Now I have managed to take apart the single .img file into multiple .img files, customized and rooted it with dsixda's kitchen and rebuild the ROM. Now my question is, can I somehow convert the zipped package back into the multiple .img files, or even into the single .img file so I can flash it with RKupdate or RKbatchtool? As long as I have the requisite SDK files and a terminal on an Android device, or if I'm doing this programmatically in an app I'd develop, can I use adb to push a file from one device to another that's connected via USB? The devices will be a Nexus 4 and probably a Nexus 7. The N7 would be the sender, fwiw. I'm hoping that it's not required that the device executing the adb push commands be a computer as opposed to a mobile device.
I'm assuming that I can find a cable that's micro USB (if that's what it's called) at both ends to connect the two devices.
Is it possible to do the same thing via a Bluetooth connection? Or can adb only recognize a device connected via USB?

I have xprivacy installed and even when I uncheck all options for Google maps and try to find my current location with it, the gps sign flashes in the notification area but never gets a fix on my location. My question is simple:

However for some reason when I try to do it now, I get an error message saying "Cannot copy item: This device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected." even though it shows up on my explorer. It was working fine like a day ago. I have rebooted my computer and everything, but it just won't work.

I have chosen for the music to be "on the device", and it plays when even in Airplane Mode, so I know it is not streaming, but the music files do not show up in my "Music" directory tree, or under any other file trees that I can find. I am not extracting the tar to get the zImage. The zImage is what is there originally. I have tried multiple sources of CF Root, but get the same problem.

i want to know if there is a way to extract a .kdz file to have the apps that are inside it,i need it to do so ,because i deleted some libraries and i dont have a backup ,cause there is not cwm recovery for this phone,and yes,i know i should have made a copy of the files with root explorer to the sd card,but i totally forgot it.
