov buildings. In many of those cases they do not accept calls from numbers that won't display on caller ID. In those cases, I would just switch the setting.
I can't find anything on this type of capability in the Incredible documentation. According to VZ support, this can be done but only by calling support each time.
HTC Incredible :: ATK - Alarm Clock Not Go Off
Jul 30, 2010Ever since I updated my advanced task killer my alarm clock does not go off in the morning. It is checked off and on but perhaps the ATK keeps it from going off?

However, the clock that shows up on the locked screen is correct. The widget is also my alarm clock and since is does not update, it does not work. It was working fine for the first 2 weeks. Being very new to smart phones, I am sure I changed something or downloaded an app that messes with the updating...

May 11, 2010The HTC clock that has the weather foreacast on it is not updating, or rather, not holding the setting when I say YES to automatic update
I go into Menu>Setting>Update automatically, click on the box, then get the Data warning "this may result in additional charges from your wireless provider. Enable automatic download of weather data"
Click on YES
then I back out, and go back in to the setting, and the box is UNCHECKED again.
It's not holding the update yes setting.
HTC Incredible :: Most Reliable Alarm Clock App?
Jun 18, 2010I'm not liking the alarm clock built into the Dinc. I hate all the alarm sounds and there does not appear to be a way to add different ones or even an MP3. What I'm really looking for is an alarm that will start off softly and build up say over 30 seconds. All the stock alarms just BLAST and freaks me and my wife out each morning. A snooze button is a must as I like to hit it a few times before I need to get up. I also need one that is very reliable as I use it as my main alarm for both home and on travel.

Sep 13, 2010Anyone using the Divi Clock widget and having problems because of it? It kept causing the MMS application on my phone to force close. I did a factory reset last Friday. Thought the problem was just a result of the 2.2 update. My phone was good all weekend up until today and the problem started up again. So started to narrow down what was causing the problem and this was the only thing I could find that was causing it. I switched clocks on my home screen and the MMS application hasn't had any problems since. Just thought I'd share this.

I have only installed 1 app: System Panel Light.
I have not seen my CPU Clock go below 500Mhz or so. just sitting here watching it it goes from 500 to 800 ish. this was happening both before and after my reset

May 8, 2010So the default Sense clock widget has a mode called desk clock, and it basically switches the entire screen to a black background with a digital clock on it. It's simple, but I like the idea for when I'm sleeping or working on the computer or whatever. Thing is, the screen still times out and locks itself at the normal length of time, which makes the mode pretty useless. Does anyone know of a way around this, or is this really feature really that poorly planned?

May 3, 2010Generally my location is detected normally but on occasion i get a number instead of the town i am in on the home screen clock widget. Same goes with the weather widget. I know its not a problem with the town information because sometimes it works and generally does so after being at the location for awhile. However today, for example, my location at work simply displays as "5". It has not updated itself after about 8 hours and counting. Friday it was fine.

I have had my phone replaced once and the replacement phone has worked very sporadically when I set the alarm to go off for me to wake up at 6:30 AM. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong? Has anybody else had a similar problem and how did you resolve it?
