General :: Widgets Not Working On Xolo Q800

When ever I download a widget(like a clock....not live wallpapers)....it says that I have to put it on the home screen from the widgets drawer....But the no new widgets appear in the drawer..Nor while using the stock launcher nor while using nova launcher....I have tried several widgets from different devs on the play store...but no widgets other than the pre installed ones on xolo q800 are working..I have not used any ROM, my mobile is not is rooted...Other apps like games,camera apps,social network apps etc install and work fine...but only new widgets are not...

I recently bought my new phone Xolo Q800, and it's also my first Android device.
One thing - no driver to connect my phone in USB debugging mode when I have to run my Android apps on my phone from Eclipse
I even sent an email to Xolo support, but haven't gotten any reply yet. I remember many Q800 users here talking about the phone here when it was launched.

I'm using Xolo q800. recently when i took it out from my pocket, it was turned off. so i turned it on,
the logo appeared but it directly goes to factory mode.
i can go up and down in factory mode but im not able to select anything.
Now im stuck in this factory mode and im not able to enter into user mode.
Basically its bricked now and not able to use my phone.
Tried taking out battery and re inserting it ! but no luck. Phone is stuck in Factory mode.

How to use sd memory as internal memory(Xolo q800) in root?should i root my xolo q800
Some big games like nfs mostwanted cant run due to low internal storage. Also what are the other uses of rooting a device?? My htc dream (tmobile G1) is also rooted with cyanogen mod. Can I use my sd card space for ram?and internal storage. Also how to.

My baseband version is showing unknown which means tht my phone presently has no imei num ,wifi mac address .... I tried all the methods posted on xda website to write the imei num but failed....
User "Kamal882" suggested that i should flash it with the official firmware ... Any link to the official firmware.

i accidentely erased the baseband of xolo q800 n now i have no imei num,no mac address nothing ...my sim cards are also not accessible now... I cant even send it to the customer care coz i have voided my warrenty by installing custom rom,clockwork mode,su root...

I followed the guide at [URL] to install CWM on my Xolo Q800. The process went well and I was shown the Green circle and it said "OK." The first time I boot my phone into recovery I was shown CWM. I rebooted my phone and to my surprise, it won't enter CWM. Instead I was shown the Stock Recovery.
How to fix this?

Recently I flashed my A500s mobile using the method mentioned in one of the threads here. I used mobile-uncle tools to root it. I've installed almost every ROM available here on XDA for A500s but I couldn't use my Wifi. It keeps on searching for Wifi network and/or hangs. (In some of the ROMS Camera was not installed)I'm struggling for past 3-4 days but no success. I downloaded the stock ROM too but it's not installing. It gets aborted.The CWM screen shows the headline as....

I bought a xolo q700 recently ,n i did an official software update, now proximity sensor isnt working and i dont know if it is due to the update or is it a hardware issue.. The proximity sensor is shown when I checked hardware with some app, but its not giving values... just showing waiting

recover my Xolo Q2000, i had given my cell to a friend of mine to install apps. but now it doesn't even start! when i turn it on it just shows the logo "XOLO" and then nothing happens, doesn't even boot into recovery as i tried with pressing power and both volume keys together. when i connect it to pc it just shows the battery icon, before it used to show the percentage too...
as far a i remember it had android 4.2.1 and that friend had told me he tried to install new rom or kitkat or recovery..well, i guess he just messed up and experiemented my Q2000. i just bought it a month ago.

i bought xolo q700 few days back. i have this strange issue with its display.everything is working fine and i love this phone. but when i call any number the screen goes off. i cannot see options to put it on loudspeaker and most importantly i cannot use the dialer. also i cannot be sure if i have dialed the right number. the screen just goes off. physical buttons only of volume rocker and power button and it cannot bring the display up.
is this manufacturing defect or is this something to do with display settings (i checked but couldnt find any setting regarding it). is it same with any other jb 4.2 phones?.

Problem : not able to use google+, hangout and other google apps because app tells to install "google play services" and when try to install google play service got error " incompatible with other application using same shared user id " wont installed

My Nexus 5 has been great but many of the widgets freeze regularly especially any with a clock or weather. I've did re-installs on them and it continues to happen. The clock and/or weather will update for a while and then after a few hours will freeze in time. I have everything stock still but did try a few custom launchers including nova & apex to see if it occurred with them as well and it did so I went back to stock. I did a hard reset and they began working for a few days then back to the same issue today. I've tried everything I can think of. The problem is consistent and with every widget no matter the developer. Those for sure affected are HD Widgets, Beautiful Widgets, PolyClock (a world clock), and RetroClock. I'm assuming this is a kitkat compatibility issue but do not know for sure.
I also have a Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 10. The 7 hasn't been affected at all but the 10 has it intermittently. All 3 devices have updated to 4.4.2
This is very annoying as widgets are one of the primary thing that sets Android apart from iOS for me.
