HTC Eris :: Creating A Shortcut For 1 Group In Contacts?
Nov 5, 2010Is is possible to create a shortcut to or even a folder that contains only one "group" from contacts? For example a shortcut to "family" or "co-workers". Or a folder with only your "friends" group? The add to home shortcut screen does not offer this option.

Jul 21, 2010I have a group on gmail called coworkers. I added many of the employees in my company as contacts. I am now running Launcher Pro as well for what that is worth. I found the option to check coworkers as a group, but I can't figure out how to associate or move the employee contacts under that group. What am I missing? Or am I going about this the wrong way entirely?

Apr 21, 2010I'm currently only testing things in an emulator due to not having an Android device as of yet. I'm honestly holding out for some of the new 1 Ghz machines to come out and do some comparisons. Anyway, I would imagine one would easily be able to make whatever folders they choose on an sd card, but on the emulated one, I can only seem to push entire folder contents or single files to the root. The adb help doesn't appear to have a command to make a folder. Is this not possible, or am I just missing something?

Motorola Droid :: Starred Contacts Folder
Feb 3, 2010I have 4 contacts starred to show up in this folder.The problem is that no matter what I do, my wifes contact information works the first time I open the folder and click on her name, but after that it never brings up her info. It will either bring up the phone logs, the last person whos info i clicked on, etc. Anything BUT her info.
Driving me nuts.I have removed and imported all contacts, unstarred everyone then restarred them, etc and nothing fixes it.
HTC Droid Eris :: Calendar Now Creating Events For Weather
Oct 6, 2010I just reset my phone (while rooting and installing xtrSENSE). I'm now noticing that there are calendar events being created for the weather forecast of the upcoming 4-5 day. This never happened before.I have the calendar settings set to show the weather on the calendar view, but this just puts the weather in the bottom of the window. I like this.I also have weather set to sync in the sync settings, but I'm assuming this is for the weather widget on the home screen which I also like using.I don't like seeing all of the days showing events when there really aren't any.

Dec 15, 2009I logged in to my gmail and needed to send email and it wouldn't suggest contacts anymore. I went into contacts and all of them gone except the ones that only had email field filled in. The groups that i created are there but no contacts.
I went into my phone and google contacts are there but they won't sync, errors out with "sync is temporary down".
All this creates another problem for me, I have phone contacts and google contacts in my Eris. Phone contact are synced to PC and all is good but I need my google contact in my gmail so I can email people and I have no way of putting them back to gmail and don't even know how to back them up.

Jun 26, 2010when I'm at the phone screen and hit menu/people/groups icon(multiple cards) you have the option to "add group" at the top or hit menu again and 2 options appear: Add Group or Delete Group. Either of these options are not functional. They don't work. It seems that HTC forgot to add functionality for this. Does anyone have a solution for this?
