General :: Xperia E - Black Screen When Playing Games

I recently bought Minecraft, downloaded Angry Birds Go and Injustice Gods Among Us on My Xperia E!
All the above when I start them they only show black screen with sound, I can click on things but no picture.
When Running Injustice Phone says, app is not responding , Wait or Close!
Injustce comes up with loading screen and the superman screen but after that it is a black screen!
I have tried rebooting, reinstalling, clearing all sorts and my phone is upto date!
I am also Running V6 Supercharger wich is awsome and makes my phone lag free!
Just once Minecraft started to work, when I deleted both folders in games > minecraft (On the SD Card).

in some apps (such as VLC, Flash player, the stock video player, etc), there appears to be a small black bar at the bottom where the status bar usually is (even if it's hidden, there's still a black bar). I've had a research and saw a solution app called 'full!screen', however I have no way of rooting the device (It's an Android TV box with no USB output, only input). My current solution is to use MX Player, but it doesn't play 1080p videos properly, so I'd really prefer VLC at this point.

I am trying to get the movie th ehangover on my phone. I bought it on itunes and have aimersoft coverter and tried converting it to M-PEG4 and it kind of halfway worked. I got the audion to play but, the picture was just a black screen.

My Xperia arc (LT15i) runs CM 10. Whenever I switch camera mode to panorama the camera screen goes black although the capture button and switch camera tab are still there.

I have a problem with front camera doesn't work for me. When i choose to front camera so The screen is black and show me massage: the gallery doesnt work and then show message not connecting ro camera. It doesn't work on all rom.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not work. When I turn front camera so the camera is crashed but when I do restart. It working for a moment...after Doesnt work. R800i

This was reported in the other thread about X8 Issues, but thought to start a new one to gather feedback from users. It's about the ''black screen'' freezing issue encountered by some users. I have had this several times since owning the phone for a few weeks, so it is a recurring issue. Problem: The phone hangs or appears to be shut down or become unresponsive suddenly. Pressing the hardware buttons doesn't help as the phone doesn't react at all. Solution: Take out cover and battery and restart.Observations: From my own observations, it's not actually a shutdown but a major freezing/hanging. Sometimes when it happens, I can still see vague shades of the display at an angle. After leaving the phone for a while in the pocket, the phone comes back to normal again. Not sure if this is true for all users with this problem. Anyway, gathering more feedback to see how prevalent the problem is, to evaluate whether I should take it to the SE service centre, or whether doing so will help at all.

I have compiled android eclair version 2.1 on my htc sapphire 32A and everything works great up to playing videos. When I ran playing a any video on device, android player starts and I see only black screen. Sound is working properly, but something happens when bites from video are copied to share memory with kernel. I'm using an off-brand device which's resolution is [FWVGA (854x480) pixels]. I bought Need For Speed Shift from Play Store,installed and downloaded the data(approx. 100 MB).But when I opened the game, everything's white and grey,only the music and some of the texts are fine but everything else is like invisible.No cars,roads or terrains.
I contacted with EA and they suggested me to change the game's resolution in the option, but as I can't see anything, I can't do it.I replied them with it but it's been 3 days and no answer from them.
As I'm using Android 4.2.1(JB) I can't use ChainFire 3D.
Change the resolution settings in your game and give me the settings file or is there any way to change the resolution option manually by editing the data files?

Does anyone else find the track ball a bit laggy when playing games? I find it to be slightly behind my action, when compared to a D-pad "+". I'm really wishing the G1 had some form of arrow keys or D-pad.

I recently rooted my revo and never really done a lot to it but uninstalled a lot of bloatware that I had found in these forums as being safe to remove. My problem is that the other night I went to download a new runner game and noticed that it wouldn't work, just sound no screen. So I tried to play Temple Run 2 which had worked previously, now it no longer would play. Naught no longer played either, I just then downloaded several of the 100 series games and they won't play as well. What I may have uninstalled that is causing this to happen and how I can fix it?

I have noticed that, while playing games on my Xperia V, the game process itself drains less battery than the Mediaserver (=audio playback) process.
Even when I completely mute the device's sound - Strange, because no sound is playing but the Mediaserver still eats up my battery. I wonder if this issue is caused by my Xperia somehow still using CPU for audio playback despite the audio is muted. is there a way to reduce or prevent this and improve my gaming battery life?

