Jul 28, 2010I did the simple root last night and installed the latest version of damage control that rom manager had access to. So after I loaded it onto my phone I tried to run DCupdater. The update downloaded fine, but I found that after it tried installing I would run into a screen that showed a yellow triangle with an exclamation point sign in it with an android next to it. What can I do so that I can update DC?

Took out the battery and replaced it. Now the phone appears to be charging, but the icons for charging will not stay lit. Although it has been on the charger for some time, the phone will not boot up
Through a google search, I found that many people get the battery with a yellow triangle and a red thermometer. Most think that temperature is the problem, but no one has conclusively identified the problem. I do not get the thermometer, so my problem is probably different.
General :: Galaxy Note Stuck At Yellow Triangle?
Dec 25, 2012Yesterday I received a Samsung Galaxy Note from China Mobile, model GT-I9228. It didn't have google play and so I looked online on how to get it. Apparently I had to root my phone. However, when I rooted it using this method: rootgalaxynote(dot)com/galaxy-note-root/how-to-root-galaxy-note-gt-n7000-method-2odinheimdall/ (it said gt-n7000 on the box so I thought it was compatible) now it's stuck at the loadup screen with the yellow triangle. I tried to restore it to a stock gb rom, but it keeps failing. (The phone can go into download mode, I just don't know what to do from there)

Mar 25, 2012I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I rooted it successfully.
Then I tried to install a CRT-style lock animation mod. For this I had to copy a new file into the /system/framework folder replacing an existing one. Once I did that my phone won't boot.
It restarts with the Samsung Galaxy S2 logo and the yellow triangle. Then the sound plays with an android text style logo. Then it just turns off.
What do I do? How do I transfer a ROM over so I can flash it? My CWM is v4.0. something so it won't read a ROM from my external SD card. And Kies won't load my phone because it isn't booted onto an OS.

Sprint HTC Hero :: Update Give Yellow Exclamation Point
Nov 19, 2009I wanted to see if anybody had some advice on the 1.29-1.56 update. I have tried several times including multiple hard resets to get my device to update. Each time the update downloads successfully but after the phone restarts and shows the progress bar unzipping the package it stops halfway and shows the phone with a triangle and a yellow exclamation point.

Nov 6, 2010I rooted my DINC a while back using Unrevoked 3. When 2.2 became available via OTA, I kept refusing the update, because I wasn't sure if I could update to it from a rooted phone. My wife was using the phone one day when the update notice popped up again, and she proceeded with the update. Sure enough, the update ended up failing, with a red triangle and exclamation point.
After I rebooted the device, I never received another OTA update request. So I tried to unroot the phone, but clockwork seems to stick around. Just an hour ago, I tried to install the official 2.2 ROM (PB31IMG.zip). After applying the image, I get a green triangle, then the same red triangle with an exclamation point. I restarted the device, but now it boots into the white hboot screen, with the following info:

Oct 18, 2010I was trying to install the latest software via software companion and it was taking well over an hour. So I removed the phone to complete it later. Big mistake. My phone is now disabled and only shows an exclamation mark and triangle. What I have to do to restore it.

Nov 19, 2009I have tried yellow pages search app and yp.com app and both apparently need gps or location because when I search it put me in Germany and doesn't find what I need, when I go to find myself ie: location, it finds me in the last location I was or in Germany or London or omthing and again doesn't work. It is a well known fact the samsung rumor has gps issues (for now anyways) until a hopeful update fixes it. Yes I have tried the wifi trick and some other things and still no luck....its a crap shoot, you may or may not find yourself.
So until such time as the patch/update is out is there a recommended app that works like Yellow Pages Local Directory - YELLOWPAGES.COM does with no location needed, you just use a zip code or city and state.

1) how do I change the color of the seek bar (path) from yellow (the default color) to white. What I mean to say is, while I slide the thumb , it turns the line traversed from grey to yellow. I want track/line to either remain grey or white..Basically I want just the thumb to move with no color change in the seek bar.
