I rooted and installed this Atomod for s7500, [URL] ....
It was awesome. It was also running good. Not a single application crashed.
But when i rebooted my android, it won't start. It won't go past the Samsung logo. Nor is it entering into CM recovery mode nor into Download mode.

i just buy my new galaxy ace plus and when i want to root it from recovery.. i cant reboot into recovery..how to reboot recovery on this phone?.. or maybe this ace+ doesnt have a stock recovery?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a new spacious SD card for my new phone and decided to move all my files there. I was having trouble with the apps so I found out FolderMount could be useful. I rooted my device without any problems and checked it too before using FolderMount. However when I opened FolderMount it said it needed to patch/repair something so I hit OK. After that it said You can reboot your device now. so I did. After that my device starts and stands still after the samsung logo is shown. I wouldn't call it freeze because I can see it's still working (the background of the samsung logo gets a blue gradient every second) but I'm beginning to worry about it since it has been in that state for like more than an hour. Rebooting wont work.
View 4 Replies View RelatedLately my phone has made it a habit of showing a black screen when I open an app. At first it was just one app that I could not open, and now most apps have this problem. It is very difficult as even my contacts and messages aren't showing. Also sometimes it starts buzzing with no reason.
I have tried to re install some of the apps, however this did not work.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S7500.
I am about to buy Galaxy Ace Plus S7500.
The phone looks all good to me with the price But I just wanted to know that does this phone has tv out via hdmi or not ?
and if yes how ? Would it require to root me or load a custom rom or just via downloading an app or maybe just nothing extra.
I tried everything to add arabic support to a Galaxy Ace Plus GT-S7500, note that arabic works and the letters are arranged in the correct order, they are just not connected.
What i tried,
1) replace the font, the font changed but still the same problem
2) attempt to replace framework folder of an arabic supported stock , an Egyptian Version, it should have arabic support, using the same method as installing a custom rom, using a CWM and a zip with a script to extract those files to the correct location, but i got bootloops.
3) I tried to replace the entire system folder with system folder of the Egyptian Stock ROM, same problem, bootloops.
4) Finally i tried to replace system.img.ext4 from stock firmware with the Egyptian system.img.ext4 and install it through odin3, but it would complete.
And now im out of options, unfortunately this phone has no dedicated forum i could find nor many custom roms, not that i want them as this isn't my phone and i'd like to keep it the same as it as.
I flashed my GT-S7500 today and I successfully booted into my phone
Then I rebooted it. Then it just stucked at samsung logo
No recovery nor download mode can be accessed, you know, before the animation.
I thought removing battery, so I removed it and it wont turn on.
Today I was on whatsapp on my samsung galaxy mini 2.I discovered than the wifi was not working anymore so i turned it off and on,but it turned off automatically.So i restarted the phone,long pressing the power button.
But the phone didn't start anymore.What happened ? I tried to plug the battery off and on,but still not opening...The charger was plugged in when this happened...

View 1 Replies View Relatedyesterday I flashed my Galaxy Ace 2 with the JellyCreamMessi10 Rom.
The update worked fine, but not so the Rom. It looked quite well, but didn't detect my SIM Card.
So I wanted to downgrade my phone again to the original firmware with Odin, which also worked well until the phone said "Now rebooting...".
Nothing happened, the phone did not reboot, so that I powered it off and tried to power it back on.
Unfortunately, the Ace 2 does not react on any button, display stays completely black.
Tried several things like connecting the phone to USB and inserting the battery, afterwards, but nothing happens.
For me it looks like my phone is broken, but how I can get it back to live?
I would like to know how to install kernels from the start and step by step. and if it affects the operation and information each i have the samsung galaxy yp-g70 (player 5) whith phisic boton

I have 4.0.2 ICL53F currently loaded, updated it about two months ago.I recently loaded CWM recovery.
My Samsung Galaxy S won't fully start up. I take the battery out and start it and it goes through the starting up phase with the spirals and what not and then the screen says Galaxy S then the phone either just shuts off by itself or the screen is black but the bottom two touch buttons are lit up. Ive tried to do the reset on it by holding the Up volume, home button and power button but that doesn't seem to work either.

