General :: Samsung Galaxy Chat WiFi And Bluetooth Not Turning On All Of A Sudden

The wifi on my phone Samsung Galaxy Chat will not turn on all of a sudden. Same is the issue with Bluetooth.
The wifi button in the drop down screen is kind of greyed out and when settings is opened the [off-on] is greyed out. In wifi settings it just says "turning on...".
All firmware up to date. Phone isnt damaged or dropped. I have restarted the phone many times and also performed factory reset twice and cleared the cache too.

I see another thread on Locale, but it seems to be focused on it technical shortcomings. I thought a thread about how people are using this app would be helpful.
Now... I use Locale for the following:
- Turning the ringer down when I get to work (obviouse one)
- Turning GPS/Bluetooth/wifi on when I plug it in the phone (think car dock)
- Turn on Wifi when I get near my known hot spots.
- Turn off GPS/Bluetooth/wifi off and turn down brightness when my battery is low.
And the last one is a good one for me...
- I have a GV number. When I call my phone from that number, it turns the ringer volume all the way up and it turns on wifi and GPS. This is my "lost phone aid". It turns on the locating features so I can see where the phone is using iGoogle and Latitude, and I can hear the phone if it is "in the cushions" on vibrate.
Anyone else get creative with Locale?

I have this strange memory problem on my Samsung Galaxy SII Last week I flashed CheckRom RevoHD on my cellphone and everything went well (Titanium Backup etc...)
This morning I downloaded and installed Omega Files (Omega Series ROM kitchen) on my cellphone after a few hours it switched off. And then it took like 10 minutes to switch back on as the screen was stuck on the splash screen.
I had like 500-600Mo of free memory out of 2Go for apps and now I only have 20Mo...
Is there any file manager (that sorts folders by size) out there so I can do so cleaning ?

I press to turn on the wifi and it just says turning on, and it like, freezes on turning on, then after a while it will turn itself off. It was working before and suddenly its just happened.
I have tried a factory reset and twice it has worked for a while then it goes back to freezing on "Turning On"

So, I have the Samsung Galaxy Chat (GT-s5330) and I have a weird problem. When I connect it to a charger (happens on wall charger and on PC connection) it turns off immediately, and it can't be turn on whatsoever. I left it a whole night charging, and in the morning, when I disconnected it and turned it on, it had low battery and needed to be connected to the charger.

I have a Samsung galaxy s4 and Facebook chat heads used to work when I was not on an application like android forums etc they would work on my desktop, however now they only show up when I am using an application and will not show up on my desktop.

I have a Samsung S3 with VirginMobile. I know in the past several years ago, you have to root the phone in order to make your phone into a WiFi Hotspot.
I just wondering if this is still true? Can I make my phone into a WiFi Hotspot without rooting the phone? If so, how can I do it?
The reason I ask, I am planning to get an Android tablet. I am going to end up getting a off brand Android tablet.

While using my Galaxy i9500 it crashes and phone automatically restarts with 0% battery percent
I tried this Battery Calibration app but it didn't work It says battery stats file doesn't exist!
I tried installing new rom but now as soon as I turn on the device it works for like 2 minutes in its real charging percent (e.g 60%) then crashes and restarts to 0%
The battery is original and It's not swollen.

I have a Motorola H375 bluetooth headset which works great with the phone however even if I leave the phone on the table while a call is active on the headset the screen will NOT turn off after 30 seconds like it does outside of a call. If I put the phone up to my ear when on the headset it will because of the proximity sensor but that defeats the purpose of the bluetooth headset.

I have a new Samsung Captivate, and I can't keep the wifi off. No matter how many times I go to settings (or use the pull-down curtain), and switch off the wifi, within a minute or so, the wifi comes on again. It also turns itself off again periodically when this happens. I don't have any after market power manager installed. I suspect this may be down to an app, but have no idea where to start looking for the solution.

