The Only App I Can Download Is ShootMe, But That's It. If I Try To Download Dolphin Browser, It Does This.
I know it's not just me...see link. Google's customer service is non-existent.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have rooted the phone and did not have a problem with installing apps. I deleted myspace and talk. a few days later when i download an app its stuck at starting download it just hangs there. Of course I though I backed up before I deleted anything and didn't. So I though a hard reset would fixed but didn't and removed all the apps I had installed.

View 12 Replies View RelatedLast night I tried to download some apps from the Android Market. It doesn't seem to want to let me have anything any more. It'll bring up the progress bar and says "Starting download..." below it, but never gets any further than that. I've tried clearing the cache already with no luck.

View 11 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I noticed that the Social Networking app was not updating. I couldn't find any setting to sync it manually, so I figured maybe a factory reset would do the trick. So....after I did the reset, I noticed that none of my apps were downloading. They all said "downloading" but nothing was happening. So I ended up just restoring from a nandroid backup I did before the reset. Im glad to say that the Social Networking is updating now, but apps are still not downloading . I went to settings/applications/market and cleared the data and rebooted. Still nothing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just installed CM7 on my Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5839i. Everything is working fine except downloading apps, every time I try I get the error "App could not be downloaded due to an error (429)".
I tried this fix:
1. adb shell
2. su
3. mkdir /cache/download
4. chown system:cache /cache/download
5. chmod ug+rwx /cache/download
6. chmod a+x /cache/download
But ADB tells me that the filesystem is read-only when I try to make the download directory in cache.
Anyone else having problems with the market tonight? Never had any problems before but can't download anything tonight. Keep getting download paused and download unsuccessful messages.

View 6 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden apps stopped being able to be downloaded or updated from the market place. They just stay on the 'starting download...' status which is rather irritating. I've tried clearing cache and resetting the market and know i've a master reset as a last chance option but has anyone any ideas before I do this?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWell im looking to get an android device soon, and after some searching around i came across this link:
Supported locations for distributing applications - Android Market Help
which doesnt list my country (cyprus). I basically cant download free or paid apps from the market
So is my only choice to download the .apk file from the net and put it on my SD card? Is there any other way? Also will the market app "recognize" which apps i have installed?
Where can I find the .apk files from the apps I've bought?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my new phone yesterday but cannot get applications from Market to download.
Here is what I do:
I select the app I want from Market and select 'Install'
Then I select 'ok'
Then a blue box reads 'Your item will be downloaded'
When I go into the Downloads section, the status bar isnt doing anything and it reads 'starting download' below it.
But nothing ever downloads or even partially downloads.
My phone was working fine and I had downloaded numerous apps with no problems. All of a sudden, when I tried to download apps, they would just be stuck, saying "downloading..." for days.
When searching for a fix for this problem, I was told to clear the Google Apps Cache & login again to clear the problem. I did this and it did not fix the problem. It actually wouldn't let me connect to the market apps at all anymore. So, I searched for a solution to this new problem. The best option was to do a factory reset...which i did.
After the reset, I could not get the market apps to download. Every time I click install on an app, I get the Download Unsuccessful error...please try again. I searched solutions and tried to set up a new google account per those solutions. This still did not fix the problem. I still cannot download anything.
Now I have a reset phone, with no apps! Very frustrating. It seems like I lost all of my data and made it worse.
Anyone else having an issue with the android market? I can download and update free apps with no problem, but I suddenly can't download paid apps. (And no my credit card did not get declined ).
I successfully purchase the app, I got the e-mail that the purchase went through, then it hangs at "authorizing purchase". Specifically, I'm having this issue right now with Vignette.
Everytime I try to download an app, it just stays on the "starting download" screen with the flowing bar. Nothing happens! Sometimes it says unable to download or something similar. I've updated to 2.2 on T-Mobile and dont remember ever having this problem before. It's really frustrating.
I currently cannot download anything, either via wi-fi or Mobile network.
I cannot download anything from the android market, it goes to start & then just stops & just shows starting download...what can i do to sort this...plus i keep getting a notifiication saying google talk authentication failed ( this is only just started since i changed from googlmail.com to gmai.com.
View 6 Replies View RelatedUp Until two days ago the market app worked fine then for no apparent reason now only goes as far as starting download and goes no further. I have enen tried a factory reset losing everything but it still wont download anything. This is the same over wifi or 3g. Any one got any ideas? Does yours still work?
View 14 Replies View RelatedCan anybody help me? I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and the Market App will not allow me to download new apps. It just says 'Download was unsuccessful,I have tried to Clear the Data in Download Manager, but it didn't work.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI noticed today that the "downloads" section within Market no longer shows any of the free apps that I downloaded-only the two apps that I paid for are shown. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a way to bring this list back? A soft reset did not help.
