HTC Droid Eris :: How To Get Live Wallpapers For Eris?
Jun 29, 2010Is there anyway to get Live Wallpapers on the Eris? It's one of my favorite 2.1 features. I'd be willing to root my phone if I had to, but, I want Live Wallpapers. I looked through the Android Market, and found some, but most were only single background ones that weren't appealing, and had no ratings. PS, A bit of an off topic, but, is there a good replacement for the Sense UI's lock screen?

Apr 21, 2010I'm rooted on the newest 2.1 leak, and running helix launcher and i use the nexusmod live wallpaper. I'll make it my wallpaper, lock my phone, and when i unlock my phone my old wallpaper is back, with nexusmod not active. How can I fix this? It's driving me nuts!

Apr 22, 2010Ok so i just rooted my eris, and got it to the eris21official-root, there are a few things that i really want and i was wondering if i have to do an add or what to make these work from here.
-Live wallpapers
-Nexus launcher
-a better looking photo gallery viewer, im stuck at the stock crap one
-a better music player same reason as above
-and last is a better lock screen, i really liked the one that had the slient button and the lock on the same dial and it was just which way you spun it

Jan 23, 2010I saved some wallpapers/backgrounds from the backgrounds app to my sd card. When I saved them, it said "saved to sd card in backgrounds directory(I think or maybe file?). I spent about 2 hours trying to find it---drained my battery doing it(battery still doing much better though--lasted 12 hours today with very, very heavy usage!).
I did see there are some apps to manage your sd card, but am thinking surely I can access it w/out one?

Jan 30, 2010The only choices allowed for lock screen wallpaper are from my photo album, once I went to a configured theme/scene for the home screen. How can I get the stock wallpaper I use for the theme/scene I have to also be the wallpaper for the lock screen? It seems stuck on the photo I used and the only choices offered in the menu are from the photo album I made.

On a daily basis I will toggle between 4 different home screens, 3 different music players, 4 different internet browsers various wallpapers, various weather widgets. I'm sure if I was able to settle one having the same layout on a daily basis I wouldn't be charging my phone 2 times a day.

Mar 31, 2010My 2.1 update got pushed through this morning and I immediately set a Live Wallpaper on my desktop. I have found that the wallpeprs don't "stick" when I turn the screen off and then turn it back on, it defaults back to the wallpaper I had set prior to changing it to the Live Wallpaper, or the screen just has a black background. At first I thought it maybe Live Wallpaper was conflicting with my Locale app, so I disabled it, but it's still doing it after.
