Jun 10, 2010I just downloaded a music app that works great, much better tham pandora but was curious about how many songs can it store? And if all those songs will affect performance?

Jul 31, 2010Coming from a Iphone to the X the music player is a little lacking. Often I will go into a certain artist and want to play all the songs by that artist, or thumb through all their songs to find a certain one. On the stock music player on the X this seems hard to do (maybe I'm missing something).
if I pull up the music by artist and select a certain artist then it shows me all their albums (The iphone has the option at this point to select all albums and see all the songs of that artist in alphabetical order). The X doesn't give a option to select all albums at this point. If I go to artists and long press on a certain artist I can select play and it will start playing all that artists songs, then I can hit pause and go into the list from that point to see all the songs but they seem to be in a random order making it hard to find a specific song.
I've tried a couple other players and haven't been able to find one that functions like the Iphone, makes it hard to quickly find one song.

Jul 25, 2010Tonight I was setting another album to offline in Spotify when it reported I ccouldn't save any more music. Bit puzzled seeing as i've got a 16gb SD card in there. Turns out Spotify is only using the internal SD card :S totally burnt out my 8gb already! I see no option in Spotify to select where to place the offline store, anyone else in the ssame 8gb boat?

May 15, 2010I am new to this forum. Love my new incredible, I am long time user of Win CE(Motorola Q) Oh my my Was I stone ages. What A difference.....am getting to know my new toy. One thing I can't figure out is where dose the pictures get store to.(The Actual Directory) I did download ASTRO(Great Tool) but still am unable to hunt the actual store directory that the pics gets store to. Dose anybody know where this is. I also need to find out once I connect my phone to the PC how to get it off of the phone to my PC and or server. once I connect to PC all I see is the SD card and there isn't much in there.

Sep 28, 2010im using the free version from the market. when i first opened it it gave me the option to do by songs or by album. for some reason i thought by album would be easier. when i went to play the songs i noticed that it was linking multiple songs with the same album cover..most were not even from the same artist. i uninstalled it, then reinstalled and still didnt get the option to do it by song.
how do i update the album for the ones that got the wrong cover? there are some songs that still dont have one at all as its not showing up in the list in the app of album cover..i have been using ayal music download to download the songs. i currently have music mod, and mixzing downloaded and the problem is happening with all of the music players. im hoping there is a way to fix this..i dont necessarily need the album cover, but it would be nice to have.
Media :: Sync Songs With Droid X
Jul 16, 2010I have read most of the threads on how to sync songs with my Droid X but the problems is this: over the years as I have acquired music I have changed the artist names and song names to be neatly organized. This, however, was only reflected in my iTunes Library and apparently not on my hard drive. Now if I want to sync to my Droid X all of my songs will look very disorganized.
Is there any way to, and without manually going back and renaming all the files, sync the exact iTunes Library, new names and all, to my device? I've tried doubletwist, the motorola program and VCast Media manager, but those all take their info from the original files.
HTC EVO 4G :: Relabeling Names Of Artists And Songs?
Oct 3, 2010I can't figure out how to relabel the artist and song names of songs that I downloaded. Because they are all messed up with numbers and dashes instead of them being under the correct artist and album art it is just throwing a majority of them under unknown artist. Also how do you properly label a song so it shows up with the artist and song name? For instance a file all messed up says 03_Marylin_manson - Sweet dreams_mp3.mp3 when obviously I want the song labeled simply: Sweet Dreams under the artist Marylin Manson.

May 20, 2010I just got my phone a few days ago (Eris) and I put Mp3's on my sd card by transferring from my computer.
When I did this I made a music folder on my sd card and copied and pasted folders of artists into this music folder. Now when I go to look at all my songs in meridian it only shows the band that I first copied and pasted onto the sd card. It doesn't recognize the other songs in the other folders. The only way I can get those songs to play in meridian is by going into astro and selecting the song file and playing in the app.

Jun 6, 2010Only 9 songs show up when I open the music on my eris. I added two new songs yesterday and for whatever reason almost all of them don't show up anymore. When my phone is plugged in as a disk drive the files show up when I look through my SD card on the computer, but not on my phone. It's really pissing me off, I've tried restarting my phone multiple times, deleted those two songs I added...nothing has worked. This phone has sucked since the update was released.

Feb 24, 2010So I'm listening to my music on the Droid and notice that the songs have a varying delay between them. Sometimes its not very noticeable and other times it's almost a full second delay before the next song plays. I was wondering, what causes this? Is it the phone itself or does it have to do with the song files? On my computer there is never a delay, each song plays continuously one immediately after the other.
