Have just installed the "C:GEO" application to my Desire.
Whenever I click the "Caches Nearby" button, it displays "Sorry, c:geo failed to download caches because of wrong login informations."
I have since been back to the geocaching website, have double-checked my credentials and re-entered my username and password into c:geo, but to no avail.

The issue is with the stock sms app that comes with Android, recently it's been displaying the sms' in the wrong order, for example, this is how the convo went: Me Her Me Her Me Her etc. as one should expect, but it turned out like this: Me Me Her Me Her Her Her. It's not threading the messages correctly, anyone else experiencing this issue?

I moved all my user apps to the sd card using Titanium Backup , and now none of them work .When I open viber , It gives me this massage " unforunately, com.viber.voip has stopped" . And some apps say "application is not installed" . I tried to move them back to internal stoarege but nothing happend . Is there anyway to fix this , or should I factory rest the phone ?!!!

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just picked up a refurbished AT&T Galaxy S3 (i747) and it appears to have the T-Mobile (T999) bootloader for some reason.Putting a T-Mobile sim in registers on the network and for some reason I get H+, which I didn't think was possible with the I747 AT&T model. Don't have an AT&T sim to test with at the moment.I've tried flashing the I747 4.1.2 bootloader but I get different error messages depending on which recovery I use to flash it.
My primary concern right now is how can I fix this boot loader issue so I can get a more recent rom like AOKP 4.4 on it?
As you may all know Desire has nearly 150mb internal memory for applications so I'm doing my best to use it wisely,
My problem occured when I start to install and uninstall many applications just for testing. I've seen that every installed and uninstalled application leaves some files that fills up this 150mb.
At my phone I had, CoPilot live + Several games + Google Earth. Now I've none and but when I try to install CoPilot or Google Earth I'm facing the fact that there is no space left.
I think applications might be leaving installer file behind when applications installed through HTC Sync, this might be the only logical reason.
Was trying to root my samsung galaxy tab 3 sm-t110 using a method for the sm-t210 and the root didnt fully work so its not even rooted and when I boot it up it says sm-t210 with a caution icon. I know there is no update for my device (jellybean 4.2) but when I search for one it says I cant get one because my device is modified. How to delete the sm-t210 driver or whatever I even did or how to root my sm-t110 if its rooted I dont mind no updates but its not even rooted aaa and I cant update.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create a "registration on my application" activity with only the user having to insert his name and email.
I want to add this values to my server database. Which is already working fine, The user inserts the name and email and android sends a http request to a php on my server and the php inserts this values in the database.
The thing is.. I'd like this to happen only once and by this I mean if the user has registed with that cellphone the device would remember it and just go to another activity but keeping thoose 2 values available to use.
Is this possible to do? Maybe my application access the device preferences or something like that.. or should I build besides a register, a login page for the user to login and make the validation on the server side?
Anyone has any tutorial on this or something to get me started?
I managed to create the logic for the function but I have no idea how to match it with the database. I only know how to do it the hardcoding way.
Below is how I did it. I believe an sql statement should be inserted there am I right? And I know I missed out something. Before I match the username and password, I should check whether the user exist in the database first, and then check whether the password match with the username.
So in conclusion I need help on the 'if else' statement.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've downloaded a few networking apps (games) that have you log in, then take you to a "home" type screen where you can change your settings, or start a new game, or view your buddies etc.My question is two-part:
1) how are these "multipanel" apps created? Is each panel its own activity? I've tried adding different panels through Views, but on the apps I described above, when I hit the back button on my phone, it takes me to the previous screen and in my apps, it just takes me out of the app when I hit back (again I'll I've done are add separate views). Can someone point me in the right direction of what I need to do to create a multipanel application that when I click a button, a new panel loads, then when I hit back on the phone, it takes me to the previous panel?
2) one of my panels will be a login page which I will post the log-in credentials via http post to my server for authentication. I would like to remember the log-in "token" that is passed back to the client so they don't have to log in every time they use my application. Again, referring to some of the apps that I have, they offer this feature but I can not locate anything on the phone where it would be saved. Is this done with xml usually?

In order to authenticate my users, I need to pass an authentication token along to the application's login address (http://myapp.appspot.com/%5Fah/login?auth=...) and grab a cookie from the header of the response. However, the login page responds with a redirect status code, and I don't know how to stop HttpClient from following the redirect, thus thwarting me from intercepting the cookie.
Fwiw, the actual method I use to send the request is below. How would I stop the client from following the redirect?

Did the latest update and ever since I cannot log Into Facebook whilst connected to mobile data. IF I try via WiFi it works fine. Even if I use the browser instead of the app it reports that I'm trying to connect with an ip address that's associated with 'abuse'.

I'll click on messages for example and it will open up something else I had open hours ago like gallery or my outlook email exchange. I close the incorrect program with the back key or the home key and try again and it repeatedly does it. :/ I'm starting to think I have a dodgy handset because no one else seems to be having this problem.Am I closing programs wrong in the first place? I use the home key to close them most of the time.Anyone else had this glitch?