Something new - under Wifi Settings / Advanced - I have Wi-Fi set to sleep when display is off. This doesn't seem to be the case. My WiFi is Always on. I would imagine that the icon would disappear like it does when WiFi is turned off, but when the phone is asleep and then wakes up, the WiFi connection is still there. Anything I can try to fix this? I have tried changing the WiFi sleep policy to the other 2, then changing it back to display power - didn't work. I did have to reboot the phone last night because I couldn't get WiFi to turn off, but I don't have a problem today with turning it on or off, just won't go to "sleep"

Last night my wife was trying to update her cached stations on slacker radio and although connected to wifi slacker gave a notification that the data would be downloaded over 3g and an unlimited plan was recomended. The strange thing is I had full strength connection to wifi but the 3g icon was still there and and the red and green arrows were showing data transfer over 3g. When connected to wifi on my captivate the 3g icon disappears. A simple power down fixed the problem and wifi was present and no 3g icon in the status bar.

I just got the Kenwood KDC-X994. The bluetooth worked perfect the first day and now I can get it to pair with my Evo but the stereo won't answer? I do think it is my Evo, not the stereo.

Bluetooth seems to work ok because I can pair with the Parrot CK3100, but I have a ELM327 bluetooth diagnostics interface than I can not find when I search bluetooth devices with this smarthphone.The ELM327 is working fine with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and android 3.1, as with 2 pc's I tried with windows XP.

Is there a way to turn off the mobile part of the phone when not using the internet in any form? My wife has a droid eris and you can just turn of mobile aspect (it turns off the 3g) just like you would turn off and on wifi, gps, etc... It saves the battery life big time when you know there's no need to use the web.

Is there a way to turn off the T9 on the Galaxy? I've tried telling it not to autocomplete words but it's still got the T9 activated by default in text messages, so I have to press the T9 button before starting every message i write. I should point out that this is with the qwerty keyboard disabled...

I own a BLU Dash 5.0 sim unlocked from factory. It's a double sim model, which I have two sims, since the companies are spanish, let's call them Green Sim and Blue Sim (since that's how they are color coded in my status bar). It is also running Android Jelly Bean 4.2. Here is the problem. Ever since of March 20, a Chinese app appeared on my home screen, I don't know how, something called "Mobile Video" but the content was in a foreign Asian language. I suspect of my friend since I lent it to him for 15 minutes and then it appeared. Aside of this, the wifi and the Green Sim 3G was turned on.
I clicked on the app curious of it was something my friend downloaded from me, but then the app prompted me two options, I didn't know what it said since again, it was Asian. Next, I proceeded to uninstall it, going to my apps list, I was surprised to see another mysterious app, "Push_Down", that was the name. I uninstalled both Mobile Video and Push_Down.
Next day when I woke up, I found two new apps on my homescreen, and again, the Wifi and Green Sim 3G was on.These were Chinese also. I uninstalled them both and found once again "Push_Down" in my apps. After I uninstalled them, I thought the problem was finally fixed. Wrong again. Since this event, about every 2 or 3 hours, my Wifi and Green Sim 3G turn on automatically, but haven't downloaded anything new, one, because I have no credit left, and two, I have no internet at home. Ever since, daily I wake up, the same problem, the Wifi and 3G are on. I checked my SD Card, I checked my Phone Storage, both with 2 Antivirus (Avast!, and Lookout Mobile) and with Addons Detector. Surprisingly, nothing has appeared.
My last option is what hurts me most, to reset my phone, which I don't want to do since I have lots of apps installed, progress made with certain games and etc, etc. Also, I am not a root user, so I haven't rooted and won't root my phone.

lately in my Asus Padfone 2, the wifi keeps turning on automatically without my permission. Everytime I wake the screen from lock screen, I can already see the WiFi indicator is on above, it's driving me nuts I have to turn it back off every once in a while. This only happen lately when I install many apps from Store I can't remember, so I reckon one of those apps is the main cause of this problem. Which in my running apps turns on my WiFi automatically?

So I got the Galaxy Note 2 in December and I have been loving it but the only thing I miss is the iMessage group chat. So in the messaging app I can start a group chat but when I get texts back it just comes into that friend's name chat, not the group chat I started. But my main concern is that I am part of a group chat with my friends but it doesn't put those in a folder when they are sent to me. It just comes up as an MMS. I have tried GOSMSPro but maybe I am dumb and group chatting might not be possible to get all the messages in the same folder?