many people say that we cant access the stock recovery on galaxy ace plus because it have some bugs or something else.. now i found the way how to do that
just follow the simple guide how to do that :
1. reboot it using volume + and volume - ~> home button ~> power button
2. click and hold both volume button then the home button then the power button..
3. if the phone gets turned on so u need to keep hold that button until the recovery showed up (when it showed up and its get turned off again so u need to hold all the button again until it get rebooted to recovery)
4.if u get rebooted all time its not a big problem again .. all u need is just hold all that button until the phone gets turned on and release the power off button and hold it again until u boot it on recovery mode.. and done u booted up on recovery mode (im not responsible if ur phone gets bootloop or something else)
2 days ago, I received my new I7500 in the mail. I've been playing around with it and installing apps from the market. Just 10 minutes ago, while trying to unlock the screen of my phone, it crashed and started to reboot, however its stuck on the flashing "Samsung" icon boot screen (like literally stuck there), and when I pull out the battery and place it back in, the phone still boots and gets stuck on the same screen. What is causing this to occur?!?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've rooted 6 or so different android phones mainly using cf-autoroot, including an i9300, and never had any issues. But I have had a few issues rooting my 9503 using the cf-autoroot method (method #1 in this post). It aooeared to work, but SuperSU subsequently fell over, and Knox complained but after reading other posts I rectified that, but obviously not quite correctly:
After using cf-autoroot, SuperSU DID NOT appear in the apps list, but Google Play said it was installed but only presented the option to open it (not update or remove).
So I then tried flashing twrp (as per method #2 in this post) which all appeared to go successfully according to Odin. I was expecting to install superSU updater, as per step 3, but recovery mode appeared unchanged/stock so of course I couldnt flash anything as there was no option to do so. Yet there were no errors reported by Odin?
So I then got hold of the app file for SuperSU 1.93 and installed it (via Airdroid). It ran. It found knox. It removed it, and root was installed successfully (as verified by root checkers, titanium backup, droid wall and the like). So I concluded I had successfully rooted my 9305.But when I reboot SuperSU falls over again on boot up, and the version I added via Airdroid has disappeared, and of course there is no root mode.
But I can then restore root access after a reboot simply by following the same process, namley installing the supersu apk via Airdroid.And why is the later version of SuperSU disappearing on reboot?

So, I've been trying to make my calendar start on Sunday, I have changed the settings to do so, but the calendar still starts on Monday.
I use CalWidget and in the "Miscellaneous" settings I've ticked the "Week starts Sunday" setting, still no luck.
My cloud Google Calendar starts on Sunday as well.
Am I missing something? It doesn't seem to me like this should be hard to do, and I'm not computer or Android illiterate, but I just can't seem to figure this one out.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a SAMSUNG Galaxy phone and had set up my official mail (yahoo business mail) under E-Mail settings. And I was receiving mails for a week. Now for the last 3 days, no mails are downlaoding and when I click Email, it only shows 'Load More Messages', but on clicking nothing happens. I am think of resetting it, but dont know how to do it. I tried holding the Email and drag it to the Trash, it moves to trash, but reappears. I tried to delete the Yahoo Biz Mail credentials I had given, so as to recreate, but after clearing each field, there is no way you can save it.

I received the notification there was a new software update available(I assume it is the 4.3 update) so i went ahead with the update. The s3 was on charge so no problems there.
The update started and went to 100% and then the device restarted and now it is frozen on the Samsung start up screen. I have tried a reset (power button and home button) but this did not have any affect the Start up screen remained,i tried to boot the phone is safe mode(power home and vol up buttons) and this did not have any effect either.
I pulled out the battery to restart the phone and it still remains frozen on the samsung start up sceen.
Ci need my phone for business over the weekend and i dont have a backup phone.
My phone has just presented with the above problem. When I switch it on it won't boot passed the start up screen with the big 'S' and 'Samsung Galaxy S II' below it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've got a Galaxy Nexus phone recently and since I'm not familiar with Android (ICS) at all it took me a while to get used to it.
Since I was not very satisfied with the pre-installed googleCalendar I was told to install the app aCalendar, which I was very happy with for a while. But whenever there was an Calendar alarm which I wanted to change the note opened in the old googleCalendar. And that's why I thought I might change that by disabling the googleCalendar. Yes, what I did not know at that time was that the aCalendar depends on the googleCalendar. Afterwards I couldn't make any entries to the aCalendar anymore. So I went back to the apps-list and to my horror there was no appropriate button for enabling the calendar again (why not???). In despair I went to Settings and Reset app preferences, which seemed to work for a while - the old Calendar worked again.
A couple of days later, however (I don't have the slightest clue whether it had anything to do with my former actions or with anything else) it stopped working again and I didn't find any possibility to start it again - which is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, since I need a calendar!
HOW do I start the googleCalendar again??? If I go the app in the app-list it obviously still exists, but there is NO button to make it start again! (Why do they put an DISABLE-button there, if they don't give you the option to ENABLE it again!?)
I have a file manager installed and I see that the calendar app is stored in /system/app (actually there are two calendar files - CalendarGoogle.apk & CalendarProvider.apk). When I try to say install, it won't install and says App not installed. ?
Don't come up with things like "You have to root your mobile", because this is no option for me and I don't want to mess up with the system even more).

I am running a Samsung S3 on Android Revolution 19.0
Comes with the great multi window feature, however every time I restart the phone I have to go into settings, uncheck and recheck the box for Multi Window for it to start running.
After this update, which came on my new replacement phone... I can't reboot like normal when trying to apply reinstall update packages with the root from OCLF. Is there some new tricky method to get it to reboot to the special reboot screen? I tried holding the home button with the volumes and power button aside from the other, volumes and side power button and no such luck it just reloads that first att logo. I also tried letting go of the volumes when its stuck in the first logo and vice versa with letting go of the power button.I guess my rants to Samsung's customer service paid off with this update. Just goes to show what a little complaining will do.
