I have a Lenovo IdeaPad A1 tablet. I recently Changed phone carriees and got an LG Optimus L9. The tablet is running Gingerbread and the phone is running Ice Cream Sandwich. I seem to only be able to sync from tablet to phone. Are there computability issues between the to OSs? I had no issues syncing when both tablet and phone were running Gingerbread, my previous phone was an LG Optimus Elite.

If one enables full device encryption in Ice Cream Sandwich, am I correct in assuming that that the internal SD of that device is now not going to be available in the CWM recovery mode? And even if it was, the root fs would not be available? If so, this pretty much would make CWM flashing your device near impossible?
Does CWM even work if you use FDE? Or is it planned/
The question I guess is, when do you input your encryption password? Is it some pre-boot step?
I really want to enable device encryption but I can't find enugh details on how it works.

I'm having trouble getting my code working on ICS. It worked perfectly on my old DroidX, but I just got the new Galaxy Nexus and my code just returns null every time, as if the app isn't connecting to my servers or it's using a GET request when it should be using POST. Below is my code,
Code:
//---------------- AUTHENTICATE LOGIN ---------------------------
public static String authenticateLogin (String usr, String password, String updateDataNames, String updateDataUsernames, String updateDataPhone, String updateDataRadius, String updateDataChecked, String updateGPS)

When I try to do a screen capture, it says screen not available. In the command box it says "timeout" and "truncated reply from ADB fb data". i was wondering if any of you had suggestions for a screen capture app that didn't require the SDK. If it didn't require me to root my phone that would also be a plus but i'll take what I can get.

I am looking for a screen capture utility that DOES NOT require a rooted phone.HOW IDIOTIC, suppose I want to screen capture as a user, to help a developer do documentation? This is absurd that there's no apps for the rest of us honest users.there's something if I connect it to my PC. C'mon, I don't have to connect my home PC to some other computer to take screen snapshots. I want an app that works on the phone itself, and does not require root access.

After installing the USBWOOT.zip by using TWRP, i hit the reboot system, but my kindlefire can not boot with newly installed android os. my kindlefire continue to get in TWRP again and again. I checked boot file on my kindlefire by using android-sdk-linux, but there is nothing in it.
How can i boot my kindlefire again? I think that installing icecream sandwitch is the last resort to use my kindlefire, because amazon does not offer os recover instractions and files.
