I rooted and flashed the latest Fresh ROM last night. Everything worked fantastic until about an hour ago I started getting this error: Data Call Failure Error Code 67 .Registration failure. Your PCS Vision username and/or password may be incorrect. Please try again.
I saw some other threads upon googling but they were for other devices and I'm a bit nervous that I'll screw things up.

Yahoo Connection Error, Facebook connection error, gmail connection error. All of a sudden I am not getting any data to my phone. Only over WiFi is it working. What is going on?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I rooted a week or so ago. Didn't flash any new ROMs or anything, just deleted some bloatware and set up wireless tethering. Right away I noticed the data connection going up and down a lot. Then a few days ago I started periodically getting a black popup with this: When I get it, I just hit "dismiss" and so far, everything goes back to working normally at that point. Still, it's a little disconcerting. Anyone else gotten this popup or had their data connection messed with by rooting?

I'm having some problems with an error message I'm getting from the Facebook application that came with the phone. The message im getting is "an error has occurred while fetching data [malformedJSon]". This is when I go to new feeds. Anyone else having this issue or know how to resolve it?

However this code runs well when I connected to either the operator internet Or to a Wi-fi network. But when I'm connected to the operator but without credit and no internet the mobile also sees it as there's internet,or even connected to a Wi-fi network but without internet gateway it also sees as if it's connected to the internet.
Why when I use goggles does it nearly everytime give me a try again connection error. I haven't got it work once and everytime the picture comes out blurry.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to login to my app via ldap directory. If its possible to login there, you can go on using the app. For the LDAP connection I'm using the UnboundID lib. I know this is working, cause i've done this for a BlackBerry app too and it was only a few lines of codes.

I also tried to reach the site by using the emulators browser. But there I got following error: HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to server configuration favoring an alternate authentication method.
I have no clue how to solve this problem or why I get this error.
I successfully set up a work email account as my default email address but have not been able to send/receive email. I keep receiving a "connection error". I'm sure my settings are correct (POP3, port 110; outgoing port 25) and I have the "secure connection" box unchecked. I do have mail.domain name for the SMTP address.

I have Facebook for HTC Sense setup in my "Accounts & Sync" section. When I hit the SYNC NOW button there, it seems to sync ok.
However, when I open the PEOPLE program, and select the ONLINE DIRECTORIES and then select FACEBOOK (I assume this is the HTC Sense facebook integration), it says connection error.
Is there some setting I'm missing somewhere?
I am attempting to upgrade my ROM from the 1.7v. I dl'd the RUU file and did everything as required. However, when the bootloader tries to connect I get a prompt, "ERROR[171]:USB Connection ERROR". It asks me to make sure that the phone is connected to the USB cable and for the USB cable to be connected to the PC. Both are connected but I noticed that the phone is powered off. It will not power back on while connected. It will once I disconnect it from USB cable. This leads me to believe that the phone starts to do what it is supposed to but somehow disconnects.

Can someone explain why my screen has to be infested with this popup every few moments and how I can disable it?
Basically I am having issues with my schools email account. I have it setup via an imap account. Everything works great over wifi. The problem however is once I switch over to 3g.
Once I switch to 3g I am still able to receive emails just fine the problem occurs when I try to send an email. Basically it just sits in the outbox and says connection error. I tried using K-9 to see if that would help but it's still a no go k-9 gives me an error message every time I try resend the email.
So is there some setting or something I am missing that could be causing this problem? Currently I just have my schools email forwarding to my gmail account which is ok but sucks when I go back to my desktop and emails I deleted are still there and unread.
I've been trying to get the official 2.1 update on my phone, but everytime I do, I keep getting the 170 error, which is an error connection from my USB port. I know that the USB ports are fine because other flash drives work fine, plus my phone shows as connected on my PC. I already tried rebooting my PC and phone the RUU software still wont recognize my phone and just tells that there's an error connection. I already tried mounting my phone from the phone settings...

i have tried following fixes but still its showing no connection (but i'm browsing and using facebook at the same time)
1. date and time fix (date and time are accurate).
2. cleared google play app cache.
3. deleted my google account then again signed in.
4. uninstalled recent updates.
its still showing no connection
I am getting an error message when I try to move pictures or videos off of my GN2 on to my pc using a USB connection.
In file manager I open up the phone drive and then my SD card. I see and select the files I want to copy over. When I drag and drop them from the phone into the new folder on my PC an error comes up that "the requested resource is in use." It won't even let me move them to a new file folder on the phone.
I install cm 10.1 with stock Google play 3x. I don't like the way android does updates of system apps and keep 2 copies of apps in system and data, so I go to play store apps settings, uninstall updates and use link2 SD to uninstall stock versions too.
Now I download Google play 4x apk and install as user apps, it give me no connection error
How do I fix this? Tried wipe and restart
I had this problem before when trying to install Google play as user apps so it van updates it self without shadow copy but haven't managed to make it work, have to fixed via restore to stock or reflash
Is there anyway I can make it run as user apps, or deal with this shadow copies? I can't integrate updates all the time

And I am sure the computer running the JVM is still online.Restarting the emulator seems to fix the issue but it's been a major PITA for me as it interrupts the work flow.I am using 2.1 SDK 7.

However, within the last day, I've been getting an error message which reads "Connection Failed: This application requires network access. Enable mobile network or Wi-Fi to download data." I've gotten this message when initiating the browser, going into email, etc. Of course, I can't access anything via the web.
When I go to settings, mobile network is checked off, although it does say "turning on..."
I was just wondering if anyone solved this problem. Googling gives tons of posts having this question but not one with a proper reply. I tried literally every combination of the following two pieces of code with and without proxy:

I am trying to connect to a site on my intranet (its not localhost). I've tried the following:
Setting Proxy inside Eclipse settings. Setting my own localhost and writing a small php script that takes the url, connects to it and then gets the file from the intranet site - This works from the Browser though! It does not work when I use the 10.0.2.2 IP address
My wi fi isn't working it has found our connection ever since I turned it on now it doesn't. I am sitting right next to the computer but it cannot find it. I uninstalled 360 camera because that is the last app I installed. It was working fine untill I did the update. Than it did a force close a couple of times. That was yesterday than when I turned my phone on this morning it can not find the connection and the letter icon that shows you have mail is not up in the left hand corner of the phone. I really don't want to do a factory reset if I can help it.
