General :: Huawei A199 - CDMA SIM Isn't Detected?

I just purchased a A199 Huawei dual CDMA/GSM phone from Aliexpress. Prior to purchase i had confirmed with seller that phone isn't locked and that i would be able to use my own provider SIM cards.
When I received the phone only the GSM SIM is detected, the CDMA SIM isn't detected despite using the same 800 Mhz frequency band (CDMA 2000). I then tried to download a ROM file from a chinese forum [url]..., after the flash my phone kept rebooting itself continuously.

I recently rooted my phone with CWM 5.5, all was going well until I decided to flash a new OS onto my phone ( ). But now it won't detect my SIM card or connect to wifi! When I bring down the status/settings bar from the top of the screen, it just says "Emergency Calls Only". I have searched high and low on how to fix this, but I am having no luck. I have downloaded firmware directly off the huawei site and attempted to update by putting an update.app onto my SD card, but it gets halfway through and says "Update failed.". I have booted into CWM and have tried to flash the stock kernel, but this dosen't work. don't think I backed up my phone properly, as I went to backup in CWM, then tried to restore the backup later, but that didn't work either.

My phone is a brand spanking new 7inch Dual SIM Android 4.1 JXD P1000. The phone suddenly decided it would not turn on yesterday, and now when I plug it in to my computer while turned off and run the memory test on SP FlashTool, It says that the External Ram is not detected, and that the EMMC is not detected either. (I have flashtool as I used to mess around with other MTK's)

I have a sd card that was working on my phone, suddenly sd card stopped working and my phone cant detect him. I tried to connect on my pc and my pc also dont detect it. Tried in various ways, tried with usb phone cable, tried with card reader tried with usb card reader, my sd card is just not detected.
I Also tried various softwares to format it but i cant do anything because nothing detect the card.
Please dont tell me to format sdcard, or mount sdcard in phone etc.... cant do anything because i cant acces that option because sdcard IS NOT DETECTED!

I got my techno f7 bricked after rooting and trying to install chain fire 3d. I tried to flash it with SPF flash tool but ended up making the matter worse as the phone is no longer recognised when I plug it into the system.... no sound

My tablet is: Asus Transformer TF300T (rooted)
What I did:
- I accidentally wiped all data in tablet - ROM, etc. Only left is Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) v2.2.0 recovery
- I put Android.zip (installation files) into MicroSD Card / uSD Card
- I boot into recovery (TWRP)
- TWRP does not read/detect the SD Card
- There is no files in /sdcard except one; /sdcard/TWRP/.twrps
I also
- installed adb on PC
- did 'adb devices' - no device detected when connect between tablet and PC How?

ok so ive tryed rooting my sophix 8 and ive installed the adb drivers and my Tab is reconized as ADB, well when i try to root it with eather cmd promp, oneclickrecovery,root_with_recovery, superoneclick, and razorroot, the device is not detected, idk why but ive tryed almost everything with cmd promp and reintalling the drivers and such.

As i wasnt actually aware of what i was doing, i accidently flashed a zip file using the stock recovery on my galaxy mini and yeah, now its bricked. After a lot of googling and reading forums, I assume that the phone can be fixed using odin. So, I have downloaded odin and put the phone on download mode, but when i connect the phone to the pc, there is no response whatsoever from the PC. But the phone is charging when connected. The phone can be booted into recovery mode, download mode and emergency download mode. I tried many USB cables, all the usb ports and 2 different PCs. Still no luck. I feel something is wrong with the usb port of the phone. It does look a little distorted as well. So basically, i cannot use odin and was wondering if there is anyway to fix the phone without using odin...

This is probably a common problem, I saw lots of threads but I can't find any solutions to it, and I really want to make my phone faster i.e. root
Phone: LG P990 (Optimus 2x)
Phone not detected by the computer when connected through USB.
What I tried:
1. Factory reset (only data)
2. Cleaning the port with a toothbrush
3. Uninstalling and re-installing drivers
4. Replacing the cable I was using with the OEM one (I lost my original together with my charger)
5. Plugging into different computers and USB ports
6. Checking and unchecking the option of connecting through mass storage only
7. Enabling and disabling USB debugging
What's so incredible about my problem is that the phone actually knows that it is connected to the computer - the USB tethering option is available and it says that USB's connected - but the USB connection icon on the status bar for mass storage doesn't show up.

