I have Google Voice Account. I had installed Google voice on Nexus 4.Recently, I reset my device and tried to download the Google Voice App from Play Store.It does not give me any option to download it since I am not in USA right now.How i can download it from Play Store While abroad ?

I have a serious issue with my Goclever A93 tablet. Some time ago i've decided to root the device as well as remove some of the useless, bundle apps however i do think i've removed a little too much.
The problem is the tablet properly uses the sync option to sync emails with my google account however i'm not able to download ANY app from Google Play Store. Whenever i'm trying to do so (either update a pre-installed app or simply download a new one), the download simply freezes.
IN other words, i select either UPDATE or DOWNLOAD for an app, then hit the ACCEPT & Download button and that's it. There is an information "Downloading ...", the progress bar is moving HOWEVER the download never starts!
I've tried a huge variety of solutions - i've updated the tablet's software (from 4.0.4 to 4.0.4 but a newer build), updated Google Play app to 3.5.19 (newest i guess), removed external SD card, did dozens of factory resets -still nothing.
I'm guessing, again, that i've removed too much system apps while in the root mode, nevertheless i do not know which ones i'm missing.
I'm running Cyanogenmod 6. I just noticed that I can't find Google voice or Google maps in the market. I do have the apps installed, but can't see them int he market to get updates. I tried out LFY1.7 and Ultimate Droid 1.0.0, and see the same issue.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI haven't used my google voice number for much more than calling but recently I have used it for texting and cannot figure out how to send pictures.The only way I have seen to add them is through the email that the text generates but it won't allow me to choose a picture it says choose one but none are available and the "pick" button does not work.any suggestions?.BTW running the newest bugless beast and also had the problem on the newest smoked glass ROM.

I downloaded Google voice app and everytime I try to place a call it tells me I am unable to make the call. I did set my new number as the phone being used. Any suggestions? What happens is I will dial a number and press send, then something will pop up asking me if I want to make the call with GV or without GV. I choose WITH GV and it will start out okay, but after 5 seconds it goes back to the normal call screen and calls regularly with out GV. Is there anyone who can help me out with this? I have a droid eris.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a samsung SIII mini and i wanted to use 3g abroad so I bought a Travel Pass from my operator - Virgin. I activated it in France the 3g didnt work but I just thought it was because I was on highway. I entered Belgium but only for a brief 2 hours and the 3g worked perfectly. Then I entered Germany and for 12 hours being there the 3g signal didnt even come on. I triedturning the flight mode on and off a few times - didnt work I turned the remaining on and off and stil nothing worked.

There's been apps like Groove IP that are already able to provide this feature. I'd just like to have this functionality without having to install any 3rd party apps that always have to be running in the background. Google Hangouts is already the primary sms app for Android & so it is already able to receive texts, mms, along with video and voice chats. Thus, it should be somewhat possible to receive call forwarding from Google voice.
l uninstalled Google Search and Google Play store apps, but they were not completely uninstalled and now I can't reinstall them because the store says they are installed. I cannot find them on my android tablet and so I cannot use them. What is a good app to completely uninstall them. Some of these apps will not install on my Lenovo tablet.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to download a file from my tablet (teac tc-971v, 16gb internal storage), but when im trying to download an error pops up saying "an sd card is required to download " happens with any file im trying to download. i have enough storage avaliable (13gb free). I've tryed to download from a different browser (Dolphin).
I've tried to set the destination directory to the internal folder.(btw the default android browser doesnt have this option, only on dolphin browser)
is there any way i can download files to my internal storage without getting an sd card?

I am unable to download the new required update of the app, which is 1.6.1.
Upload the Sirius apk for 1.6.1.
I am unable to download any application from samsung apps, when I open samsung apps it shows all software and all navigation works well but when I try to download anything the waiting circle comes and it stuck at waiting circle forever and then I have to exit samsung apps.
I tried uninstalling samsung apps by root uninstaller and then installing it back again from apk , I tried clear data/cache many times, I tried updating samsung apps too.Although google play is working fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI finally changed the voicemail system on my Hero from Sprint's "visual voicemail" (which is misleading because it doesn't transcribe voicemails) to Google Voice. It's nice to see my transcribed voicemails now. However, when I actually want to hear them (if the transcription didn't work well), it only comes through the external speaker; the speaker on the back of the phone. I went into Google Voice settings and under "Voicemail Playback" I tried the only two options: "Play via Handset" and "Play via Speaker." Unfortunately, both play through the speaker phone speaker. How do I change it to the phone speaker? I also can't adjust the volume, so the whole world hears my voicemails through the external speaker.

This works when I am not answering the phone and I the caller gets connected to my GV account. But when my phone is not in coverage the caller gets my version voice mail. Appreciate if someone can correct my settings or suggest any app that does it. I am from Windows mobile world and missing those settings when you can define several settings for voice mail (unanswered, rejected, unavailable etc...)

I had thought it was just a voicemail service, I didn't know it affected your calls and texts as well. I didn't like it so I signed off. But two weeks later my phone started doing that call screening thing where you have to press 1 every time you answer a call. I went back on google voice, signed back on, and found that it had intercepted all of my texts calls and voicemails and kept them without telling me. I just need to know if there's a way to stop it. I would uninstall it if I could.

I have a Nexus 7 with PDANet Tablet and Google Voice and I have my (cheap) smartphone with PDANet and FoxFi
I can pair my phone and tablet up just fine and do a bluetooth tether with no issues I use it with Spotify while in the car daily. Other apps and Chrome work fine I can do pretty much whatever using the tether.
But when I try to send a txt with GV from the tablet it just says Queued and never ever sends.
I've got a Galaxy S3 with sprint and I absolutely detest the SVoice application. I use the bluetooth in my car and want to get to the google now app when I push my handsfree button in the car. Everything is stock from Sprint and the phone is not rooted so I'm still on Android 4.1.2
When I pushed the handsfree button before it took me to SVoice.
I followed a tutorial I found on YouTube and I disabled the SVoice application and downloaded an app called bluetooth launch.
I followed the instructions, but when I press the button now it takes me to a screen that looks like this:
This seems very limited in functionality and it doesn't really work well for me. I can't set reminders from it or take notes and the speech recognition seems sub-par.
How can I make this take me to the google screen that I see here when I launch "Voice Search" app"
I didn't see anything in the Bluetooth Launch app that allowed me to pick an application to launch so I'm not sure where to go now.
