I'm looking for a screen capture app that lets me record my gameplay off my Android. I have tried Screencast PRO , but I don't get no video after I open the game I am trying to record or it lags up bad , audio isn't synced correctly , and pieces of the notification bar are included in the video . I'm using the Droid Razr running on AOKP ICS 4.0.4 Rooted.

I just used the pc36img.zip from the how to guide on rooting. It apparently worked this time but now I'm stuck at the boot screen. I suppose I have no ROM now? Where can I get one and what do I do with it. if that is indeed the problem?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI really want to take screenshots of my desire to show you all, but i cant get it to work on my desire. When i open the sdk ddms tool my desire doesnt show on the list, I have followed the guide found on page 1 in the "show us your desire screen" thread, but there seems to be a problem: I installed all the software including the usb-driver package for the sdk-software. I checked the "usb-debugging" on the desire.
So I read that maybe i should update the device from the Windows devicemanager. First of, my desire doesnt show, it shows only a "ADB" - is that my desire? I tried upgrading the driver on the ADB, but even if i browse to the USB-folder in sdk it says "no driver found".
My Ally was rooted. I saw that a new update was available, so I unrooted the phone for it. It restarts and then the screen gets an exclamation point with a little Android. I take the battery out to restart it, and it goes back to normal without the update.

There is one function getDrawingCache() which does that, but it only save picture what is available on the screen. It does not capture beyond screen if the picture is big.

I open DDMS and it recognizes my phone without any problems. When I try to do a screen capture, it says screen not available. In the command box it says "timeout" and "truncated reply from ADB fb data". Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?My phone isn't rooted and is running RC33. I'm running windows vista on my computer.
