HTC Incredible :: Any Option To Purchase And Download Music Directly To Phone?
May 9, 2010Any idea what's the best option I have to purchase and download entire music ALBUMS directly on my phone? Sorry, this is my first smartphone, so I don't know much. Are there any apps for it? Someone told me "Amazon MP3 Store" for Android. I went to MarketPlace and searched for "Amazon" but could not find any Amazon MP3 App. I tried to purchase an album from amazon.com, but it says I need to install an "Amazon MP3 downloader" to purchase albums and it does not give me an option to download a version for the Android OS (however, it asks me to select one of 4 linux distributions). The other option I have is to buy and download individual songs from amazon.com, but I don't want that. I want to download entire albums. What is the best option I have? (P.S: I am not looking for free music).

Sep 19, 2010ive read several threads regarding people who purchase a "new" EVO only to find out it was "used" I notice they typically notice some minor defect on the device. They ask the rep who "promises" that its new. they then take the device home and find out several weeks into the 30 days that they were given a returned phone and sold it as new.
Why in god's name, with all the stories of this going on.. wouldnt you just turn on the EVO with said "defects" and look at the call count/timer and refurb status in the phone WHILE YOU'RE IN THE STORE! if its used, show the rep.. tell him you DONT want a USED phone, insist on a new one.. and dont buy if you dont like the used handset! And telling me you dont know how isnt an excuse. there are EVO user guides on sprint's website.. or just open the user guide that COMES with the phone. as the saying goes.. "let the buyer beware!" I have ZERO sympathy for people in these scenarios!
HTC EVO 4G :: Direct Purchase And Outside Of The Contract?
May 28, 2010Is it possible to purchase the HTC EVO directly and outside of the contract? Right now I'm on Sprint's cheapest plan, and I don't want to upgrade to Sprint's data plan which would cost me $50 more per month. I know that a direct purchase would be more money, but assuming I have the phone for two years, it can't be $1,200 more ($50*24). I'm only going to use the web features at home or in the office, where I have WiFi anyway. If I REALLY need to use the data service here or there, it still won't cost me $50 more paying per KB. When at home or in the office, I could also use Google Voice to make all of my phone calls over WiFi if I go over my 300 minutes (which I won't). Will Sprint allow me to activate an unlocked phone on their network? Are there glaring gaps in this plan?

Obviously I could put the same mp3's on my phone and my wife's manually, but what about apps? Jul 16, 2010I bought Homerun Derby 3D yesterday night (A game I know, but I don't think it matters if it's a game or an app), and it's been stuck at "Authorizing Purchase" even until now. My card has been charged 5 bucks, and I can't refund it because I get an error every time I try to.
I have a Stock Froyo N1. I've had the demo for a long time so I don't know why it's not letting me compete the purchase. How do i go about either completing the purchase or refunding? I'm stuck in an endless loop here and out 5 bucks.
