View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm new to XDA. I hope you will guide me along here. I am using a Cherry Mobile Flare S100 (a.k.a. Karbon A9+) with a custom ROM and has Lidroid Toggles. I was just wondering, is there any way to add more toggles (*like Recent Apps, app shortcuts, etc) in Lidroid?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I play music on my RAZR (JB 4.1.2) via Poweramp, its notification always overrides Power Toggles' one. I mean Poweramp stays on top and then comes PT being the second. The latter has specially designed "notification priority" feature which is set to 5/5, and it works perfectly until I start Poweramp. I have never faced such problem before as I used both applications and they did not interfere with each other.
So is there a way to raise PT's notification priority or drop the Poweramp's one instead? May be some "notification priority manager" or anything...
Tried Notification Toggles app which is similar to PT, but thing was the same, so it's Poweramp issue.
My friend has the new Samsung Captivate and I love the radio toggles that appear at the top of the notification list when you pull it down to turn on/off bluetooth, wifi, etc. I know that is part of TouchWiz. Are there any apps that can give a non-Samsung phone something similar? I think that is much better than having the toggle widgets on a home screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am currently running ICS 4.0.4 on my motorola razr and I downloaded the app "power toggles" from google play [URL] ....
The one thing that annoys me the most is that I made the notification icon transparent but the problem is that there is a huge space left when for example receiving messages or downloading apps. I am wondering, is there a way to remove that annoying space? I know in JB there is a option for removing notifications as default but I am currently running ICS...
I read about some other people having the same problem here -> [URL] .....
I am currently an iPhone 4s user and really like the way that the switch toggles between no sound (vibrate) and sound. I leave me phone in vibrate mode for most of the day and in the evening I tend to switch it to sound so I can hear the alerts from around my house when I don't have the phone with me. I am thinking about switching to an android device (S4 or HTC One) and have a few friends that haven't been able to duplicate the behavior of the iPhone. They get sound with vibration or some other weird combinations that wont work for me. Is this a limitation of the OS or is it device specific? I basically want everything to vibrate (Ringer, SMS, Email) with the option of changing everything to sound, no combinations of the two. I also need to distinguish between types of messages by using different vibration patterns.

Is there any program/widget that anyone knows of that toggles them on/off?

I already downloaded one but not synchronized to google account and not opened the market.
I noticed a file '/system/priv-app/CMS.apk' (url...) on the latest cm-11 nightly for mako.
I wonder what is it? I can't find an appropriate source code on CMs GitHub. Is this going to be a custom client library like Google Play Services? Why is there no source code on GitHub?
for my own usage, I would like to integrate an app to CyanogenMod, which should be compiled with CM. How do I do that?

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy current GS3 apparently had water damage, and a new one is coming from the insurance tomorrow. I figured that since the warranty is up and the insurance won't replace it again, I may as well finally root and flash a custom rom. From my poking around the internet, I like CyanogenMod 10.1. I am on AT&T.
I've only attempted a root once before with this current phone, which I think worked, but I abandoned the project months ago and don't remember. In any case, besides that, I've never rooted or flashed a rom before.
After further poking around on the internet, these are the sources I'm planning on using to successfully root and rom:
Rooting: How to Root the Samsung Galaxy S3 " XDA Developer TV " xda-developers
And for the ROM, I'm going to follow this video:
I understand that after rooting, I have to create a backup (using that Titan Backup app in the video I think?" and i am going to use Goo Manager to download the ROM and gapps. I saw another video that had me move files from the computer to my phone, but they didn't do any backing up, and apparently that's necessary.
What does it mean to "trip a flash counter"? And what is a toolkit, and do I need it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC Inspire 4g running Mustaavalkosta's unofficial Cyanogenmod 10.1 ROM. Everything works great, except my Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 5000, which is an HID Bluetooth keyboard (no SPP). I get a proper PIN exchange and it pairs with my phone successfully, but I can't actually type anything with the keyboard, and it does not appear in the Languages and Input section of the Settings app. The keyboard itself is good because I can use it with my laptop and an iPad.
I've tried apps like BlueInput, MyBlueCon, and Bluetooth keyboard easyconnect, but all fail to make a connection with my keyboard. In the case of BlueInput, I get a message that "this Android does not support Bluetooth HID."
What's the difference between cyanogenmod and aokp.
I mean I used them both on ics and personally I found aokp to be better. What are your views about the jelly bean ones.

I have successfully downloaded 296/298 projects of CyanogenMOD's gingerbread source but the last 2 files 297 and 298 (prebuilt.git) I can't download that in every attempt the download freeze at near 500mb or above 1GB. I was trying to download that over a weeks. So need prebuilt.git file from CyanogenMOD's CM7 source .repo folder?
