View 1 RepliesI'm usin sony xperia tipo dual st21i2. Two days back I have rooted my mobile using unlockroot. Yesterday i was trying to install custom ROM, for that i booted my mobile in recovery mode using install.bat. In recovery mode took back up and wiped data and cache then installed the zip file(ST21i JBMP5.zip) from SD card and rebooted. Now the mobile got stuck with the screen showing JB MINIPROJECT and a circle was revolving in anticlockwise around the number 10. I pulled the battery and tried to boot in recovery mode but no use. whatever i do the mobile stuck with the same screen.

I have SONY XPERIA tipo with 803MB Internal Sotrage and 2.20 GB.
I have rooted the phone, and set external 32GB card as the default SD card (i.e. phone thinks its internal memory is 32GB) via changes in /etc/vold.fstab file.
The result is that phone regards the 2.20GB space as external memory.
I can move many applications to 32GB card, however some applications e.g. BusyBox, GCC Toolchain, and Chrome are not movable to Internal storage (32GB) or external storage (2.20GB).
Since the 2.20GB space is of no use for me, and it is mounted under the same device where "phone memory" 803 MB is mounted i.e. :
/dev/block/mmcblk0 = 3909 MB
/dev/block/mmcblk0p11 = 524 MB
/dev/block/mmcblk0p11 = 167 MB
/dev/block/mmcblk0p15 = 803 MB
/dev/block/mmcblk0p16 = 2311 MB
Surely, the last partition "/dev/block/mmcblk0p16 = 2311 MB" is the free storage not being used, and "/dev/block/mmcblk0p15 = 803 MB" is the phone memory, which I want to extend/increase.
My question is: Is it possible to merge the alst 2 partitions (e.g. by formatting 2.2GB space and then merging it with the 803MB space. This way my phone will have its system memory pretty large, and I will be able to install more applets through BusyBox as well as Chrome etc.
Does Xperia Tipo have quick dialing options? All the previous phones had that function..I can't find it on my phone.

Multi-touch issue, was promised late last year then was announced that it wasn't going to happen, can we replace the digitizer so we can get dual/multi-touch? Ninth Issue Now it seems that SE don't want to talk about Multi-touch, I just don't understand how come Xperia X10 has a single touch digitizer but X10mini has a dual touch digitizer but it's disabled so it can only work as a single touch. My question is this: Can we replace the digitizer in the Xperia X10 to a Dual or Multi-touch digitizer? Multi-touch fiasco: SE kept saying that Xperia X10 was Dual/Multiple touch capable, it was confirmed during Mobile World Congress, it was later "corrected", and Sumit Malhotra in the official Sony Ericsson blog said that the Xperia X10 was going to have Multi-touch with an OS update which few months later and after thousands of unanswered post by customers and SE fans we learned the truth that its not software but a hardware issue, in other words, its cheaper for SE to buy single touch digitizer for a 4inch screen than ironically buying a dual touch digitizer for the x10 mini but block it through software, yeah the x10 mini has hardware capable of dual touch but: " I noted some of your comments asking for the multi touch support. Having shared our personal experiences using the new UI within our team, we just love it the way it is and think that multi-touch would actually just destroy the simplicity of using these products. To avoid any speculation I can confirm that we do not have any intention to implement multi touch on X10 mini and X10 mini pro." View 4 Replies View RelatedI've rooted my Xperia X10 to the R2BA023. My problem is that I can no-longer connect to The Market, Internet, or E-mail. I can do everything though if I switch on my WiFi. I've tried rooting backdown to v20 with no luck, and I've tried redoing v23 several times. I am on Rogers/Fido in Ontario Canada.
