I would like to set a short cut for weather and hotmail. How do I do that? I want to just scroll to the left or right from the home screen to weather or hotmail instead of going to the menu.

Can anyone recommend a weather widget that displays the current weather based on location? Preferably cell tower info instead of gps and one that only used data every set interval based on my settings so that it doesn't use data constantly.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI tap weather icon, get current location no city name and the weather info, I then tap "+" hit my location and it finds my city Corning NY, I add this to the weather app, I close out and hit weather app again and now I have to locations, the one that says current location and the one that says Corning NY, both weather datas are the same. My question is how to I delete or get rid of the current location weather data screen and have only the Corning NY screen when I open the weather app? The data for both is the same but I don't want 2 locations(one named) for the same data.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo since the 2.1 OTA my weather widget will display the city, but no weather icon. if i sync it manually, it will show up. with 1.5 it would update every 3 hours, regardless if i had Background data on or off (i normally keep it off).
so now with 2.1 it wont sync unless i have BG data on, or do it manually. any way around this?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI tried removing it and adding it back about ten times and it still won't show the weather..just says "my location" under the clock. If I click on the clock and load it, I can then click on the clock and it will load the weather screen, updated and all...but it still refuses to load it on the home screen with the time. Happened a few days after froyo update. How can I get the weather back as part of the clock widget??

Mine worked for a day and now I get the location but no weather update.
All other locations display all info fine.
Im in Australia on Vodafone - although from the previous mentioned thread seems to be software related rather than carrier location
So I got the 2.2 Update. If I try adding the News & Weather widget, the weather is always wrong. Always has the sun on all night and temperature is wrong too. I checked all options of course, should work fine. Has anyone else encountered this?

It also used to update the weather every hour and show a sun in the day and a moon at night but now even at 12 at night it still shows the sun. I've also set the weather sync in settings to update ever hour. does anyone know what it could be thats different in my phone now?

It keeps saying when i refresh weather info unavailable. IS anyone else having this problem? This just started happening yesterday morning prior to that i had no problems with it. The news portion is working fine.

Maybe it's just my imagination but ever since I started using the Weather Channel app it seems like my battery doesn't last as long. Does anyone know if it uses more battery juice than Weather Bug? I was going to download Weather Bug again to compare the two but I can't seem to find the free version any more.

Does anybody know the latest radio version that CM will work with? They say "install the latest radios" but I have no clue where/what radios those are. Hopefully that will be something to help me.

Like it skips the last 2 minutes of the song, and moves on to the next one. It seemed like it happened a bunch of times one day, but I haven't had it happen again but once or twice. Whats up?

In the midst of customizing my phone I'm trying to make a Short Cut to "Add to Home Screen" but I can't figure it out.
I'm using FolderOrganizerLite to do this btw...and I also have Any Cut and am using LauncherPro.
I would also like a customized icon with this shortcut
I noticed that the vibration on the evo is pretty weak and it makes the phone feel weird. It's only a very short and soft vibration, unlike the hero. I'm not sure if this is just how the phone was built because I don't know anyone else that has an Evo I can check.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWell lately my battery life has been horrid. If I am lucky I get 7-8 hours. That's with little to no internet use and just texting. Like now I'm at 70% and my phones been unplugged for 1 hour and all I have done is text a little and browse Facebook via the app for a little. I'm using BB .4 with the stock kernel. I was gettin better battery life than this before.
