Just got a Hero and need some help if possible, while I play with this great phone.
1. How do you save and run apps from the memory card ?
2. Is there a simple way to kill apps, as they seem to clog up.
3. Can the device be rooted?

There are alot of rumors around about the upcoming 1.6 release, does anyone know if the ability to save apps to the memory card will be implemented in this release or will it be still a case of hurry up and wait?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just rooted my desire and its fine, i did a back up too so ive not lost anything and its working fine, but im trying to still figure out how to make a default setting of some kind so my apps save to my SD card rather than internal memory. also im trying to become more aware of the benefits of rooting now ive done it besides the increase in phone performance etc and things like that.
