I have flashed 2 different roms but both have same problem, after flashing the new roms touch has stop working on onda vi30 deluxe...Suggest me something through which i can restore my touch back.

Sometimes the three touch screen tabs at the bottom of the screen ,just stop working ,i can move between home screens and all other touch screen icons work,but not the three at the bottom,then suddenly they will respond Anyone else had this?,i have not installed any apps for a while so i dont think it is an app causing it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've read about a possible grounding issue with the some screens, but I haven't read about the issue I'm having. Randomly the touchscreen will stop working... It doesn't matter what I have open it will just stop working. The system is still running, calendar alerts will pop up, and the time will still advance, but I can't do anything with the phone and have to pull the battery and force a reboot to get the screen to respond. I initially thought maybe it was an app, but this has happened with nothing running except the default apps.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've bricked my Onda Vi40 while updating it to 4.1 with clockworkmod recovery. I used the files that I've found from a forum post, but after flashing a file, an error occured (I can't remember the error message) and now, my tablet is stuck in clockworkmod. Also, I can't mount external sdcard, error messages appears as follows:
error mounting /sdcard!
error mounting /sd-external!
At my computer's device manager, the device can be seen as "GT-I9100" device, seems like a Samsung Device. I've found and tried to install the device drivers, but it's unsuccessful too.
As a result, my tablet stuck at clockworkmod recovery, it can't mount any sdcard, i have no access to internal memory.
I just got the v711s tablet directly from china and I tried to flash it with a new firmware but I didn't took the good one. Now the touch screen doesn't work and I'm unable to reflash it to an other firmware.Also the boot manager is not responsive so no chance on this side (also I don't have volume button on the tablet).
What should be my next step? Is a hard reset via SD card available ? Is there a way to get boot manager working ?
I tried to install a custom ROM and i failed, so i had to flash a Stock ROM again. After i downloaded the packaged and flashed it using Odin. The touch is not working !

View 6 Replies View Relatedi got a brand new S3 In december 2013 , i dropped it an it broke ( both touch and LCD ) I got them replaced by a authorized service . It worked fine 2 months , Two days ago some problem appeared, Touch screen stopped working propperly , it worked only for short periods of time. Now if i press really hard on the right hand corner (Above the return arrow) it works Perfectly ( as long as i keep my finger there) but sometimes it works fine after reboot but in the end it stops (No signs of cracks or damage) , i had CM11. What i've done until now :
-Deleted CM11 and added 4.1.2
-Took it appart and checked the ribbon ( fine)
-Hard reset
- Dummy file generator
Everything works on it buttons ,Before the freezing screen flashes a bit .

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought LG VU II (F200L) in perfectly working condition, it almost new. After installing LG PC suite and connecting it said new firmware update is available so I proceeded which was done successfully but since then touch screen is not working properly.
Usually it responds ok but main issue is back button is not working anymore, and sometimes when I press power button to unlock screen it responds very weird and not so responsive as well as sometimes doesnt responds or opens apps that I havent even clicked.
I tried to restore, emergency restore, LG Flash tools and used correct KDZ files to flash roms successfully but nothing seems to resolve this issue.
I have been using a trusty U8120 for a while now with Fresh Zodiac Fruit Rom. I was browsing on it last night and then next day the screen was just inoperable. Sometimes it would "take" some input, but it would understand something different (e.g. on a keypad, touch it in the middle "5" and it understands top right "3", but then again, "3" doesn't register either).
Here's the funny thing: it doesn't take any input whatsoever, but, if the screen is about to idle shut down and I touch it, it goes back on full light, meaning it understands the touch.. what the..?
I tried reinstalling the firmware but nothing happened.

I have tried the play store it says that the app cannot be installed on the tablet. Only way to fix it was to hit the back of the phone and do a battery reset. This issue started poping up more and more, and now it won't respond.

