View 1 RepliesAnyone know how i can contact Google to ask them about being able to purchase apps on Android Market?
I'm from South Africa and we're not supported on AM.
My HTC hero says my SD card is damaged and that I should format it. If I lost the apps which I paid for will it mean that I'll have to buy them again? How can I get them back?My main concenr is co-pilot live because it cost quite a bit.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSince the Dinc also has root, I would think they also have posted master backups in their forums. (I'm still trying to find some links.) Wouldn't their backup have some stuff we don't, (like the cool weather app that shows rain drops on their screen and a windshield wiper that wipes it clean), that could be installed on our phones?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am new to the Root scene, and am having a good time so far. I recently switched to the DROID from my Eris, and thought it a good opportunity to learn about rooting and ADB, using my Eris an experiment. Successful on that front I'm working on rooting my 2.1 DROID tonight.I checked around and couldn't find much/anyone on this but it may be because I don't know how to ask the right question. Can I ADB pull HTC apps off my Eris and Push them to my DROID? For example, I enjoy the functionality of the HTC People app over the stock contacts on the DROID. Can I mix and match?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am about to activate a Droid for my wife, and I would to set her up with her own Google account for email, contacts and such, but be able to download apps using my Google Checkout account and be able to install my purchased apps. Is there a way to do this? I know this is available in the iOS world. I was hoping the same thing would be available in the Android world.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter 3 bad Devours, Verizon shipped me a Droid as a replacement. I received it today and there isn't a battery. I went to the local Verizon store and Best Buy. None of them have batteries and said I would have to order it. Is there any where else that I could purchase a battery? I don't want to wait until Monday afternoon to use my phone.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am about to get the Droid and the Eris through Verizon (get one free deal), the Eris is for my wife, separate line joint account. My question is we are coming from the iphone where our calenders and contacts and all were always synced up. Will I have a problem doing this with these two phones or would it be easier if they were both Droids or both Eris?
Thanks
Has anybody figured out how to get past the Market bug that won't allow a US Credit Card to purchase an App listed with foreign currency? If I try to buy anything listed in Euros, I get an "Invalid Card" message.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy finance and I recently upgraded to Andriod phones (Samsung Fascinate and Driod X), and I'm looking for apps that sync between different phones. Specifically, to do lists, grocery lists, calendars, etc.
Anyone have any suggestions?
FYI, we already maintain a google calendar between the two of us as it makes scheduling things far easier than always checking in.
I have 3 android phones, one old G2, one xperia X8 and recently I got a free motoluxe from t-mobile.
I would like to make sure all the installed apps are always synced between each phone: If i install a few apps on the G2, I will be able to install them on any other phone by clicking a button or such without having to remember what i did install.
One major problem is that the motoluxe is not rooted yet, but both the other have custom roms.
I would like a cell phone app to be able to determine how many cell phones around it are running the same app.I'm not sure what direction to start researching (API's,concepts) to understand how my phone would figure out what other phones are running the same app in a specific distance.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy family has got three android phones, an HTC Hero, a Samsung Galaxy, and a T-Mobile Pulse, all are running android 1.5 with the latest manufacturer firmware. On the T-Mobile Pulse, when searching for a couple of apps (ones that I have installed on the other two devices), I get returned 'no matches'. For example, if I search for 'BrightAI', which is a developer who has around 8 apps on the market, I get no matches. If I search for individual apps, I get 'no matches'. Searching for the same on either the Hero or Galaxy returns the expected results. Does anyone have any ideas why certain apps are accessible on one device, but not the other?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm still a little confused as to what the situation is here. With a rooted Android phone, are all non-free market apps unavailable, or just ones with copy-protection? For non-free, un-protected apps (are there any?), can they be purchased directly and installed on the phone without going through the market?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWith an iPhone, if your family shares the same computer/itunes account, you share access to all of the same mp3's, videos, and apps you've bought from itunes. Obviously I could put the same mp3's on my phone and my wife's manually, but what about apps? Is it possible to buy the app once for a family, or does android require paying for each person seperately?

I just uploaded my application in the market, but I'm not able to purchase it (it's a pay app). I saw here that it seems to be made by design, but then why the error message is Server Error try again? Is there a way to bypass that?

I have a Stock Froyo N1. I've had the demo for a long time so I don't know why it's not letting me compete the purchase. How do i go about either completing the purchase or refunding? I'm stuck in an endless loop here and out 5 bucks.
I went to the devs website and they say it's up to Google to deal with purchase problems.
I am really Looking forward to my Incredible. With my Ipod Touch, I use a prepaid Itunes card. How do you purchase apps/games in the Android Market? Is it credit card only? What are the options?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSome apps like location tracking apps on my sons phone does not work all the time when his phones on 2g internet. But on wifi it seems to work all the time. Apps like life360 location tracking apps, remote control apps like androidlost, which uses push messages and also polling services works intermittently. Sometimes it works on 2g internet and sometimes it does not. But on wifi, there's no problem at all.
But strangely messaging apps like viber works continuously on 2g or wifi without any problems.
