For example, the following programs were pre-installed:
Amazon MP3
Footprints
Teeter
And maybe some others.
I've just tried:
Settings | Applications | Manage Apps
And noticed there's not always an option to Uninstall on these and some others.
Is it possible to remove, delete, uninstall, or get them off the device?
Is there any way to remove the pre-installed Sprint programs?
Sprint TV
Sprint-Nextel
NFL
Nascar
Are there some "core apps" or "core programs" that can't be removed?
A brief search on this matter on related threads seems to indicate only on "rooted" phones.

Aug 16, 2010I installed a couple of programs not from the market (tweetdeck for example) how do I go about removing them? I know if I had downloaded it from the market I could just go there to uninstall it, but what if the APK was installed from a link? I am rooted btw. Can I just use the folder program to go in and delete the APK?

Android :: Half - Downloaded App - Says Installed
Nov 15, 2010So a few days ago I went to download a few apps. None of them seemed to want to download and I was pretty annoyed about this for about 2 days. Suddenly the Market seemed to work again, and I got 5 or 6 notifications of successfully installed apps. Winner
Unfortunately, there's one that seems not to have downloaded: "Street View On Google Maps". It thinks it's downloaded, but it's not there. If I go to delete apps on my phone, I can't see it. If I go to place an app or a widget on my home page, I can't see it. However, if I find it in the market, it says it's installed. And if I tap it in the market, both the "Open" and "Uninstall" buttons are greyed out. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here and how I can fix it? If it makes any difference, I'm on a HTC Desire HD.

Feb 22, 2010I had installed a mobile defense guardian? App the other day, forget if that was the exact name and noticed after that. That I wasn't getting picture messages to show up right away anymore, now it seems like they have to send the same picture 2 or 3 times before it will actually download and I can view it. Wondering if there is some known issue or a fix to get it back to normal and working right again. I'm looking at one now and it just says it's downloading, never leaves that, doesn't show a picture.

Sep 13, 2010I'm a newbie on smartfones and had spent a few days adding useful apps to my Galaxy S. File management and, file transfer applications to wireless link to my laptop followed by the transfer of all my work presentations (powerpoint) and lecture notes. All worked fine until today. Now, my device seems to have lost all the downloaded and installed apps (leaving gaps on the desktop). It has also discarded the image I had chosen for my screen background, and I can't see an icon to go to the Android store. Finally: on one of the screens I have the message "Problem loading widget". That might be connected to the problem that Android Market has completely disappeared. How do I get that back!! It's important. My transferred files are still sitting in folders in DCIM so that's good. but none of the special applications are visible. Can someone give an opinion on this. Has something taken place online with Samsung that has put my system back to its out-of-box state.
