When i downloading torrents using my android phone over the WiFi, its connection lost several times. My phone WiFi policy is "Keep WI-Fi on during sleep" as "Always". I use "Torrent" app client. Most of the time Torrent display "No suitable network" error. If i turn on the screen, problem not fix.
I have android 4.0.3 ROM and i connected my phone into my ADSL router, not a public.
As soon as i connect my Desire to wifi, it completely disconnect our wifi at home, so on my comp, my laptop, bro's laptop and every other wifi device at home.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to root my kindle fire hd (version 7.4.8).Every time i use Kindle Fire First Aide on the command prompt it says that i have a system path not specified error.My laptop operating system is windows 8 ( I have not upgraded yet to latest version so I don't know if that's the problem).Steps I Used
1. Download KFFA
2. Opened KFFA using cmd
3. Used option 21 : Alternative root: newer devices
4. Says system path is not specified
5. It starts a daemon but thats all it does

Plugging it in and out doesnt work, switching it off doesnt work, not even removing the battery. What is this and how can I stop it? Also, i've never upgraded my software, not sure how or if I can.. View 1 Replies View Related I got my Dad's old Motorola Fire XT530 recently. The thing is, he used the phone for around 2 weeks and then switched to a BlackBerry. He kept the phone switched off and locked up in his office bag. I fished it out yesterday and tried to switch it on, but it wouldn't even switch on. I connected it to the wall outlet and left out there for a while. The screen never turned on, but the lights on the soft keys below the screen did light up, so I assumed that it must be charging.
Anyway, after a while, I removed it from the outlet and switched it on, but it wouldn't boot up at all. Then I tried getting it into recovery and download mode, but it just wouldn't turn on at all. The device wasn't rooted, and I don't know what could have gone wrong that would make it like this.
I want to start developing for this device, seeing as there isn't even a decent ROM for this. I don't want to send it to the Motorola service centre; I have issues with them as it is.
Just want to know if theres an app/zip that allows you to control the number of times that your phone will give off an audio notification in a predetermined amount of time ? Like if I'm using an IM app and don't want it ringing more than 3 times in 30 seconds. Hope you understand what I'm asking.

When I'm walking with the phone in my pocket and listening to headphones, the phone will occasionally think that the headphones have come unplugged when they haven't. This causes it to pause, and I have to take the phone out and unpause it.
Is there any way to disable the 'pause on headphone disconnect' feature? I understand that this is a hardware issue, but there is really no reason for it to pause, as the headphones are still connected.
The phone is rooted and Liberty ROM 3 v2.0 is installed, but the issue occurred when the phone was stock, too.
I have been having a problem with my HTC One phone since I got it. My 4G connection will stay connected for about 30 seconds to a minute, and then it will revert back to 3G. I have already looked this up before and I have done the following:
-Changing my network mode setting to "LTE/CDMA", and then restarting the phone
-Making sure all recent updates have been installed
-Making sure my plan was actually eligible to connect to 4G (it is)
-Making sure there is 4G coverage in my area (again, it is)
-Always leaving "Automatic Connections" on

A friend of mine has the xt311 motorola fire. It keeps bugging her for low disk space (the internal memory is almost full indeed, and all apps that can be moved to SD have been moved).
After some research, I read that some logs could munch too much space and that by entering the mmi code * # 9 9 0 0 # you get to move the logs to the SD. Unfortunately, the code doesn't work and returns the error "connection problem or invalid mmi code".
The other solution should have to be rooting the phone and partitioning the SD then expanding the internal memory to it with link2sd. But I read about a few problems people are running into with this method. So I would like to know if there's another way to resolve this troubling limitation of the xt311.

After installing the USBWOOT.zip by using TWRP, i hit the reboot system, but my kindlefire can not boot with newly installed android os. my kindlefire continue to get in TWRP again and again. I checked boot file on my kindlefire by using android-sdk-linux, but there is nothing in it.
How can i boot my kindlefire again? I think that installing icecream sandwitch is the last resort to use my kindlefire, because amazon does not offer os recover instractions and files.

So following the directions on the youtube video, (can't link it) which was an awesome tutoral, I flashed it. Now the issue I'm having is that Cyanogen will start to boot, get to a screen that says 'problems loading widget', then reboot, and doesn't stop.

I did some further research and a quick search of the AOSP code. This revealed that the functionality is yet to be implemented. which obviously explains why the trigger wasn't being fired . The device-removed and service-exited triggers are also missing.
