I downloaded the Backgrounds App and found really cool background that I really like. I'd like to save the file so I can change it to a different background but go back to my current background later. Does anyone know where the file saves to?

I recently recieve my first email with an attachment on my Eris. It was a PDF file, I was able to open and view it. I cannot find a way to save it. Do I have to archive the email and go about getting it that way every time?
View 2 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know how to save a text msg. containing a .mp3 file as a ringtone. I had an Env2 and was able to send and receive text msg's with .mp3 and save them as ringtones but can't figure it on my new Android.
I'm sure this has been addressed, but I can't find where...I want to save an audio file a guy sent me via SMS...but can't figure out how...Is there an app? Or am I missing something?

I have a locally saved HTML file with extension .HTML, which I had pulled from my Drop Box account, but I can never open it properly. Using Estranges, I just get a "cannot load" or something-or-other page. However, if I go to the stock browser and input file:/// plus the path... no problems. Any ideas as to the problem here? View 1 Replies View RelatedI notice certain games or applications. I download end up running in the background. Once I open up the "advanced task manager" or a free one I kill all the applications running and I notice over time or an hour the application come back up as running in the background? Any way to kill them any make them not come back? Just trying to get the phone to run smoother.
Also I have handcent SMS and notice that the regular messenger still is running even after I force close it it's still running. I can't un-install the normal messenger. Is there a way to get handcent SMS to be default or make that one run only and have the other one never run in the background?
Is there an app that does this, or do I have to do it with HTC sync, because I don't really know how to do the latter option.

Don't press and hold on the picture attachment, press and hold on the whole message. You will see that the message and the attachment will highlight green and a screen will pop up.

This is the message I get when I try to take pictures. I have only taken 9 shots so far. There was no problem until yesterday when i tried to take the tenth. Did I do something to cause this? I am not that tech smart
Lately I've been noticing that some apps are running in the background when I've not opened them. Footprints, Voice dialer, Messages (I use handcent), Peep and Music are the ones I've noticed and (coincidentally) are all apps I don't use. I only notice them when using Advanced Task Killer and have to kill them. It's a new issue so is it possible another app I downloaded recently is to blame? Am i maybe just insane?
