Unfortunately, when you link the Facebook contacts to your device it will save their picture that you had when you first linked the contacts to your Gmail.You would have to delete them and re-add them if you want to change the pictures.

Ok, so you can link your friends facebook to a contact, and have their facebook picture as their contact picture. None of my friends contact picture has changed on my phone, even though a lot of them have changed their profile picture on facebook. Is there a way to refresh this somehow? FB is set to sync every few hours, and I've manually done it and no dice.

Only problem is, it wont update there pic, it's going on days now since they've change there pic and it wont update. I have unsync FB, resync and its update only that time, but it wont do it automatically.
View 26 Replies View RelatedI linked almost everyone in my contacts to their facebook profiles, but since updating the pictures never change to their new profile pictures. Anyway to fix this? Also their birthdays and other information don't sync with facebook anymore.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI looked through the forums but didn't see any answer to this issue; I have a DINC and when I logged in to Facebook the first time and linked the photos they all showed up; but now when people update their picture, it doesn't update on my Incredible. I tried logging out and back in then 'resyncing' it again to no avail. Any resolution to this problem? I see that some Evo and Hero users are having the same problem.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got my droid incredible. Seems like a decent phone but for some reason my facebook pics won't sync with the comparable contacts. On my old blackberry this was automatic but for some reason it won't work on this phone. Also do you guys leave your fb signed in all the time? I don't mind leaving it like this but I'm wndering if it will always how me as being on fb if i'm always signed in from my phone.

If your facebook contact has changed their picture and you want to update it on your phone, go to People > Online Directory > Facebook > Click refresh. It updates everyones pictures so it may take a while if you have a lot of contacts.
View 35 Replies View RelatedFor the sake of simplicity, the pages on facebook that you "Like", I will refer to them as 'fan pages' (old name). I am admin of a fan page (which doesn't matter since everyone can post photos/videos). How can I upload photos from my phone to this page? The phone's 'Touch' page and 'Mobile' page will only allow me to upload to my profile, but that's not what I want. When I go to the fan page using the 'Touch' or 'Mobile' page, it never gives me option to upload photos, only to view them. I tried using the normal 'Full' facebook page on my phone but it just says "Upload Disabled" because I'm not on a PC. Can someone explain how I can upload a photo to a fan page? This was one of the bigger reasons I got this phone.

I figured out how to get the picture from the phone to be the one used for the contacts, but three of them keep reverting to the facebook pictures and I can't figure out why.

Apologies if this has been covered in some other thread - but I couldn't find one.Just got my HTC Droid Incredible. I have my Apple Address Book set to sync with Google. I have my Droid also syncing with Google.
Issue 1) Pictures I set on my Apple contacts did not sync to Google and therefore not to my Droid either.
Issue 2) I manually loaded pictures onto my Droid then edited the contacts to use those pictures. After a bit of time (maybe one hour), the contact pictures reverted back to what Facebook has for those contacts. Is there some way to turn that syncing with Facebook off?
Issue 3) even if I wanted to use the Facebook pictures, they appear very fuzzy and cropped badly on the Droid. To the point where they are not recognizable.
Coming from an iPhone I guess I was spoiled because the facebook app for Android sucks! Friend Stream is a little better but you can't upload pictures and don't' get notifications. Just wondering if there is anything better out there?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a link to the Facebook app on one of my screens and whenever I open it and immediately click on "News Feed", there are posts from a matter of minutes or 1 hour ago even when I haven't opened the app for a full day or two. I am not root, using stock everything and have downloaded all of the OTA updates. My Settings > Accounts and Sync menu shows accounts only for Google and Weather, nothing for Facebook. Auto-sync data is checked but shouldn't it only do so for the accounts that are setup?

My sister changed her Facebook photo, I use the facebook photos as the contact photos on my phone. My phone has not reflected the different photo yet, its been a few days.
I've unlinked and relinked the account, went into Accounts & Sync, and re-synced it, but the old photo still shows up. It's not a huge deal, but the photo is her and her ex-boyfriend, and I'm sure she'd rather me not have that photo on my phone.
I've been running the Facebook widget from LPP and it stopped updating last week. I've rebooted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the widget, no luck. Any thoughts?

The default is that new pictures are all the way at the bottom, and since I have over a hundred pictures its annoying to scroll all the way to the bottom. However, there have been no updates to facebook posts in Timescape for 2 days - setting is set to update per hour. If I click through one of the old posts in timescape it shows me a Facebook login screen - but whenever I type in my Facebook login it flicks back the emailaddress/phone number to show my phone number rather than my username!?
