My phone stolen, some prats smashed my window through and took everything. I've tried installing all of those tracking apps, but it seems my phones either constantly turned off, or has been wiped.
One day they are bound to use my phone, and set up another google account with it. I was wondering, is there anyway that I could find out what google account they use?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI haven't used this phone (Sprint Samsung epic 4g touch) ever since I bought an iPhone 5. (yes I know, don't judge) and I lent it to a cousin and it got stolen. Now I want to know if there's a way to know if someone else is using the phone with my google account. I went into the play store online and downloaded some apps and apparently they installed but when I check my devices it says last activity over a few weeks ago.
So I really don't care that it's stolen, I just don't want anyone accessing my google account and email. Is a password change enough to block anyone using the phone with my google account?
I just got the Galaxy S yesterday and so far I love it.But when I added my Google account for syncing purposes, it sync'd my contacts and calendar twice.It's really annoying.So I get 2 email notifications for the same email and I see 2 of the same entries in my calendar.When I go into SETTINGS -> Accounts, I see 2 Google accounts. One has the Google symbol in Blue, the other is in Black.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAny way to merge Google Play accounts? I have two email accounts on my phone, I wish to take that down to one but there are purchased apps in both accounts at Google Play. I looked into this some time ago and Google told me back then that they could not merge accounts -- which I thought was rather ridiculous. Doesn't Google have the (sometime scary) power to do just about anything? Anyway, they told me that I'd have to contact each and every paid app maker that I'd purchased from and see if they'd give me a new download under a different email addy since I'd already paid once. I finally gave up and just re-purchased the most important apps.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've used IOS for a while and wanted to try something different. That being the case I bought a google nexus 7 to play around with it. I have 2 google+ accounts set up on this phone because I play a game called Clash of Clans. I had to link both my IOS accounts over to 2 google play accounts. Now when I connect via Wi-Fi anywhere, it downloads the emails from both accounts. Is there a way for only allow for one of them to download? I'm not too familiar with this new operating system, so maybe I'm just not looking in the right spot.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHave had an ongoing problem with error 403 in the Google Play Store.In this case, the issue seems to have arisen because I have historically used 2 google accounts to purchase apps. 'Account A' from 4 to 3 years ago, and 'Account B' from 3 years onwards.
I now only have 'Account B' on my phone (N7000), however, some of the apps which I purchased with 'Account A' still appear as purchased in my Google Play Store, even although phone can be hard reset with no further 'Account A' reference. So I get this 403 download problem, although I wouldn't even mind just buying some apps afresh with 'Account B'. Also, maybe of relevance, the same card was used to purchase on both accounts.
Is there a way I can 'clear' the original 'Account A' purchases?
I have the phone running Android 2.3.4 (rooted).I have two Google accounts setup on my phone. I use both of them as there are apps purchased from both accounts.
I would like to sync contacts from my phone to BOTH the accounts. As of now, contacts are being synced to just one Google Account. In the "Accounts and Sync", I see both the Google Accounts listed, with the "Sync Contacts" option enabled for both accounts.
Is it possible to sync contacts to both GOOGLE accounts from the phone? If yes, how?
I have a problem with my android phone. During the holidays I added my mothers and girlfriends gmail-account to my android phone (android 4.0) so they could check their email at wifi points. Afterwards (about a week ago now) I removed their accounts again. So, there is no trace from their accounts left on my phone. However, I just noticed that when they go to the play store on a pc, they can still install apps! Even though they are not logged in to my phone! I tried it, and indeed, my phone started downloading the app.
Googling how to stop this did not turn up anything useful, How do I disable their ability to install apps? I even added the accounts again to the phone, made sure all syncing was off, removed them (with all syncing off), and it still worked!

Galaxy S f/w 2.1. It doesn't find either of my bluetooth devices - headset and handsfree. My old phone worked fine on both of them.
I enable Bluetooth. The icon goes nice and green. The blue squiggly thing appears in the top bar.
I activate my VisorBlade hands-free device. It beeps and the right lights come on. But no glimmer of recognition from the Galaxy. I go to Settings > Wireless and Network > Bluetooth > Scan Devices. Nothing found.
I switch on my Plantronics Voyager 520 and it beeps and the right lights come on. Phone remains nonchalently aloof. Scan for devices. Nothing doing.
But. My PC finds the phone when I do the Make Device Visible thing.
I posted earlier about finding apps that are now no longer on the Android Market. More so I wanted the Sickipedia app but it isn't showing anymore on the Market. Is there a place where I can go and find lists of apps that I can download as apk's and then install using Astro File Manager? Would also be great if someone actually had a link to the Sickipedia apk. Everything I have found in Google so far directs me to a link for the Android Market but the particular app doesn't exist there anymore.

Ever since the RC33 update where the new Maps version came out with Latitude included....my Latitude acct has been...well...off.
I'm running my GPS when Maps is used...rather than a triangulation method w/ the towers. However...there have been QUITE a few occurances where Latitude shows me in a totally different STATE. I live in metro Atlanta, but apparently, I spend a lot of time at a country club near DFW in Texas. Once, I was going down the road...started up Maps, and it was tracing me going up an interstate in a city 120 miles away from me. At the time, I was no where NEAR an interstate...but Maps was showing my movement second by second.
This is rather irritating. Google developed the O/S, they developed Latitude...yet Latitude seems to work fine on other phones OTHER than the G1. Upon reading up on Google's Help Forums...I'm not the only one with problems when it comes to Latitude and Android.
I purchased a nexus5 off of some guy that was selling one in my local area. The phone was in the original box and I was pumped at getting one for a bit cheaper than they are on the play store. Although this last week it randomly could not connect to the network, so I called Telus (my Canadian provider) and after a half hour of troubleshooting they told me that the IMEI is blacklisted as a lost or stolen device? Is there anyway I can change the IMIE address?

These actions could be activated always or by your activating them on a website (like apps that allowed you to locate your phone)
This would be useful if your phone is stolen, you could locate your phone if it's stolen because the the phone wouldn't be switched off or wiped

View 6 Replies View RelatedIt seems that 2.2 locks google talk into the first google account you sign up with.I thought on 2.1 I could sign in to the account I wanted to use, however it appears that's not the case now.I use gmail (for google checkout) however my main "google" account is an apps account.So I believe for the market to be associated correctly with my gmail account, that one needs to be created first.Any way to get google talk to use my apps account, or any way to play with the accounts (create, clear/remove, re-add) to get them setup so the market works with my gmail account but gtalk uses my apps account?

However, after some thought, I decided to create a personal Gmail account and wanted ALL of my phone's contacts to sync with THAT newly created personal Gmail account. No can do.Although I have the original Gmail account's settings on "off" (not to sync at all), when I sync the phone to Google, all calendar events are there on the new G account, but NOT the contacts. They are simply not coming over?
