we have a phone that is not declining calls correctly while it is locked. It is a Motorola phone, i think it is a droid. When it receives a call, it rings and you have to drag the little ring up to either answer or decline the call. Even when it is dragged to decline, it will answer.
the same does not happen when it is unlocked, because then it is given answer and decline buttons and he can just hit decline and it works.

So, the slide to answer / decline "feature" on my EVO is driving me crazy. I keep the phone in my pocket. When I go to answer it, it will generally auto answer or auto decline a phone a call. Is there a replacement screen for this? I'm rooted, so I could go with a different ROM if needs be? Or a mod or something? I've seen other people talk about it - but with no resolution.

Other times, I don't get these options and only a choice to slide the screen to unlock to answer. This has been annoying, sometimes difficult to answer, and at times I have missed calls. I read in another post that I can simply click the: Green button / Red Button on the phone to answer or send to voicemail.
Question: Why is it that on some calls I get the Accept / Decline and on other calls I don't? I'm not sure if it has something to do with calls numbers matching my contact list vs. unknown numbers. Sometimes I get it, other times I don't. Is there a way to set my phone to get: Accept / Decline every time?
I rebooted the phone, opened up task panel and it showed over 100mb RAM on the top bar, after a couple of days, whenever I kill all apps, the total cleared RAM went down slowly and now it goes to max 70mb. What happened to the 30mb of RAM I was getting before?
View 8 Replies View RelatedWell I finally put my phone on the charger with 11% battery life yet. It was off of the charger for a little more than 42 hours! I have never had this kind of battery life before. Last night I was at 67% and figured there is no reason to place it on the charger, woke to it at 54%. I used my phone as normal; email, texting, calling, market, games. I really don't know why I had such good battery life. I keep my SetCPU at 767 performance when in use and charge and sleep mode are the same at 480.

I hit the Decline button which is supposed to send the call directly to VM, but it only made the screen go away. I kept getting the beep notification that another call was trying to get through and then the choppy dial tone hang up signal after the call eventually made it to VM.

The screen doesnt light up and no options for receiving calls. This happened before I installed Google voice. I disabled Google voice and still no joy. Everything else works. If I block in the default "People" app will it do this or do I need an app for this (no pun intended). I just need to know if the default people blocking will send a call to voicemail instead of ringing? Will it also block text msgs if blocked in People? I would test this out myself but unfortunately that's not an option. I only have one phone here, my cell, so I can't test from another number here at home.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S4 on android 4.3 Recently i tried to make multiple phone calls and when in the call i haven't been able to hear the person on the other end and they cant hear me (This also happens when i receive a call) however when my friend calls me over skype on my phone the speaker and mic is working perfectly fine and we can talk
the only thing i can think of is that recently i hooked up my bluetooth headset to my phone and made a phone call to a friend and since then i haven't been able to hear anyone when making a phone call

The downside I see to it is that when you are running it the phones radio is turned off so you can't receive calls or texts also the phone UI is some proprietary Fujitsu software. So for instance - if I wanted to, I could wake up my mac remotely using my phone, and start having a conversation with anyone who happened to be near my computer as if I had called a phone number. I could activate video streaming from my phone to my computer or from my computer to my phone if I wanted to, all controlled by my phone to my computer or vice versa
So it's sort of like skype, but only between my phone and the computer, and I can activate it even when my laptop is closed using ssh wake on demand or whatever.
After using a CL purchased At&T Galaxy S3 for 14 days, the phone now says "Phone not allowed MM#6", and does not allow any calls.
I verified the IMEI number with T-Mobile and AT&T and the number is not Blacklisted / Reported Stolen (had to confirm this before I tried anything). AT&T even gave me an unlock code for the phone (no use, as the phone is already unlocked through UMTS/Debug Screen/......./Network Lock settings).I have also refreshed the IMEI data.
