View 2 Replies View RelatedThis may be a stupid question but can you D/L themes and apply them using MetaMorph to any ROM? I see A LOT of cool themes that I'd like to start messing around with but I'm not sure if you need to be on a certain ROM or not. Also, how do you use MM to apply the themes?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just rooted yesterday using the EE3.0 rom. I'm trying to use Metamorph to apply a new lockscreen, the Vanilla one from here: [THEME] Vanilla Lockscreen NON-Transparent Background [UPDATED: 07/05/2010] - xda-developers
I was able to apply the rotary one here [THEME] Rotary Style Lockscreen for EE 3.0 or CE 1.1 [UPDATED: 06/08/2010] - xda-developers
However, I can't seem to change it to the first one, which is the one I really like. Metamorph goes through and applies the XML and apk, reboots, but always comes back to the rotary one.
I was just wondering if anyone new of a metamorph theme for this battery icon:

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was thinking of changing my eris around a little bit as far as the look. I don't want to root my phone though (not yet anyway). Is there an app or a way that I can install a theme set for my icons or at least change them all myself without having to root my phone? I'm also wondering what the best app is for a new lockscreen.

Anyone know how to get that on Droid?
I'm trying to create a basic AlertDialog using an activity with a theme of Theme.Dialog.What I want is for there to be a horizontal bar between the title and the message. However, the bar is not being resized correctly. Rather than being the width of the activity, the bar is the width of the message text. This means that if the activity is being expanded by the message, then the bar will fill the whole activity, so it looks correct. However, if the message width is less than the activity width, the bar only displays above the part of the activity with the text. I've tried every single combination of "fill_parent" and "wrap_content" that I can think of, and none of those work.I've also tried using RelativeLayout and placing the bar above the message text, but that also doesn't work. If I use the RelativeLayout approach and set the bar to fill_parent, it causes the activity to expand to fill the whole screen width, which is also undesirable. Ideally, I want the text placed, the activity width computed, and the bar resized to that width (without affecting it). Is there some way to flag a view to fill the parent view but not to affect its size?
View 1 Replies View Relatedjust got my phone the other day and I love it. I need help though. How can I install a Win 7 theme that I downloaded from the Market. I looked in settings, but don't see it.
View 7 Replies View RelatedIs it only available for root users?
i couldn't tell if the theme was a custom ROM or what.
I use themes in my apps, which generally just extend android:Theme and then set a bunch of styles. I use dialogs made from layouts, but since I set the theme for the application, they have inherited all of the regular styles and no longer carry a border, etc. My question is: How do I say, "I want everything to use this theme which extends Theme, except dialogs, which should use this other theme that extends Theme.Dialog"? It seems like that's how things work by default but when you set the theme to your own, you lose the dialog theme!
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've extended Theme.Dialog to use a different color as per the sample in the ApiDemos project but for some reason it does not use the theme properly in my project. I created a new project and it works perfectly fine there. The main problem here is that it does not show as floating in my project. Instead, it sets the rest of the screen black except for what would be the dialog window, where it uses the correct colors, etc. Any ideas? I am beating my head against the wall here.
View 2 Replies View RelatedLet me preface this by saying I am a 48-hours deep Android NOOB, so I apologize if the solution to this is something unbelievably simple that I have just overlooked. I don't think it is, because I am very experienced with WinMo, BB, and WebOS and don't usually pull NOOB type moves.
So, I have a Droid Eris. Actually, I have two. Well, I have one and she has one, anyway. I have had no trouble with hooking mine up to the computer with USB, mounting it, and moving files back and forth. One of the first things I did was load files on.
When I try and hook hers up, I plug it in with the same USB cable (one of the cables that came with them, btw), mount it, and nothing happens. It isn't recognized by the computer. The first time I did this with her phone, I had a little balloon pop up on the task bar that said something about "installing HTC Dream".
If I go to my computer tho, nothing is there that could be the phone. I checked my device manager in the control panel, and under "ADB Interface" i have HTC Dream listed. This is as far as I have gotten with this. This all came about because she couldn't figure out how to set the theme song from the office as her tone for text messaging. I hooked it up to the computer to try and see if I could move the file into a different folder to try and set it, and ran into this f-stick of a problem.
Well for work purposes silly ol me decided to do a PC Sync of my Calendar with my Desire.
Well what happened was, the calendar on my phone got cluttered cause there were too many appointments and the worst thing is my phone calendar items got transferred to my work calendar on my PC also.
Which I would rather not have....Is there a way to Undo PC Sync?
So I'm trying to apply themes and metamorph will take forever (it never completes) when applying each item. Periodicly I get forcloses and waits for Su manager and mm.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to adapt my application from a confirmation model to an undo model. For those of you who don't know, this is where you can delete something with one click but if it was a mistake you can undo it just as easily, as opposed to interrupting the user every time he/she wants to do something to ask the annoying "Are you sure you want to...?" question via dialog.
My app is backed by the Android SQLite DB and I want to be able to undo a limited set of delete and update operations. Also, I only need to be able to undo one sequential change and the information does not have to stick arround for very long.
Everything I read on undo/redo says to use a command model to store the data. My question is how can I store the database changes in a lightweight restorable way?
What has everyone found for the 2.1 roms. I know there is already a Themes thread but most of them are for 2.0.1, Im running BB v9 and a mix of Smokedglassframe 2.1 and Flavored Ice. Here is what I have found so far. Smoked Glass Frame. MM Smoked Glass Framework for 2.1 - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum. Here is how you can go back to stock. View 9 Replies View RelatedI looked in the market this morning, and saw an update for the OCLF. I installed the update, then opened the app and selected "Undo OneClickLagFix V1+". Afterwards, for good measure, I removed then reinstalled "EXT2 Tools." Every time I've tried to install the V2 lag fix, I get an error (redoing OCLF V1+, however, appears to work fine).