No custom roms/kernels have ever been installed, has always run off the stock. Never been dropped or had water on it (I took very good care of it).
The nav bar at the bottom (back/search/options/menue) and hardware buttons all work. Everything above the screen no longer works.
What iv done: I've reset the phone, did a bettery pull for the night, fully charged it, looked at the board and checked all the connections (all good). Would flashing a custom rom/kernel be something to try next? Why would the bottom nav bar work but no the rest of the screen? Could it be locked somehow? If it is.. how would I unlock it?
I have flashed my x10a with flashtool and x10_2.3_aro_2.ftf firmware. But after the flashing is finished, my phone screen touch is not working. What can I do now? I am unable to install xrecovery to install another rom bcoz screen touch isn't working. So I can't install any custom ROM.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running a new galaxy s2 and am running into a major problem with the playlists I'm creating. After I create a new playlist and spend time putting songs in them they work for a while untill, usually overnight when I try and play them again the song stays at 0 seconds and will not play. I havent found any other forums addressing this problem and I'm going crazy trying to fix it especially since in my trouble shooting i cant seem to find one thing that makes it happen. Its not certain songs or certain playlist. The songs work fine untill for some reason they wont play anymore. My phone recongnizes them and the same song will play if I play it through the normal route (Atrists or albums) but when i play it from a playlist it wont play. Also i am running this music from an sd card and this is a new problem and it happens with all the music players i try. I was on winamp and then i moved to player pro because i thought the problem was with winamp but its happening with player pro to.

It had been working beautifully for awhile on my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7, but now it has stopped working on both I've got syncing checked on both devices under accounts, so I dunno WTF is wrong. Since I use G+ on the desktop most of the time, it's extremely annoying to have to clear notifications on three different devices (PC, phone, and tablet).

Yesterday I was having fun trying out the secret codes (like *#*#4636#*#*) and tried out the touch screen code. Then clicked on update (firmware).
Then the touch was not working. I tried taking out battery and putting it back on. Tried factory reset after backing up data with Kies. Tried rooting the simplest way. Tried to flash using Odin with a recovery and pit file. Still nothing is working.
I have a Motorola S10 bluetooth headset for listening to music. It's really nice not having to deal with cords and having controls for play/pause and track forward/back right on the headset.
However recently the controls have stopped working when my screen is off. I can't pause my music or advance track. I hear the 'beep' in my headset indicating that a button has been pressed, but my phone isn't getting or ignoring the command.
To make matters more complicated, it isn't a consistent thing. Occasionally the controls will still work with the phone off. This has been happening for a couple of weeks now and I'm having a very hard time finding any regularity to when it will or won't work. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. I also can't seem to trace it to an specific program that I recently installed.
I have a Wildfire S with CM7. I have almost all apps linked to SD including GO Launcher using Link2SD, and I moved cache to SD as well.
When I remove my SD and reinsert it, all of the apps linked or moved stop working and I can't restore them with Titanium Backup
So I have to restore my ROM Backup and use Titanium Backup to restore them, which app I have to put in internal memory so that I don't get this problem ???
I flashed this ROM (cm-10.1.0-RC0-1-GT-S5830-cooper++.zip) and clock having problem, it says the the clock stop from working, and everytime i will set alarm, it force close.
and i'm using NQ Android booster, and everytime i kill some background apps, it will restar my phone..
As a work around to the issue where a list item isn't focusable if it has a focusable child item (a comment by Romain Guy was that this was intended behavior, for accessibility reasons) I simply filled the listItem with two children, each of which is focusable - There's nowhere to directly touch on the listItem anymore, just it's children.
For the most part this is a useable workaround, effectively invisible to the user, except for one thing- Although you can scroll by swiping without issue, touching to *stop* the scroll no longer works- I imagine because the child item is capturing the touch event and not passing it to the parent listitem, at least while the scroll is in effect.
Is there a known workaround for this? Perhaps someway to "pass the baton" of the touch event back up to the parent listItem, or a way to change my design?
BTW- I know there's some built-in functonality for single/multiple choice listviews (checkbox listviews) - That doesn't actually help in my case. The app is a contact list, and the row children are a relativelayout (populated with contact info) and a clickable phone icon (a one-touch dial for the contact), which needs to be visible or invisible depending on whether the stored contact has a phone number.
I purchased the IR overlay from here [URL] I got it working with my mk808b by using an idc fiile, however, it only allows one touch point which means no zoom. On the computer it is multitouch.
