I know this is a weird question but is it possible to play android games on pc with an emulator or something? I heard that there is an android emulator for pc so you can check out the os design and stuff like that but is it possible to install games (.apk) on it and play it?

All the above when I start them they only show black screen with sound, I can click on things but no picture.
When Running Injustice Phone says, app is not responding , Wait or Close!
Injustce comes up with loading screen and the superman screen but after that it is a black screen!
I have tried rebooting, reinstalling, clearing all sorts and my phone is upto date!
I am also Running V6 Supercharger wich is awsome and makes my phone lag free!
Just once Minecraft started to work, when I deleted both folders in games > minecraft (On the SD Card).
I'm using an off-brand device which's resolution is [FWVGA (854x480) pixels]. I bought Need For Speed Shift from Play Store,installed and downloaded the data(approx. 100 MB).But when I opened the game, everything's white and grey,only the music and some of the texts are fine but everything else is like invisible.No cars,roads or terrains.
I contacted with EA and they suggested me to change the game's resolution in the option, but as I can't see anything, I can't do it.I replied them with it but it's been 3 days and no answer from them.
As I'm using Android 4.2.1(JB) I can't use ChainFire 3D.
Change the resolution settings in your game and give me the settings file or is there any way to change the resolution option manually by editing the data files?
Does anyone else find the track ball a bit laggy when playing games? I find it to be slightly behind my action, when compared to a D-pad "+". I'm really wishing the G1 had some form of arrow keys or D-pad.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently rooted my revo and never really done a lot to it but uninstalled a lot of bloatware that I had found in these forums as being safe to remove. My problem is that the other night I went to download a new runner game and noticed that it wouldn't work, just sound no screen. So I tried to play Temple Run 2 which had worked previously, now it no longer would play. Naught no longer played either, I just then downloaded several of the 100 series games and they won't play as well. What I may have uninstalled that is causing this to happen and how I can fix it?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that, while playing games on my Xperia V, the game process itself drains less battery than the Mediaserver (=audio playback) process.
Even when I completely mute the device's sound - Strange, because no sound is playing but the Mediaserver still eats up my battery. I wonder if this issue is caused by my Xperia somehow still using CPU for audio playback despite the audio is muted. is there a way to reduce or prevent this and improve my gaming battery life?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid2 and downloaded Gameboid Lite. I then downloaded gba_bios.bin, and 2 separate versions of Pokemon Silver roms. gba_bios was selected just fine, but Silver won't run. I noticed you have to put the zipped .zip ROM, so i put both on my SD card and both are giving me the same result.
When I select the game, the screen changes, "Select ROM" at the top turns into "Gameboid Lite", and a notification in the notification area says "Gameboid Lite is running". I'm assuming this is where the game usually starts up and runs, but instead, after about 0.5-1 second, the screen goes back to Select ROM, and nothing happens, even though the notification says "Gameboid Lite is running".
I have no idea why it's not working. I downloaded a separate ROM file to see if it was a bad ROM, but same error with both. Any ideas?
Anyone else having problems? When I play ibasket or drop the phone twitches really bad. Not smooth at all.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded to 2.1 and am finding that when playing games the touchpad isn't responsive at all and is requires repeated touches to complete the one function. The games I've found this problem on so far are paper toss, toss it, angry birds, basketball shots 3d and air control lite. I had no problems with any of these games in 1.6 but now after the upgrade most of them are unplayable due to this issue. I've noticed the problem goes away in air control lite when I disable hardware acceleration in the settings. At the moment this is a big problem and pretty much makes the phone useless for playing games. Hoping someone has some advice for me. PS. My wife has same phone and I upgraded her's too with exactly the same problems.

I know that my girlfriend needs and wants a tablet(a simple one) , so I ordered a serioux visiontab s800 which will be shipped today.
I want to setup an app or if possible in another way, to play a certain song when booting the tablet. Or even after it has booted. I just want it to start playing a song all of a sudden If this is possible , I might want to start working on it asap, since I will give the gift on Thursday.
Seriously, emulation is not good for performance, but most roms running on gensoid look and play better that games developed for Android. Sonic 3 looks lovely, runs at 60fps and never stutters. It even seems to look higher rez than most Android apps.Android platformer games are nowhere near as good looking or smooth.So what the hell is going on? The hardware on top end Android phones (Desire, galaxy etc) is clearly capable.

We have a soundboard and speaker system. I would like to hook up a small PC (running either windows or Linux) to the soundboard so that whatever is playing from the computer will come through the speakers. And to control what gets played from the computer, I would like to use my Android phone.
I would consider streaming from my phone if it was reliable enough. I had first looked into streaming to the system via bluetooth - but that wasn't quite stable enough and dropped out too many times.
I have a bunch of MP3s on a windows PC shared over wifi LAN.
I want to use a old android device to plug into speakers in another room and access the shared files, search/filter and queue, play songs on the phone.
I know I could run a shoutcast server and just queue up songs on the pc but I would love to be able to use some sort of app that can scan all the shares and create a database that can be easily filtered/searched on the phone.
Apparently EA is bringing NFS to android! Engadget say it was demoed on the EVO yesterday. Are there any videos on the net of it? Also this might well mean we'll be seeing more high profile games coming to Android!
