May 6, 2010My facebook stopped updating randomly, even when I update manually it doesn't show Any new posts or info. This happening to anyone else or any suggestions?

HTC Desire :: Contact Facebook Photos Not Updating
Jun 19, 2010After having linked all my contacts with their facebook profiles. their profile pics came up on their contact info. HOWEVER now they do not update. for e.g when they update their profile pic on facebook. my desire wont update it to their contact info on my desire. i have syncing automatically and manually through settings...but no luck. what am i doing wrong?

Jan 7, 2010My "total" and "active install" numbers in Developer Console have not been changing for more than 36 hours, for all 5 apps that I publish. Has anyone seen the same thing? The ranking of my apps haven't been dropping yet (touch wood) so maybe just I am getting a stale view of the numbers?

Sep 29, 2010I released an app a few days ago and saw the total & active install count start moving pretty much immediately. However, over the last day or so it seems to have stalled. Judging from the ad metrics from AdMob over the same period though I'm pretty sure it's getting more downloads. Does anyone have any insight on how frequently Google updates these counters on the Developer Console?

May 10, 2010Unfortunately, when you link the Facebook contacts to your device it will save their picture that you had when you first linked the contacts to your Gmail.You would have to delete them and re-add them if you want to change the pictures.

Jul 7, 2010I have a link to the Facebook app on one of my screens and whenever I open it and immediately click on "News Feed", there are posts from a matter of minutes or 1 hour ago even when I haven't opened the app for a full day or two. I am not root, using stock everything and have downloaded all of the OTA updates. My Settings > Accounts and Sync menu shows accounts only for Google and Weather, nothing for Facebook. Auto-sync data is checked but shouldn't it only do so for the accounts that are setup?

Jul 1, 2010I saw the thread in the Sprint HTC Hero forum, but it didn't really address the problem, so I figure I'll ask here as well.
My sister changed her Facebook photo, I use the facebook photos as the contact photos on my phone. My phone has not reflected the different photo yet, its been a few days.
I've unlinked and relinked the account, went into Accounts & Sync, and re-synced it, but the old photo still shows up. It's not a huge deal, but the photo is her and her ex-boyfriend, and I'm sure she'd rather me not have that photo on my phone.

Aug 22, 2010Today my Facebook stock app stopped working properly...everything will load as normal except for News Feed. It get "an error occurred while fetching data" message everytime. My notifications and profile still load, but News Feed won't.

None of my friends contact picture has changed on my phone, even though a lot of them have changed their profile picture on facebook. Is there a way to refresh this somehow? However, there have been no updates to facebook posts in Timescape for 2 days - setting is set to update per hour. If I click through one of the old posts in timescape it shows me a Facebook login screen - but whenever I type in my Facebook login it flicks back the emailaddress/phone number to show my phone number rather than my username!?

Yesterday my phone stopped connecting to facebook.It doesn't update in the people anymore, but does just fine with the fb app from the market.I thought maybe I did something to screw it up so I decided to reset the phone and start over.Now I have nothing linked to facebook and not sure if there is a setting I'm overlooking or not.When I go into the people app, and then try to link someone I know is a friend,it pulls up nobody for any option.Anyone else having an issue with this?Any suggestions for fixing this?I have tried syncing through the settings>account and syc. I'm on vodafone and when i try to refresh the news feed, i keep getting a "an error had occurred while fetching data (null)" message appearing. Jun 10, 2010I got my desire last week and everything was good until last night when i changed my googlemail address to gmail. I looked across the forum and found that the best thing to do was reset the phone. I did this and all was perfect once more until I went to go to college and was listening to music but couldn't change tracks or pause using the hands-free kit. I have no idea how to get it working again and don't know if the reset had anything to do with it stopping working. All I know is it worked perfectly the other day.

Nov 4, 2010My 'accounts & sync' settings have always had 'facebook' turned off for syncing, and I have never turned it on. Yet this morning i was playing around with the bit in 'people' to try and see if the facebook bit in there worked and i would be able to link a contact in there with their facebook account. It asked me to log into facebook (after which incidentally it could not then find the contact in facebook lol). After that i went to the calendar and it now shows ALL 2500 facebook contacts birthdays!!
Please tell me there is a way to undo this. at no point did i ever select auto facebook syncing, or choose to import facebook calendar. Obviously now the calendar is pretty unusable as there are multiple bithdays on every day.
HTC Desire :: Facebook Directory / Facebook For HTC Sense
Jun 22, 2010My HTC Desire's Facebook directory lists 205 friends for my Facebook, while in reality I have 207 (and Facebook for Android app of course shows them all, too)I'm not quite sure why or how 2 of them have gone missing, but I think one went when I messed a bit up, merged 2 contacts on my phone and started removing information from that contact, so it in the end had only 1 number and 1 facebook friend linked to it. Ever since I haven't been able to see the friend whose contact/link I removed in Facebook directory.I've tried uninstalling Facebook for Android to access Facebook for HTC Sense, but apparently it can't be completely uninstalled - only the update(s) for it, and the cache/data can be uninstalled for what I can tell.
So I've uninstalled it's updates, I've cleared it data/cache - and I've cleared all the cache/data from Facebook for HTC Sense too.I've removed my phone-linked Facebook account, too, with no luck.No matter how many times I try re-syncing or refreshing, the 2 contacts are still missing.One new contact that I added as my friend today appeared normally, though.Any ideas how to fix this? It's annoying when I can't link 1 contact to her Facebook, when I have pretty much everyone else linked to theirs.
