HTC EVO 4G :: Transferring Via Wireless - Talk Text Web Icons

Im trying to figure out is there a program where I can transfer all my music from my laptop on windows to my unrooted htc evo. Been looking through all the forums but havent seen any. My nephew broke my usb so it has to be OTA. Now the icon problem. I recently downloaded a icon set from someone on these forums. It has talk text web icons. They are in like square bubbles. Their white and it says like Talk in big letters and dialer under. Then like Text in big letters and messengers under them. Wondering if there are anymore icons like that or if anyone could lead me in the right direction. Ok last one lol. I want to post my screen on my evo. My apple killer is unrooted and I do not have a usb. Is there anyway I can take a screenshot of my phone and get it on the forums without being rooted or having a usb?

if there is a way to transfer my text messages from one phone to another? I have the OG Droid and im picking up a Nexus tomorrow, i'd love if there was a way to transfer all of my text's from my droid to the new Nexus.ns

This is proving to be much more difficult than I thought. I need to get a long string of text messages off my phone and into a document that I can print out and save on a computer. I have tried to get into the system files using a file manager app.

My friend has the Moment and on his text keyboard in the stock messaging app he has a microphone icon where he can talk to the phone and it types out the text. My Hero (with same looking qwerty text keyboard doesnt have that icon.

So I am wanting to buy the Motorola Droid but looking to get ride of the messaging option such as text messaging. I mean I will have access to e-mail so do I really need text messaging? Trying to save some money and I really only get maybe 50 texts a month.
Anyone else have a Droid without the text option. Just Nationwide Talk?
Also another question: Anyone buy a Droid through Bestbuy? Looking to buy Droid through Bestbuy cause hubby wants the Blackberry 8530 Curve? and you can get it free when you buy the Droid. Otherwise through Verizon you can get the Eris with a purchase of the Droid but hubby insists on the Blackberry, he's lets say not really into computers anyways.

I am using IMO for Instant Messaging and so i removed the TALK app from my Nexus one (running Oxygen Rom) using Titanium backup.Recently there was an update in TALK app and i wanted to try it (Hangouts) so i installed it from the playstore. It was very slow on my mobile so i removed it again.
Now i am getting Talk notifications (with the old TALK icon) in the notification bar. along with the IMO notifications. When i click on the Talk notifications it does not open any app. and the messages that are notified by TALK are missing in the IMO app so its very frustrating.
So i thought it must be the HANGOUTS app and re installed it from the Play Store. Now i get Hangout notification, Talk notification and IMO notification. I removed the Hangouts app from the Application Manager and i still getting the TALK notifications.

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the text that always says "Verizon Wireless" when you pull down the notification bar? I am currently not rooted, but will be doing so in the next few days (I'm still trying to decide what ROM i want to flash to start out). I don't know if this is even possible, but I thought it would be another good way to make my phone unique.

there is a way to edit the text below your icons. For instance I would like my Handcent icon to instead say "messages" below it. Can I do that and if so how? Also on a side note, could someone enlighten me as to what all this UI business is about? Some people talk about using "sense" and some people use something else. What exactly do these user interfaces do and how do people change them?

I understand how to change icons, but for those icons that change due to a notification. Where and how do i provide a 2nd icons or a number status next to it similar to the originals?
Currently my icons are changed for text and email, however they do not change with the incoming.

I am using this following code which creates a ListView with text and an icon but the problem that I have which the following I want the array to be dynamic instead of static so my list gets created dynamically not statistically. My ultimate goal is to retrieve specific strings from my Db and to display it then on the Listview where every string would be in each row.

I have a few questions about how Chomp works on the Epic: If I download Chomp, will I still get notifications at the top notification pull down on the home page? Or are the only notifications given on the actual chomp icon? (I don't want to have two notifications.) I was also wondering if I would still be able to use the "speak to text" feature that the stock app has? Lastly, there is a set of permanent icons on the home screen (phone, contacts, messaging, apps). When I click messaging, would it go to chomp?

should the voice mail icon have a number on it like the email or text icons if you get a new voicemail? If I get a notification, it only shows up on the task bar. I was also experiencing not recieving texts. I have since done a reset which fixed the text issue (and sleep-for now), but not the voicemail. Should I take the phone back? I fear its anotjer software bug, not hardware. I love this phone, but I'm getting very annoyed that it can't even do what its suppose to.

The main reason i wanted a rooted phone was so i could connect to my laptops ad hoc network and use a program for wireless keyboard and mouse. i cant really afford the real thing at the moment and with my laptop hooked up to my flat screen its kind of necessary to have..
So ive rooted my phone and tried a few roms. currently i have this one: [ROM] [05/18/2010] Tainted Vanilla V1.4 OVERCLOCKED - xda-developers
I always run into the same problem though. wired or wireless, i cant get it to connect right. wired never works in any way but i dont really care about that. wireless however shows some signs of working. it shows some data has been sent, not received though. and my computer will detect and connect to it, but seems to lose the signal after a few moments. when i bring up a browser it doesnt even look like something might load. it just says im offline. could someone help me with this?
The other part of this problem is i really just want to connect to my computers ad hoc network and use a wireless keyboard and mouse program. none of them seem that great unfortunately.. recommendations are appreciated. but my biggest issue is that i cant seem to connect to an ad hoc network. i believe my phone detected it only once while i was on the "white widow" rom, but could never quite connect..
