View 4 RepliesI'm new to XDA. I hope you will guide me along here. I am using a Cherry Mobile Flare S100 (a.k.a. Karbon A9+) with a custom ROM and has Lidroid Toggles. I was just wondering, is there any way to add more toggles (*like Recent Apps, app shortcuts, etc) in Lidroid?

Toggle buttons are deleted, but will remain only blank space... how this blank space remove? (notifications moved completely up!)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am currently running ICS 4.0.4 on my motorola razr and I downloaded the app "power toggles" from google play [URL] ....
The one thing that annoys me the most is that I made the notification icon transparent but the problem is that there is a huge space left when for example receiving messages or downloading apps. I am wondering, is there a way to remove that annoying space? I know in JB there is a option for removing notifications as default but I am currently running ICS...
I read about some other people having the same problem here -> [URL] .....
When I play music on my RAZR (JB 4.1.2) via Poweramp, its notification always overrides Power Toggles' one. I mean Poweramp stays on top and then comes PT being the second. The latter has specially designed "notification priority" feature which is set to 5/5, and it works perfectly until I start Poweramp. I have never faced such problem before as I used both applications and they did not interfere with each other.
So is there a way to raise PT's notification priority or drop the Poweramp's one instead? May be some "notification priority manager" or anything...
Tried Notification Toggles app which is similar to PT, but thing was the same, so it's Poweramp issue.
I am currently an iPhone 4s user and really like the way that the switch toggles between no sound (vibrate) and sound. I leave me phone in vibrate mode for most of the day and in the evening I tend to switch it to sound so I can hear the alerts from around my house when I don't have the phone with me. I am thinking about switching to an android device (S4 or HTC One) and have a few friends that haven't been able to duplicate the behavior of the iPhone. They get sound with vibration or some other weird combinations that wont work for me. Is this a limitation of the OS or is it device specific? I basically want everything to vibrate (Ringer, SMS, Email) with the option of changing everything to sound, no combinations of the two. I also need to distinguish between types of messages by using different vibration patterns.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy friend has the new Samsung Captivate and I love the radio toggles that appear at the top of the notification list when you pull it down to turn on/off bluetooth, wifi, etc. I know that is part of TouchWiz. Are there any apps that can give a non-Samsung phone something similar? I think that is much better than having the toggle widgets on a home screen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to toggle the apps we have on our home screens on/off? Right now I don't have a live wallpaper but when I do (I change wallpapers often), I'd like to show some people the phone colors without the icons on it.
Is there any program/widget that anyone knows of that toggles them on/off?
Are there any apps out there that mimic the galaxy s's toggles in the pull-down menu?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy only complaint about the Droid is the seeming lack of options for notifications.
Is there a way, or an app, that would allow you to assign different notifications to emails vs texts vs missed calls?
Also, does anyone know if there's a way to set the phone to re-notify you periodically if you have a notification that has not been looked at? I tend to leave my phone sitting on my desk at work and would like it to let me know if I missed a call or text while I was away from my desk.
Ideally I'd like to silence email notifications, but have text and missed call notifications with unique ring tones for each, and I'd like the phone to renotify me every 10 minutes or so if I have a text or missed call waiting for me.
I have had my Epic 4g for two days now and I am having the some notification and email problems. I don't get notifications when new email is available. I only get my email to show up on my inbox on my phone ONLY when i open email. I currently have it set to to check email every 5 minutes but this is obviously not happening. and i dont get a blinking LED when i get a SMS, Text message.
View 6 Replies View RelatedAfter switching to the latest pac man rom, it seems as though I have no new push messages whatsoever. This includes after opening the app as well (it doesn't notify me of unread posts after I open xda)
View 3 Replies View RelatedUpdate:I got a app called "GMail Label Notifier"...it serves the same purpose and is really much more flexible since you can assign unique alerts to each trigger You just need to setup filters in Gmail to apply a label. I have been using it a week or so now and it seems to work great.
I have moved from a BB Tour to the HTC Incredible and really like the Android OS.
A few things I really rely on though I can't seem to replicate on Android. The most important is the "Level 1" or high importance message tagging. With BIS I could setup a filter so that any emails with a specific word or words in the subject line or from a specific email address caused a different alert on the BB when received.
Also, I can't find many options for different notifications like a specific one for emails, another for SMS, another for voice mails, etc.
I've come from an Iphone 4S to a Galaxy S4. I'm really liking android and I don't know why I thought iPhone was better, android is just amazing. I don't really like the way notifications are handled. On IOS you get a banner which yes can be obtrusive but I could click on the notification and it would take me to the app. For example if I got a comment on a Facebook post and was notified then I could click on the banner and it would take me to that post on Facebook so I could see the comment.
While android notifications are way less obtrusive I don't seem to be able to click on them to open the app and instead I have to open the notification shade to click on them. I would like to be able to tap the status bar when it changes to a notification but I don't seem to be able to. I have gotten round this by downloading an app that adds IOS banner like notifications that work just fine and I can still swipe them to dismiss them. However I would like to be able to tap the status bar when it changes into a small like banner thing.
Is there any way to get notifications across the top of my phone or light notification when I get email, facebook, messenger, etc. when I am using wifi and have limited 3g connection? (such as when I am at work). The messages will come thru but I don't know they are there unless I actually go into the application to check them.
By the way I have a Driod Razr Maxx. I don't know what generation. I've had it for about 8 months.
I am not receiving any sort of notifications when I receive new e-mails. I am not using google mail, but my e-mail addresses are linked with the Samsung e-mail app. In order to see my new e-mails I must open to app and click on the refresh button. What I need to do in order to receive e-mail notifications automatically, even when my phone is locked? I AM A SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 USER

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to UNGROUP the notifications. Here's Why If you get a message, it will show in the notification bar the sender and the preview. However if you receive 2 messages, it will only show 2 MESSAGES, and you wont know from whom nor see the preview untill you open that notification.
Same as Missed calls, same as so many others apps.
So, my question is, IS THERE A WAY TO UNGROUP NOTIFICATIONS? Mod/Tweak?
Whenever a new notification appears in my notification bar on stock gb rom its always accompanied by the same four browser notifications from months back saying download completed.
I downloaded some images off net for my blog using browser and even when I click clear to clear the notifications its only the same four download completed ones reappear.
Is there some way to manually remove them permanently assuming they are stored on device and for some reason not getting deleted properly?
Ive been using the GoSMS scheduled SMS - and sending texts to myself to act as a reminder with the pop-up notifications.
Works pretty well, but it is a bit of a hassle going through the process of setting up the scheduled text.
I recently discovered COL Reminder, which does do exactly as i want - but the UI isn't as stylish as i would like.
Any.DO is pretty good too, using the task list and having pop-up reminders when set.
Any other reminder apps which have pop-up notifications (rather than just the status bar icon notification)?
I noticed late last night that since my update I am no longer getting any notifications (Facebook, Gmail, Twitter etc etc) since updating to 4.3 on my Nexus 7.
I had a look with in the settings but cannot find anyway of turning them back on.
