I turned my resolution to the lowest setting and still cannot send a 20 second video.is there a program that will resize the videos for sending? Handcent does this with pictures, but not video.

Is there a trick?Any video i try to send it says "sorry, you can not attach this to your message." What is that all about? My eris did the same thing so i just gave up but this just doesnt seem right!
View 12 Replies View RelatedIn short, I cannot send any videos I record, no matter how short, via MMS...only email. This is a problem and I'm sure I'm missing something. Whenever I got to attach a video, it says I've exceeded my size or something, yet I have my MMS Sent option set to it's maximum.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've had my Incredible for a few weeks now, love it, been stalking these forums reading whatever I can when I can, last night I went and took a video(s) of a fire I had in my yard(fire pit, not an Oh shit, Fire!) to send my girlfriend to rub in the fact that she was working,First video was 15 seconds, second 5, neither would send. They said the file size was too large, are there settings I have to change to be able to send videos?.My buddy has a Moto Droid, its got a MMS setting, I can't seem to find that on the Incredible.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHow do i look inside my current rom to see if anything is out of wack with my framework? mms stoped working for some reason. i cannot send or recieve mms or video. if i wipe and clear cache and reinstall the rom it will work just fine but when i titanium backup all my apps and system data, thats when i lose the ability to send pics or recieve them. i have not deleted anything from the system but it seems as something has gone missing. any help is greatly appreciated . i am running second wave with latest radio.

I can attach the video but when I click send it just sits in the outbox for a long time then I get a "message not sent" error in the notification bar. This notification keeps popping up till I go into the outbox and delete the Email.Is this a problem with the EVO or is this an isolated problem?

I keep getting the WARNING - Message size limit reached.Some of these clips were between 10-20 seconds long.I dont think it's the camcorder settings af i have reset to default.I can attach them in an Email no problem.

The email stays in my Sent folder and never goes out.. various other forums (Hero, Droid, Android Apps) all say you have to clear your Gmail Cache.. Did that. still doesnt work.. View 3 Replies View RelatedSo today I filmed the kids to send through MSS to their gramps. I used the MMS setting on the camera since the X10 can't edit video (amazing blunder if you ask me). But even with this setting the video gets too large to send. I've tried to change the allowed size in Handcent but that only removes the message about too big a file. The MMS is marked by a red clock indicating not sent. The original app does the same thing. Anybody else with this problem? The phone is rooted now but since so little can be removed after rooting due to problems with other apps I guess I'll just un-root it soon and live with Moxier. It's basically the only major app that can be removed without consequenses.

It doesn't. The videos I would try sending would be less than 10 seconds long. The message I would receive is "The receiving service provider for xxx-xxx-xxxx has a size limit for picture/video. Your message may not be received." A few of the individuals say that they are able to receive video messages and have no issues. What gives?

When I try to run video while on Yahoo's site I get message "Cannot play video - Sorry this video cannot be played." I have no issues with ESPN, Cnet, etc. I'm able to run these yahoo videos on my wife's Eris with 2.1 (v.3).

This phone can play videos and is a standard Verizon branded phone. The video has already been converted to the standard .3gp format from my PC which uses Roxio 2010 Video converter. This is actually excellent news for me. A lot of the times I couldn't care less who sees me but I want to see them (daughter, wife, etc.). This way they can look at what I'm looking at while I see them.

Please verify your outgoing server settings."What is maddening is, turn off WiFi and mail will send (therefore the setting are correct).

I would get the following errors: unknown error, generic network error, unable to send. Stock messenger works fine with MMS, but doesn't work properly if I have handcent installed. Once I uninstall it, it's fine. As a last resort, I "factory restored" my phone. Handcent still doesn't work. Stock messenger occasionally needs to be force closed with "the process com.android.mms has stopped unexpectedly".................
