I recently organized all my apps into folders on my home screen. I'm wondering if there is a way to sync that organization to a tablet, and eventually a new phone.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI am looking for an application that would let me organize my main Android menu using folders or groups of icons. Preferably in a similar way iPhone OS 4 does it but I'm not picky and anything that would help me to sort out the cluster of programs I use would be appreciated. I only look for two features in this application:
1. That it organizes in groups (under one icon) or folders applications in Android main menu (and not on the main screens with widgets).
2. That it was free as there's no paid apps at the moment in the Market where I live.So, if anyone could help me or know of an application like that I'd appreciate all the help!
i'm just about to get my tf300 and was wondering if it's possible to sync things between them for example photos.Also if there is a possibility to sync game data for example if I play angry birds on my phone then the progress would be synced to my tablet??

I know the tabs have only been out for a short time, but has anyone seen an app for sync between an Android phone to the Tab? I would love the ability to have my phone in the other room and have my tab ring or show me I have an incoming/missed call or waiting text, on my phone. Even better would be the ability to read that text and respond via my tablet.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am developing using Eclipse and the targeted SDK version is API 7 (Version 2.1). My phone has Android version 2.1-update1.
When running on the emulator, the contacts have an Organization section and within that section is Work Company, Title... When running on the phone, all contacts (Google and Phone) don't have the Organization section. So the app runs on the emulator but not the real phone.
I am using the API 5 class ContactsContract.CommonDataKinds.Organization to update Contact Organization. Why is the emulator different that the phone?
So i'm wondering if there's an app that will automatically sync a folder on my phone and tablet together?
ie.. lets say i take a pic or record a video with my phone, can some app automatically sync that folder to my tablet?
i setup my Google account to sync my personal data which includes Wifi passwords. So I went to a friends router and entered the password into my smartphone and connected to the Wifi successfully. While in the network I synced my smartphones Google account. Then I enabled Wifi hotspot on my smartphone in order to sync my N7 Google account to receive the newly synced password. But sadly after syncing I couldn't connect to the Wifi because the password was not synced. What did I do wrong?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm basically looking for an app, that can provide syncronisation between a folder on my device, and a folder on <insert cloud storage here>. I'm personally trying to migrate away from Dropbox, of which I've been a heavy user for many years. But in the light of the recent NSA gate, I thought I'd take a look what else is out there. I've chosen MEGA, as they provide (on paper) the security I like, and enough storage for my cloud-storage-needs.
I've been using Dropbox to automatically store the images I've taken with my phone camera and I take a backup of my texts every night at 2pm, which is also, automagically, uploaded to Dropbox. The official MEGA app takes care of the first, but the latter is taken care of within the backup app itself. It can be disabled, though.
I've looked for sync apps, but neither those or apps like Helium doesn't support MEGA.
It seems amazon really makes things a little complicated trying to concert PDF files into ePub files and sync with the default kindle app. I cannot get kindle to recognize the books I converted for anything. I downloaded file explorer and I'm moving it into the kindle app and into the amazon android folder and no luck. Does converted PDFs to other formats know which folder it's supposed to go into?

I'm not sure if they're full apps or just simply icons to download apps or get more information. I have tried to avoid using them. I know previously I had a couple apps that were sending notifications to the notification system that I considered to be spam. After some research I found out how you can find out which apps are doing it and disable notifications from those apps so that took care of that.

how to screen mirror between my Samsung galaxy note 3 and my Samsung galaxy 10.1. i want to watch movies i have downloaded, through Google play, on my phone on my tablet for a bigger screen. I have sprint for my phone and my tablet has no service. Where this connection needs to happen is in places with little or no service. And before you say just download movies to my tablet when i'm hooked to wifi, i have. My tablet only holds 3 movies at a time, while my phone holds more than 10.

And since they both have bluetooth capabilities it should be possible to use it in this manner, right? I do not want to use one of those hideous, uncomfortable bluetooth headsets because im already going to have a bluetooth device (the phone) with me that im more comfortable using. I use my xperia z2 tablet at the gym to watch TV shows because the treadmill is even more uninteresting than the landscape around my place. I don't like to be hooked up to it via headphones because I don't want to accidentally pull it over. So - I use a bluetooth audio receiver I plug my headphones into, and they receive the audio from the tablet (which is paired with the receiver).
I would prefer to just use my phone in place of the receiver, because the receiver is cheap and doesn't work so well (and i cant believe it can't be done).
I thought two options could be:
1 using the phone as a bluetooth receiver, or
2 somehow using the wifi hotspot on the phone to enable the audio from the tablet to play through the phone.
Does something already exist or is it even possible?
When I set up my tablet it synced a few apps from the play store, but since then I have installed a bunch of other ones on my phone that I want on my tablet.
