Apr 29, 2014I just want the device to function again no matter what way. (Don't care if it's factory reset completely it has nothing on it I was just using it for a bit of experimenting).
So anyway, I have an HTC One x that I tried to install Cyanogenmod mod on but when trying to flash it (I was a bit impatient and just did what I thought would work), it didn't work and I'm stuck on the HTC Boot screen. I can still restart the phone and get to the recovery menus or whatever they're called. But even when doing a factory reset it still just won't get past the boot screen.
I thought I might experiment with rooting and all that, (I don't want to do this to my main driver, the Z1, for the life of me).

Mar 13, 2013I just purchased a cheap 9.7" Android Tablet, Model AM09-D2. It came with ICS 4.0.4, has 16Gb ram and a dual core Cortex A9 CPU. I would like to know how I go about backing this thing up. It is rooted and has absolutely no blootwear installed. Is it possible to flash a custom recovery. Like TWRP or CWM to save a image of the rom. I have already did a data and app backup with Mybackup Pro. Now I would like to backup the Rom and maybe do dump. Is it possible and if so how? Not really that comfortable with ADB/fastboot, truthfully I don't understand what the difference is. I already have drivers setup for Samsung Galaxy Nexus on my Win 8 notebook. Will installing ADB/fastboot screw things up?

Sep 29, 2012This is the first (and only) time that I have try to root my phone (with the AAHK). After alot of reading I managed to ROOT my Desire HD and it says S-OFF.
The problem is that I am not able to install a costum ROM. I have tried the following roms:
1. Android_Revolution_HD-4G_6.3.3
2. TrickDroid_v2.0.0_C2
And I allways get the same error. It says status 0. I found in some other threads on XDA-devoloppers that the problem is: "Wrong update-binary".

Mar 22, 2014recover my Xolo Q2000, i had given my cell to a friend of mine to install apps. but now it doesn't even start! when i turn it on it just shows the logo "XOLO" and then nothing happens, doesn't even boot into recovery as i tried with pressing power and both volume keys together. when i connect it to pc it just shows the battery icon, before it used to show the percentage too...
as far a i remember it had android 4.2.1 and that friend had told me he tried to install new rom or kitkat or recovery..well, i guess he just messed up and experiemented my Q2000. i just bought it a month ago.

Jun 27, 2013i bought xolo q700 few days back. i have this strange issue with its display.everything is working fine and i love this phone. but when i call any number the screen goes off. i cannot see options to put it on loudspeaker and most importantly i cannot use the dialer. also i cannot be sure if i have dialed the right number. the screen just goes off. physical buttons only of volume rocker and power button and it cannot bring the display up.