First of all this is minor Bug, but still - BUG! There is phone configuration description:
Phone: Xperia X10i
FW: android 2.1
patterns - default slider + unlock pattern
Bug description
1) When phone is locked, press home or power button.
2) move slider, to be able to draw pattern.
3) Start to draw pattern and wait till screen goes black (do not remove your finger). So your pattern is not finished and screen has gone black. Try to remember place of the finger.
4) Press home or power button again.
5) Finish unlock pattern from place you was, when screen turned black.
6) Your phone is unlocked!
So, if you did not finished your pattern and your screen have gone black you might think, that the phone locked, but this is not true. Your Phone can be Quite Easily unlocked in the Pocket.

Just got an x10 I convert and move mpeg4 videos to the phone. The videos play fine however they are not full screen in landscape. Instead in landscape mode they are more square shaped videos.
How can i play videos in full wide screen?
I havent downloaded any video/media player apps, im using thr default one on the x10.

My HTC One X Plus fell down recently, and has got a ' triangle flag' like mark on the top left part of the screen. (But not on the Gorilla Screen). But each day, when I see it, the black mark getting disappeared , as forming lines in the triangle flag (the original screen getting viewed through the lines).
When I try the phone screenshot option, the complete screen is captured with no black mark on it.
When I contacted the service center, they asked me to replace the screen. That is very costly
Is it really needed to replace the screen or will it get disappeared eventually?

I am running cm7.03 with lordmodue6.7 on my htc inspire 4g. I just went to look at a video on youtube and noticed that their was no visual just audio. I uninstalled it then installed, but no luck. Afterwards i decided to check all other apps that play video like vevo and same problem. I uninstalled adobe flash player then installed it, but ALSO NO LUCK =[. I then checked youtune on my browser and same problem..

I Have a galaxy note 2 n7102 (Clone).I have rooted it 2 days ago.i have the android stock boot animation but when i added a custom boot animation, when i rebooted the screen goes black and then the phone starts up
I tried to put it in system/media and data/local and change boot animation and Samsung in system/bin and reboot but nothing happens.

My Galaxy S4 screen is just completely black. I can turn on my phone and even put in my pattern code on the screen, but it remains black. I have tried to reset it multiple times and I don't really know what to do. Any possible fix without having to get a repair.

I have an HTC Droid Incredible LTE 4 and for the most part it's fabulous...
But when I'm talking on the phone the screen goes black and if I try to unlock it to schedule something in my calendar, etc., the screen just goes black over and over and won't stay active long enough for me to unlock the screen. This is exceedingly frustrating since I can't use any apps when I'm on the phone, and I have to push the button on the top to get the screen to light up at all if I'm on the phone, it doesn't automatically light up if I take it away from my ear to look at something on my phone.

My Tablet shows black screen after a while animation android logo and no more work. So I tried factory reset. But factory reset doesn't proceed to recover menu. It shows only factory reset logo (Android logo with red triangle) like screenshot.
My tab has only 3 button (power, Volume up and down). I tried both of them. But the logo doesn't move. How to factory reset?

I'm trying to build CWM for the HP Slate 7 Plus, but both touch and non-touch builds coming from the CWM Builder and manually built builds give a black screen with a few white lines when booted into recovery. The stock recovery.img I provided to the builder is valid because people were able to reflash the same recovery.img via Flashify with no issues, which is the same method used to flash the defunct CWM. I don't have the Slate 7 Plus, so I can't test things myself
The best I can do right now is debloat, deodex, and pre-root ROMs, as well as install more system apps.

! i was trying to install a new custom ROM ( C.A.M.P ) i had Cyanogenmod 10... i came to where i flash the new rom on my computer then when i wanted to fastboot reboot to install zip on phone, my computer shuts off, now when i turn my phone on it lights up black and stays like this and i cant do anything(no CWM no nothing) so i remove battery to turn off....

I was following this guide to upgrade my Sanei n10: [URL] In recovery mode I have installed the rom.zip, but after I pressed the wrong button and it turned off. Now, when I turn it on, leave the writing sanei and after few second remains on black screen.
If I try to entry in recovery mode with the vol+ button, it remains with the Android robot lying down with a red tiangolo, with no options.
What can I do to recover my tablet?
