I'm working on a Jelly Bean port. Can i use ICS device files for my galaxy and include them into the JB Build.
Did i must change many things in that files or can i leave it at the most parts?

I have a Samsung vitality and I have a problem with install/updating apps such as
Facebook
Needforspeedshift (paid)
Police scanner
Tetris
Root explorer
And several others and I have had them all installed before and worked fine and now market says device not compatible and says the same to some apps that are still installed when I try to update them.
some apps in Google play says device not compatible How to remove 'your device is not compatible' from Google play store.My phone is x10 mini and it is rooted.

I'm using windows 7 and a sony Xperia J.I rebooted both already, and re-installed the drivers (assuming I installed the correct drivers, but I'm pretty sure I did)
I'm interested in trying out Qik but when I check the list of compatible phones (Qik | Supported Devices) the Incredible isn't listed. Does anyone know if this phone is compatible with a download that is meant for another phone (Eris)? View 1 Replies View RelatedAs long as I have the requisite SDK files and a terminal on an Android device, or if I'm doing this programmatically in an app I'd develop, can I use adb to push a file from one device to another that's connected via USB? The devices will be a Nexus 4 and probably a Nexus 7. The N7 would be the sender, fwiw. I'm hoping that it's not required that the device executing the adb push commands be a computer as opposed to a mobile device.
I'm assuming that I can find a cable that's micro USB (if that's what it's called) at both ends to connect the two devices.
Is it possible to do the same thing via a Bluetooth connection? Or can adb only recognize a device connected via USB?
I am having trouble finding the right command to copy a file from a device via adb shell to my pc. I tried -mv- but that just renamed it.

I have xprivacy installed and even when I uncheck all options for Google maps and try to find my current location with it, the gps sign flashes in the notification area but never gets a fix on my location. My question is simple:
I think I may have accidentally deleted some GPS files from my phone /device location. How do I check or what files do I look for in particular (and their location precisely) to make sure that I deleted my files and its not an issue in some other place before I go reporting a bud to the developer.

However for some reason when I try to do it now, I get an error message saying "Cannot copy item: This device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected." even though it shows up on my explorer. I have chosen for the music to be "on the device", and it plays when even in Airplane Mode, so I know it is not streaming, but the music files do not show up in my "Music" directory tree, or under any other file trees that I can find. I have used ES File Explorer to do a top down search for some of the missing titles, but it doesn't find them. I'm perplexed. There must be a cache somewhere, but I can't find it.

In an earlier version of android I was able to see my SD Card on my mac just fine. Short version of a long story is that someone reformatted it and haven't been able to connect it since. Even tried to reformat from within Android 2.2.1 but it still gives me "this card is unreadable" when I plug in the phone on my mac.

So, yesterday I finaly managed to install Market on it. One app that I really want to install is fruit ninja, but... it wasn't available at the Market. It was normal to me, as the store is out of date, otherwise it wouldn't be compatible. So, as the google play webpage already recognized my device, I tried to download from there... and it said the app wasn't compatible! Also, when I try to download fruit ninja from other websites, I actually manage to install it, but then won't open! what's the firmware that I need in order to have fruit ninja?

In my android application i want to load a gzip file along with my application into device. I tried placing it in /data/data/mypackage but its not getting loaded into the device. I also tried placing in raw folder but still not working. Is there any way that i can get this done?
