Basically I am looking for something like X-Forwarded-For spoofer so it can add custom ip in the http header for browser. There are such plugins for chrome and firefox but can't find anything for android.

I bought my wife a 16gb SD Card for her Ray and I would like to transfer the content of the current 8GB card to it. However, I did installed some apps on the SD as the Ray's internal storage is so limited. What should I do to be sure that all the apps will run correctly after the transfer? Should I bring all the apps back to the internal storage, then make the transfer then put them back on the new SD ?

Now I wanto to try another kernel but I have already got my phone working with all the different apps that I like.
Is it possible to just flash the kernel to for example Dorimax and still keep the same Rom with data and apps?
If it not possible, can I then restore a backup of the same Rom and apps and data after the kernel has changed?
I want to change my google account for some reason, but all my paid app was registered under my current account, so is it possible to transfer all to my new account without paying it again?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue on my Asus Transformer Prime tablet. I had my account on there and downloaded a bunch of apps and games. My wife signed up for an account and we added that one and removed my account as she has taken over my tablet. LOL. The app/game says there is an update but when we go to the Play Store it will not allow us to update it, it only shows OPEN and UNINSTALL. If I add my account back onto the tablet the option for update is there.
Is there anyway to update the apps/games without my account being on there? I thought about just deleting the game and re-installing it under her account but that would erase all of her progress in the game.
First let me say I think I'm obsessed with my EVO maybe more so about the Android OS in general. Love reading this message board, XDA, Android Guys and all the other sites to learn more every day.However, one thing I've found is its really hard to stay on top of all the apps that are being released on what seems like a daily basis. What's the best way to find the GOOD apps that are being released? I know there is a "just in" section but most of those are junk. Should I rely on Android Guys or sites like this to simply post them or is there a website that tracks this kind of stuff.I used to be a fanboy but now I'm a droid user for life. Really cool to feel apart of a community and seeing dev's on sites like XDA interacting with normal people rather than the old feeling I had with my Iphone where there was "them" then there was "us" and all they wanted to do was profit off us.

Should I just do generic things that tile, or is there a way to design things of static size?

I am wanting to change the icons for a lot of my apps on my home screens. I have been looking at BetterCut, Apps Organizer, and Folder Organizer. Now Apps Organizer is free and Folder Organizer has a free trial version, but Better cut is not free not does BetterCut have a free trial version.
Please tell me what you like/dislike about the apps, primarily BetterCut and Folder Organizer (paid).
*How do they run?
*Are there any major bugs?

I am going to play around with the two free versions of these apps and see if I like them, but unfortunately, BetterCut is an all or nothing app. I just don't want to feel like I wasted any money because the app ended up not doing what I wanted it to do.
Wasn't sure exactly how to ask this, but here we go So, for example, I installed "Dialer One", a dialer replacement.So whenever I hit the "Phone" button, it asks how I want to complete the action. Using Dialer One, or Phone. And it gives me the option to "Use by default for this action".So, lets say I want to use Dialer One by default, but then I change my mind. How do I set it back to the default Phone.Obviously, this question applies to more than just the phone app. After writing all that I think the simple way to ask my question is- I really just want to know how to undo the 'use by default for this action' choices I may make in the future.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a certain group of mp3 files on my device for which I wish to change the album art image. I used a program called "mp3tag" to edit and save each file (from my computer) with the new cover image embeded in the tag info.
However, when I play these tracks the original album art still displays on both my music players (stock player and Just Playlists). If I go back and mount the device as an external drive and view these files again with mp3tag, it still shows the corrected/updated image.
why the correct imbeded cover art will not display when I play the files on my phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Astro because I'm suppose to be able to change the names of my pictures with it but when I open the program I can find all sorts of files, but I can't find a folder for my gallery or my library where the pictures are suppose to be. I think they should be there anyway.
Once I found a place to type a "name" & search but that did not find those file folders either. I thought I might search the "Name" of a photo I have on the phone but now I can't even find where to type in the name/date & time again.
I need to delete the gmail account from my old job off my droid. When i first synced that email account it automatically linked all my existing contacts to that email. so when i try to delete it it deletes all my contacts. Is there a way to change the email account that a contact is linked with? The password has been changed on that email account so im also constantly getting an error message that the account cannot sync.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI keep having to change my default ringtone to my choice, for some unknown reason, it keeps getting changed back to default. I have rings extended and have changed most of my contacts ringtones and they have stayed, but whenever I go to settings and change it and then either shut my phone off, plug it in, whatever, it causes it to go back to default. I have tried ringdroid and that seems to only work as a ringtone maker, it will not show up in the menu to change tones like Rings Extended does. I also moved my ringtones to an appropriate folder for access. I also have adw launcher now (previously Launcherpro plus-which made no difference)
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a couple of FLV format movies on my phone that play fine with the MX Player video app. The problem is, they are not associated with the player. For some reason, they were auto associated with ZA Archiver (winzip type app), so clicking on the vids in my file explorer triggers that app instead. Plus it opens to ZA's browser, meaning I'd have to browse to the vids again to try and open. At that point, ZA then asks what program I want to open them with. Clearing data on ZA didnt' work (How I thought you could remove file type associations), and uninstalling it removed all associations with the movies. It then just gives me an error that the files cannot be opened.
Is there any way I can force FLV's to always open in MX Player? I know I could use MX's built in browser to get to them as well, but just a personal preference thing that I want to use the stock file explorer.

Below is my mms app, and the icon I would like it changed to, (I would do it but I do not have a working computer at the moment.)
I downloaded a theme (suave redone light) and applied it, and as its supposed to, the font changed. But now, whenever I apply a new theme or a font from a certain theme, there's always a few programs that keep the suave font, and after I mess around with the phone for a while, things like the settings, notes, the bible app, change back to the suave font.
It's not like it's a really big deal, but I don't like having some apps with a different font, specially when it's two completely different fonts.
