When device is in sleep and I switch it back on, the widget is still 'stuck' behind time and doesn't get updated for a few seconds. Anything I am doing wrong? I am using Nova Prime launcher. I first noticed the problem when I hid the notification bar via Nova settings. I had since enabled the notification bar but the problem still persists.

I have been using UCCW for a long time now and i cant get it to update the weather when i want... I have manually set my location and each time i want the weather to update i have to go in settings, choose auto-location, then set location manually again, then press back and now it updates.
I'm running Omega v40 with stock kernel and have tried with other roms aswell.
where can I find this skin? Image attached.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am currently trying to create a cuckoo clock widget in which I am facing problem with updating the pendulum sound each second. My pendulum has to keep on ticking each second with sound effects integrated. I am doing update every second and I am able to play the sound using
mPlay = MediaPlayer.create(context, R.raw.chime); mPlay.start();
But after about 30 seconds, the sound stops playing giving the log error as follows:
E/AudioTrack( 2106): AudioFlinger could not create track, status: -12 E/AudioSink( 2106): Unable to create audio track E/VorbisPlayer( 2106): mAudioSink open failed
Then again the same sound starts playing after a pause of about 20 seconds instead of getting played each second. It continues in this fashion of playing the sound file for some seconds, then to the pause state and then again playing from start. This problem doesn't come into picture when I'm trying to update the sound on hourly basis for my hourly chime because in that case only once every hour this sound is played, same is the case for updation every minute. This problem arises only for updating the sound each second. What is the reason behind this delay?
I was wondering if there was the circles widget for uccw.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhat way is most efficient for updating an widget that will be a clock(Timer/Alarm), but for a clock to really works, like a clock it would be needed to update at least twice in a minute (30 sec period or less).
But that can't be effective? Have looked at some of the "threads/topics" here at StackOverFlow but haven't found any information regarding effectiveness.
(Don't own an android device yet, so I can't really test battery draining and cpu)
is it possible to open an application by tapping a widget created with UCCW and to have a notification mark like Missed it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Lewa Rom v13.06.07 on my Jiayu G3 android phone and am very happy with it. The best thing I have seen. However, there is one thing that needs fixing. When I use Viber and exit from it by pressing home button everything still works but if I close it by "sliding" it as you normally close all non running apps it stops and you get no calls or notifications. This is also true for some other apps like HD Widgets (the clock stops updating) and so on.
I believe these issues are caused by built-in task killer which stops all "unnecessary" processes.
So, I wonder if there is some way to set the rules which process will still run in the background
Is there a, possibly, a fullscreen clock widget that shows the clock and active alarms? Thanks.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a clock widget that looks good in both portrait and landscape modes. I'm tired of clock widgets that look like crap when the launcher is in landscape mode (or, if they look good in landscape, they look like crap in portrait), like HD Widgets or Beautiful Widgets.
I've only found one widget that changes its layout completely (read: not just stretches in one dimension and contracts in the other) to adjust itself to its new allocated area: Accuweather. See the attached images for what I mean. Notice the layout is completely different, and nothing overlaps/looks stretched/tiny. Both modes look great.
Now, my problem with Accuweather is that I'm looking for something darker, that looks better with the wallpaper. Do you know of some widget that does the same as Accuweather (different layouts for portrait/landscape) and allows customization?
I just installed beautiful widgets but it's not updating the time. i have advanced task manager installed but have beautiful widgets as an exception so it won't kill it. same thing with other time widgets as well.

I go into Menu>Setting>Update automatically, click on the box, then get the Data warning "this may result in additional charges from your wireless provider. Enable automatic download of weather data"
Click on YES
then I back out, and go back in to the setting, and the box is UNCHECKED again.
It's not holding the update yes setting.
Running into another issue regarding my S4 here. Before the 4x2 clock widget I had would always be in sync to that of my carrier's time. Now, when I scroll around my phone or go back to check the time or even after unlocking my device, the widget is a good minute or two behind of my actual provider's time. It takes itself about 30 seconds to correct itself, I was just curious if there is anything I can do to fix this issue?

I have the pro version of dynamic notification and I'm trouble getting dash clock weather widget on the dynamic notification screen. I downloaded dashclock, added the weather widget extension, and enabled dashclock in dynamic notification options. But nothing shows up on my dynamic notification screen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I have an HTC Clock widget on my home screen the time does not update fluidly. The clock will display the correct time only after I've unlocked the phone and given it several seconds to update. If I swipe over to another screen, wait any period of time (the longer the better), and swipe back; the clock will display the time at which I left that screen and again needs several seconds before it leaps to the correct time. I've tested this theory on the native Android clock widget and it worked correctly. IMO, it defeats the purpose of having the HTC clock widget when the clock in the notifications bar is always accurate. I am also using ATK but I've made sure the Clock process/app is in the ignore list.

setting up UCCW so how the widgets created should be inside the UCCW directory..some of the new clocks, battery bars, etc. I downloaded come with just a "UZIP" file, some come with a UZIP file & an image and some come with a whole directory that has weather images, fonts, etc. inside.
In the posts & threads I found previously that didn't really explain how to set up the new widgets, they just said "put everything inside the UCCWoutput folder"....
now, if one widget I download unzips to a folder with all that widgets' contents inside should I just put that folder inside the UCCWoutput folder?or do the fonts go into the "fonts" folder on the SD card and everything else go into the UCCWoutput folder?
right now I have almost everything placed in the UCCWoutput folder...no folder for images or files or font or separate folders for separate widgets....and only a few of the widgets show up when I try to add one to my screens...I thought maybe that each widget should have it's own folder but from what I read in previous posts I found the explanations were pretty vague...."put so-and-so inside the UCCWoutput folder"....that doesn't explain anything really since some widgets have 1 file and some have a UZIP file, a font file and a bunch of images...
I have search all over xda for a tutorial but havent succeed to find 1....
View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently I been tweaking my phone (theming it) but I'm stuck on adding a widget by long pressing/add widget but then the UCCW weren't there to be selected.
I'm currently on Android Gingerbread 2.3.6 with Holo Launcher, then tried multiple Launcher e.g ADW, GoLauncher, SSLauncher but none of them shows the UCCW Widget. I've wasted the whole day trying to find a solution but I give up and ask the good people here instead.
