General :: Can't Find ROM For PIPO S1s And Fastboot Menu

1) I'm looking for a ROM for my tablet PIPO S1s and I can't find.
2) I've seen how many people go to fastboot mode using volume + or - and the power, but I can't do that on PIPO S1s. Of course there are programs for windows that you can do upgrade or everything else, but I want to see the recovery e.g ClockworkMod and do the upgrade or changing of ROM from that. Is it possible or the only way you can do that is via windows

I have "Android SDK tools" and "Android SDK Platform-tools" installed using the SDK Manager, and fastboot is nowhere to be found.The new r14 SDK seems to be missing this tool, what the replacement is?

1st off, I am brand new to Android, have had this phone for 1 day.
All instructions I find say 1 of 2 things, either tap and hold the home screen until I see a "+add widgets", or swipe left to right until I see the menu button. I also read that the menu button should look like 3 vertical bars.
Tapping and holding the home screen only gives me options to add wallpapers, nothing else. I cannot find anything like a menu button. When I go into settings I can find nothing that has to do with adding widgets.
How to find this menu button, what the icon for menu will look like?

I Bought the PIPO M9 PRO tablet with android 4.2.2 operating system.When I started to work with the device I noticed that I can't configure the vibration feature.Usually you turn on the feature in: setting �sound-vibrate on touch, But in this device the line is missing.Could it be that this device doesn't have this feature at all? Or maybe it's a problem with this version of the operating system?

With my Pipo M6 Pro tablet i am unable to get some of the movies to play on at a good enough volume.
I've encountered this problem with windows and have had to down sample the audio in the WMPC settings in order to hear the sound at a good level through out the whole film.
What i would need to do in order to get a good loud playback with movies and what movie player would be suggested? I've just purchased the latest MX Player.
The video closes within a minute of watching it for some strange reason.... Does this on every video i watch.

The screen is great and it is the fastest android phone i have used to date. I was a bit worried about the Samsung ui but it is integrated very nicely. I cannot find the menu area to see what the actual processor is.

In Android 1.6 and higher, this menu XML inflates and runs fine. But when run in 1.5 I get an error about a resource not found. I find that when I remove the @drawable/menu_preferences from the XML in 1.5 it works fine. Is there a 1.5 work around I can do to get the image to work? EDIT: The image is in the drawable-mdpi folder........

how to flash a kernel using fastboot on os X. Therefore I've decided to add a new post about that on XDA for those who want/need to use fastboot on mac os X. Example given for a Sony Xperia ARC LT15i. This should work for any SE device but will need different vendor ID value for another Brand.
Installation
- Download and extract Android SDK (let's say on the Desktop for the rest of the explanation)
- Add "Android SDK Platform-Tools" with android SDK Manager
- Download fastboot for mac here http:[url]....
- extract it in android-sdk/platform-tools/
Configuration
Next you need to update the PATH for tools/ and platform-tools/ folder.
- Open Terminal app and type

- Add the following two lines and change the (username) with the name of your mac os X account name :

i have root access, and full adb, but i cant get fast boot even with adb commands. i attempted to flash a faulty a20 tablet i had via sd install. and i obviously had a damaged flash, anyhow it wiped the tablet clean, the backlight still lights up. i can turn it on and off, and i can boot the boot loader.
is there anyway out of this, i want to install a recovery, but with no flashboot....

I have had my GNex since it was released. However, I just got a new computer. I am trying to set up everything again on my new computer. I got the drivers working to a certain extent. I can get adb to work, however fastboot does not work.
How to get fastboot working?
Screenshot showing adb clearly works prior to bootloader, but it stops working after going into bootloader. It seems to lose connection to my phone once it is in the bootloader. I tried this multiple times.

My phone's usb works pretty much perfect, adb and the usb storage are working (HTC One M7). But when i do "adb reboot-bootloader" the pc just says "the usb device fails to enumerate or something like that. Everything works except for Fastboot and i dont know why. Has it something to do with Win 8.1? I never tried it on another machine before.