I bought my Motorola Xt531 about 2 months ago. Since then, I rooted it, uninstalled carrier apps, just the usual. Recently (like 2 weeks ago), I tried to take a picture with it, but in the moment I launched de camera app, a message flashed saying that the camera stopped responding (the exact message, in portuguese was "A camera parou de responder") and since then, all I can use when I enter the camera app (stock, or any other) is the front camera.
I tried reseting the phone, clearing app cache and data, and nothing solved the problem. Is it a hardware issue? (it never fell on the floor, or under water, nothing like that).

I have an MSI Windpad Enjoy 7 Tab that I used to to connect to an ELM327 OBDII bluetooth dongle for car diagnostics (torque app).
After upgrading from froyo to gingerbread, my tablet bluetooth doesn't detect the elm327 anymore, it also doesn't detect my car kit but it still detects other android phones perfectly well.
I know it's not a hardware problem or incompatibility since I already paired that device to this tablet before, it's a scan problem.
So here's my question: is there a way to "force feed" the bluetooth address of a device into android so it doesn't have to rely on a scan to find it?

i had custom PMP light rom installed on my device. i then wanted to install SilverNexus kernel given here:URL.... so downloaded it & flashed it via CWM recovery
after that it keeps boot looping, also cant enter into CWM recovery. can't even install old kernel via Odin. odin is not detecting it anymore.somehow if i can replace my old kernel files read many threads. seems like Heimdall....but i m getting "ERROR: Failed to initialise protocol!" wen trying to generate pit file

I've used SP Flash tool to replace rom, and accidently pressed "Format" instead of "Download".
now, the phone recognizes the SIM card, but could not connect to mobile network at all! also, on engineer menu, I go to Radio Information and it doesn't display my phone number. and there's a "gsm service: out of service".
I've managed to restore my IMEI using MTK6575 Imei Restore tool. but still it doesn't work

I THINK when i clicked a certain CPU speed in overclocking, it kinda stuck and restarted and had no signal at all... I flashed it again a couple of times even the beta cyanogenmod and dardroidXD, factory reset, wipe data, cache, remove battery. i flashed it with the original firmware with different version but still no avail..

This is unlike my previous S4, where it can give me the precise readings (but of course not as accurate as a real multimeter).

I deleted /system folder on my nexian cosmic journey. And now my nexian is stuck...
I try to using fastboot mode to flash recovery image, but my device seems not detected. I already installed the android composite driver, but when i use "fastboot devices" command, it shows (?) So how the heck to get my nexian back to normal?..
Or perhaps, if i just be able to put back the /system folder to its place again, it would be more easy to recover it... But how access the root when phone is like that?

so my galaxy s2 has been running on RR 3.0.5 with the latest siyah kernel. A problem I've been having is frequent media corruptions, and to solve that, I thought reformatting the internal storage would work. After doing so, it doesn't recognize my sdcard. What can I do to fix this?

I've been trying to port a rom ovef to my cdma Xperia play from a gsm Xperia play I cannot find what files need replaced to get service for my cdma port attempt I've swapped out my baseband files the rild file I've switched out the (here's the weird part) baseband files and both framework-res.apk and framework. Jar I get the full working service but I have to litereally tear apart the port rom and basically make it a stock rom so its not really a port rom if I have nothing from the port rom. I'm confused and cant seem to get service or any answer on the files needed to swap I knobthe build.prop is built correctly

I have a huge problem recently I have booth a Samsung Galaxy S 4 SCH-R970 with carrier US CELLULAR and seems to use CDMA frequency only I was not aware that are difrent type of frequencies and the seller wont to have the phone back so for me is realy important that I can find a solution here.
