General :: LUKS Manager Cannot Find VOL?
Aug 14, 2013I had to clear data and do a force close on LUKS Manager. It now cannot find my .VOL.
How would I go about getting LUKS Manager (Android) to recognize it again, or is this possible?

I accidentally merged some files in astro file manager when I was trying to move some files within the file manager and now I can't find them. I tried a search but I didn't find anything.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have tried with zero success to get a USB debug connection from a WinXP dev box to a brand X Android 1.6 tablet. I believe I had everything configured correctly on the Android and installed correctly on the dev box, but when the two are connected with a USB cable NOTHING HAPPENS; i.e. Windows finds no new hardware much less a new USB device; therefore, I cannot then install the Android SDK USB drivers on Windows and do the debug thing with Eclipse.
Either the mfg of the Android tablet device has disabled USB debugging and just didn't remove the UI that appears to enable it -- or I've left out some crucial step(s). (The device manual is 100% Chinese and I'm 0% Chinese, so it's no help. The tablet is very nearly, but not, the model A84 7" touch screen 'laptop' at 'www.lezestar.com' in case this helps.)
On the tablet:
- 'Settings/Application/Development/USB Debugging' is enabled.
- Tried 'Settings/Application/Development/Allow mock locations' enabled and not.
- Has 500MB internal flash 'hard disk'
- Has installed 2G SD card
- Firmware: 1.6
- Kernel: 2.6.29-002360g4f8dbbb-dirty
- Build No: 1.7.3
On Dev box:
- Windows XP SP3
- Device Manager finds no 'new hardware' when XP<-->Android USB cable is connected.
- Neither USBDeview.exe (Nirsoft) nor USBView.exe (Microsoft) find any evidence of connection with the Android
- Eclipse Galileo (3.5.2) with Android SDK (for 1.6) and ADV Manager.
- USB Driver package, rev 3. downloaded using ADV Manager.
Other:
- USB ports on both Tablet and dev box successfully connect a USB mouse.
- Tablet and Windows XP have been rebooted often.
Is permanently disabling debugging something that Android manufacturors are allowed to do and therefore I'm trying something that can't be done?
If the mfg has 'disabled' debugging, is there a way to work around this; e.g. download a tool that can change Android OS configuration to reenable it?
When i download for example the new jellybean package in the sdk manager I can run it in my emulator wich means that i got the complete ROM. So my question is how to extract that ROM and flash it. Btw I got a Xperia mini st15i with official ics so can I get jellybean on it?

So I got a 2013 Nexus 7 for Christmas and I've been trying to put my iTunes library on it. I already successfully uploaded 2 playlists which work great on the Nexus. Now I've been trying to upload a few more playlists. They seem to upload fine and show up in My Library on the GP Music website. However, these songs are not showing up on my Nexus.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently accidentally deleted the standard ICS Download Manager on my wife's rooted Huawei G300 (I wasn't wearing my glasses...). This means that the Play Store no longer works. I have the identical phone, so I used Titanium to backup the D.Man., copied the files across to the same folder in my wife's phone. Unfortunately, Titanium doesn't "see" the backup. how I could reinstall before my wife finds out...?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for an app manager that will allow me to organize and push install apps to my android device. Google Play's web interface doesn't really allow me to do anything but manually scroll through the hundreds of apps that I have installed over the years...very time consuming. I'm familiar with TiBu and friends, but that's not really what I'm after right now. I'd like to be able to group my apps and install those groups to my phone. I'm pretty much tied to Google Play, I know there are alternative stores but I'm not wanting to go that route right now.
Just being able to sort apps into folders and install folders all through a web app (or PC/MAC GUI) would work.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy wife recently upgraded from Droid RAZR Maxx to a Galaxy S5. one of the things she misses is the old contact manager on the RAZR - because it has a feature that allows her to look at contact details and then swipe left or right to the previous or next contact.
I looked through a few of the more popular contact managers out there and couldn't find one that had this feature.
getting Device Manager working on my new Galaxy S5. If I recall, Device Manager looks at GPS position first. If that is turned off, it rolls to WiFi. If that is off, it rolls to Cell communications. It worked well on my old Galaxy S2, even when GPS was off, it still found the phone within a certain range.
With my Galaxy S5, it doesn't seem to work when GPS is turned of. WiFi or Cell signal will not allow device manager to find the phone.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been with my Droid 4 for about a week, but it has slowed down for some reason.I'm suspecting that it's due to all those open apps, which I don't know how to close. How do you close all apps? Is there task manager? I come from the Windows Mobile world, and, as archaic as the OS was, it was very easy to bring up the task manager, just like in the Desktop Windows OS, and close any or all apps to reclaim memory and speed.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAs you may have heard Android Device Manager has rolled out to 2.2 and above. To activate it, go to settings and then tap Device Administrators. There should be an option to activate Android Device Manager.
To track it and wipe the data follow the directions: Go to [URL]... log in and then click the settings gear under your account info. There should be an option for Android Device Manager.

Is there a task manager that'll kill apps and permanently kill tasks processes? I've noticed that some will kill the task then the task will automatically start back up again...
Looking for the best that'll actually purge the memory and all that.
I rooted my phone last night and it worked and all that and I got the SuperUser app. But before I go into more detail, I have the Galaxy s3 I737 or whatever it is for at&t. I decided that I wanted to put a custom ROM on. I downloaded ROM manager from the play store and then opened it up and downloaded CM 10.1 build and the GApps for it also. I clicked all of the boxes for it to make a back up and to wipe all that stuff also and then it started loading and all that. After it was done loading, the phone restarted and had the little CM guy on there and it had the CM boot logo it said that Setup Wizard has stopped and that the process URL.... has stopped.
