I am using ICS with Nova Launcher.I miss the old bookmark widget in Launcher Pro Plus, I used it in text only mode with a transparent skin and it looked good.
The bookmark widget that comes in ICS is ok but I want something with just a scrollable list of the bookmark names. I have looked at a few different apps on the market and they are mostly thumbnails of the webpage.

I'm looking for a replacement for the Motorola Blur Notes widget. I don't think this exists as an app, just a widget. Since updating to CM9, I have this 4x2 gaping hole where I used to be able to press and type, and what I typed would sit there. I don't want a text editor (I have a few), and I don't want a to-do list (don't need one). Just something to jot down notes on the home screen.
View 1 Replies View Relatedhow do i add a bookmark to the bookmark widget with a picture?currently mine has facebook, bbc, cnn, myspace, amazon google and ebay.id like to remove a few and add my own, im using the dolphin browser when i hit add bookmark on the widget it says bookmark saved but doesnt get added to the widget but only to the dolphin bookmarks. i want to be able to have it in the widget so when i click it it just opens up the webpage. is this possible?i read someone said open the browser and hit menu to get up a menu to edit the bookmarks? i hit menu and the only one i can see is add bookmark. and the rest are not relevant.if i hit the plus sign at the top left of dolphin i can get the list of bookmarks. if i hit menu again the only options are snyc, import and label. i dont see how you can edit them again.

After I added my own personal bookmarks to the widget, I noticed I did not get a thumbnail of the site associated with the bookmark. Is there any way to add a bookmark and also get the thumbnail? I use Dolphin HD as my default browser.

I have the Chrome bookmarks widget on my homescreen, and the first spot is taken up by the "Mobile Bookmarks" folder (see screenshot). This is really annoying. When I first started using the widget, this was not the case, after a while it just appeared there.
Anyway to avoid this? Maybe even a way to change the order of the bookmarks?
If not, is there any way to remove the "Mobile bookmarks", "Desktop bookmarks" and "Other bookmarks" folders in Chrome so I could just have my bookmarks in one place?

I use my Dinc a lot in the car for hours at a time using GPS, Pandora and maybe other apps. Running all of them can really heat up the phone so I like to keep an eye on it. My only desire from the sense ROM would be the bookmark widget that is found on sense phones. Looks like the pic below. I was wondering if there might be apk out there that could be ported over with the fixed resolution for our phone. Or is my phone waiting for the sense ROM. Sorry I'm kinda obsessed with that widget, but not worth it to trade my droid for just that.

My Android Desire is a superb device and will do almost anything I want. Even cleans up around the house and makes coffee and feeds the cat. However, there is one simple thing I cannot get it to do: provide me with a simple text editor like Wordpad so that I can write little texts on the go. I've searched everywhere for this function. I cannot imagine that it is missing from the phone, it's so basic. When I search for "text" I get all sorts of stuff on writing "text" messages, i.e. SMS messages (the term "text" seems to have lost its original meaning and is now used almost exclusively to refer to SMS messages). Where is the Desire equivalent of Wordpad or Notepad or, better, Notepad++?

The entire screen is a textView/ect and i would like to be able to write a sentence then draw an image and write again. By draw i think i would use the Canvas, so basically is there a way to include a canvas in a text view?
Evernote does do this, but to edit an image/draw you need to open another app "Skitch", my goal is to try and do this without any extra apps.
