Currently running VillainROM 10.2 but I cant seem to find any of the widgets I used before I installed Launcherpro (bookmarks, calendar gallery etc). I have downloaded a bookmark app from the market but it's crap Can't seem to find any "LauncherPro widget apps" so where am I going wrong?

My Hero rebooted itself when i cut it off and cut it back on due to aggravation of lag. after spending half the day fooling with getting back some apps, my contacts from google and the whole issue with syncing facebook to my contacts. i thought i could easily just look up my city for the weather widget location.
Well before the reboot my weather showed just fine, my location and everything. now my city isn't even in the data base and my gps and such is turned on. some of the directions ive read on using the gps to find my location has become a headache because i don't think i have those features.
When i go into my weather settings and click the + sign it goes straight to search location. i type in the name of my city and it doesn't come up.
Any good widgets out there that display time? I recently started using launcher pro and was wondering if there are any good widgets to replace HTC sense.

When I add an event by selecting a day in the future, it opens an agenda but the start/end date is always the current date. Anybody else with a DX have this problem? Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a known issue that will be fixed in the future? I checked the LP forum and didn't see this issue.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I first got my Desire I used the stock internet browser. I added a bookmark for netcarshow.com. After a while I started using Dolphin HD which I found to be far better, and started adding several bookmarks to Dolphin. Fast forward a month or so and I'm still using Dolphin HD and have been using LauncherPro for the past couple of weeks.
The problem is when I add the LauncherPro Bookmarks widget to a homescreen. It only shows the bookmark for netcarshow.com; my saved bookmarks in Dolphin are nowhere to be seen. They all show when using the browser, but not in the LauncherPro widget. I've looked through every setting for Android, Dolphin and LauncherPro but can't find a way to import/export the bookmarks. Also used Astro to look for bookmarks folders (to copy/paste) and viewed the SD card using USB on my PC, but unable to find any stored bookmark data. The LauncherPro widget is excellent but I can't figure out how to get it to display the Dolphin bookmarks, any ideas?
I have been using LP Plus and absolutely love it, transformed the phone IMO. I am however, having problems with the bookmark display in that it is not displaying the web pages in the widget as it should be, it just comes up with the name and a standard image. I have tried just going into the page but it doesn't work.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI thought this was an issue w/ DroidLight update, then I assumed it was something after I downloaded PowerAmp, now I have come to realize that it is most likely either Widget Locker or LauncherProPlus. But here is the case.
After launching DroidLight, then clicking the "off" mode, then exiting to the homescreen, I go to lock my phone by the Usual Power press on my Droid X, and the phone shuts off only to have the light turn on a few seconds later on its own. This same process happens if the last thing I use is something like PowerAmp, even if I force close, it will turn on by itself after shut off.
I decided to try out LauncherPro and I quite like it but one big annoyance is that there's no longer a widget for toggling mobile data on/off. Any widget that would do that on the market?
PS: I tried Android on-off widget but it only changed access points or something and that's not what I'm looking for.
It looks just like the Lpp calendar widget, and works great so far. Do the update if you're using this home app, and you'll get the Facebook widget under Lpp widgets.

The one thing I'm missing is some sort of widget or shortcut to toggle 4G on my Evo. I've searched the market and frankly, I'm not paying a buck for a simple widget. It might be worth a quarter to me, but not a dollar. Ideally, I'd love something like the notification setup from the Epics touch wiz which would be worth some $$$ to me. Anyone know a free or cheap alternative?

When I use LauncherPro my home screen (and other screens) are not set up the way I currently have them. I spent a lot of time setting my current screens so they are exactly the way I want them. Any way to save that config when switching to LauncherPro? It does seem faster so I want to give it a shot, but I'm dreadig setting everything up again- widgets, apps, etc.

View 4 Replies View Related1st off, I am brand new to Android, have had this phone for 1 day.
All instructions I find say 1 of 2 things, either tap and hold the home screen until I see a "+add widgets", or swipe left to right until I see the menu button. I also read that the menu button should look like 3 vertical bars.
Tapping and holding the home screen only gives me options to add wallpapers, nothing else. I cannot find anything like a menu button. When I go into settings I can find nothing that has to do with adding widgets.
How to find this menu button, what the icon for menu will look like?

I'm trying to find the horizontally scrolling app widget that is shown in the screenshot below. I saw this picture on another forum and I msged the poster however I received no reply so I decided to continue searching. The unlock slider looks very neat as well and would love to get my hands on it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC Hero, rooted, latest Cyanogen with LauncherPro Plus. But I don't know if it's a rooted issue so I posted here. Sometimes scrolling slows to a crawl, sometimes it takes a minute to go back to the home screen, LauncherPro crashes a lot, the lock screen takes a few seconds to unlock. Other times all of that zips through. It's maddening About 24 megs of free storage on phone. What could it be? And the phone reboots a lot on its own also.
