View 6 RepliesI'm looking for an application to act as a drawer, but that app has the ability to create folders, and I found Organized Drawer EyeLauncher only that the former is really poor and the latter has many problems of instability.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHad my Razr HD for about 1 1/2 weeks. Moved to Nova launcher a week ago. Love it. Posted about built in widgets vs NOVA, but this is about a function within NOVA. How to set up 'Drawers' or their relationship to folders and tabs. I'm assuming a Drawer is similar to a folder in that it is a collection of apps, bookmarks and widgets. But then what is a folder in NOVA-speak? Tabs? Where do they fit in? And I can't figure out how to set up a Drawer.
View 5 Replies View RelatedBut is it possible to have ADW launcher have the default app drawer or are the launcher and appdrawer tied together. eg you can only have one or the other. The device in question is the motorola xoom wifi.
Reason being is because I enjoy having ADW launcher's ability to take up the full screen on my xoom as opposed to have the columns on either side where you cant place app (wasted screen real estate if you ask me, since theirs no need for a tapping area when you can swipe to change screens). But at the same time I very much enjoy the ICS app drawer and being able to see a visual representation of my widgets and what not.
if it is possible to have both the ICS app drawer and a custom launcher? By this I mean to have the custom launcher home screen and the default appdrawer? I have googled but I haven't found an answer Thats why im asking. I don't know enough about android to figure it out on my own, So can you have both your cake and eat it too? Or is the homescreen tied to their respective launchers. Eg you cant have the default app drawer without also using the default homescreen launcher? Or is it possible to mix and match app drawer's with a launcher. my initial feeling is that they're tied together,
Is there a way to change the icons in the app drawer in ADW Launcher or ADW Launcher EX? Like choose the ones we want.
View 6 Replies View RelatedWith the stock TW laucher of my SGS 2 (ICS) I would like to move pages in the App drawer, say move page number 5 to the end (page number 12) but I just can't figure out how to do that.
I can move Icons, add and remove pages and folders but I can't move an entire page. Is this not possible with the App drawer of TW launcher?
i would like to add empty slots, to spread the apps out a little, rather than having 16 on one page, you could do this using the stock launcher, so why cant i do this on GO Launcher EX ,
View 6 Replies View RelatedMY QUESTION - APPS IN APEX LAUNCHER - Nexus 4
When I install an app (which is typically via the Play Store) the app icon does not end up on my home screen. Or what I think Apex calls a drawer. Occasionally an app does appear there automatically, but perhaps a couple out of the 50 or so apps I've installed.
The only way I have found to get them onto my drawer (or home screen) is I have to hold my finder on the screen and the "Add to Home screen" menu pops up. From there I can select "Shortcuts" and from the top of that menu I can select "Apps". I can then select just ONE app to appear on my home screen. But the thought of doing this for every app doesn't make sense to me. Is there a way to get them there automatically?
Perhaps I am completely misunderstanding the concept of the home screens. I am switching over from iOS, and there one organises all apps on home screens. Perhaps on Android the home screen is not meant for storing and accessing all the app icons??
Trying to find a theme for nova launcher that has nice drawer icon...(where the apps are) no luck atm...

I was wondering if there was a way to link to standard go launcher folders to save the need for a separate folder app. So far I cant find them when I try to put a shortcut to them in programs like swipepad.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed Launcher Pro and set up a couple home screens. It's pretty nice but I don't care for the bland app drawer. I prefer the app drawer that's default on my Samsung Captivate. Is there a way to have Launcher Pro use the default app drawer?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've played with some app organizer apps, but I am wondering if there is one that allows adding folders "inside" the drawer, i.e., not on one of the three home screens. Something that you can have as many folders as you want with whatever you want to name them. any thoughts?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI usually view email with attachments from my pc because I usually lack the time to download the attachment. Today, I had some spare time so I tried to download an attachment. It downloaded fine but when I went to view it, I received a pop-up box to save it to the sd card. After pressing ok, I was told the save was successful but now I can't find it. Aside from pics and videos, how do I access other folders with saved data?

I'm currently developing LeWaOS rom for the htc wildfire. It's based on stable CM7.2
The CMsettings apk is included in the rom, i can go through the CMsettings by making shortcuts on the homescreen for it. BUT can I include it as an individual app in the app drawer so it becomes easier to access ??
If not then is it possible to add it to the settings apk ?

View 4 Replies View RelatedNotification bar doesn't "stick" every time they pull it down? It was a little bouncy in 4.1 but stayed down. Since the 4.2 update, it seems to roll itself back up unless I'm very careful about my swiping motion. Seems quite a bit touchier than before. Granted, we know they messed with that code to add the Quick Actions, so I think it might be a result of the update.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi am trying for a long time and customizing my acro s. i have now come to the part where i want to change the icons in app drawer.

I gave my 5 year old son my old Galaxy S. He loves it and it pretty good with it but he keeps going into the app drawer and going into things he's not supposed to.
Is there a way to lock to app drawer?
I tried Go Launcher and I was able to remove the app drawer. However if he hits the menu button in go launcher, he'd be able to do a whole lot of damage. The phone's rooted.
Is there a app or feature that allows you to change the size of the app drawer, like half of the screen for when you are creating your own custom home screen and such. I would like the apps to be below the picture and not over it. Is it possible? I am rooted (if that makes a difference).

In apps like Gmail and Franco's kernel updater, there is a new interface element that brings out a drawer on the left side on Phone DPI that on Tablet DPI is a split screen.
Is this something that has to be programmed into the app, or something that can be edited into older apps? Mainly I would like that interface in the stock Email application.

So i got an HTC Desire X. And there are a lot of apps in my app drawer. Do you know any method that I can organize the app drawer by rearranging the apps (I can order them by most recent and alphabetical only) or creating folders?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhere the actual folder location for the Downloads app/button that is in the app drawer is. Well, it shows up in the app drawer but I'm sure it's not an app. I'm running 4.4.2. Nothing I've ever downloaded goes there. It always ends up on the sd card in the download folder.
So what is the app/button good for? And is there a way to redirect downloads to go there? Seems like an easy way to check what you downloaded without using a file manager. If it only worked.
My phone is rooted. I want to be able to hide app icons from app drawer. But i want to be able to use it.
I tried CCSW App Manager but when it hides, i couldn't be able to use.
For example 2cloud. When i am going to share url, i can use it from right click. But i don't want 2cloud icon in appdrawer.
I have up facing arrows on 3 icons in the app drawer using Go Launcher. The icons are CLZ Movies, Kies Air and one other that I can't remember.
Thought it might have been an indication that there were updates available for these apps, but checking the market there is nothing.
