1. How can I use simple dialing number like 06589658455 instead of 065-896-58455 (don't want " - " sign)
2. How can I enable animation on main screen wallpaper (watched a video where some green color line was moving down, up, left & right) how can I do it??
3. Right now when I open "Menu" & all my apps are there, I have to scroll up & down to check my apps, is there any possibility that these apps can spread to left right (like main window) instead of up down?

Jul 26, 2013I am running Cyanogenmod 10.1.2 for the LG optimus 4x HD (LG-P880) and i would like to change the transparency for the status bar.
I know there are lots of threads for this, but every one ive tried seems to just crash my system UI. I would also like it if you could change the colour by app (i know paranoid android does this however, i have not found a stable build for the 4X.)
I am not very experienced at coding mumble jumble, however i do know how to build APK files etc..
Motorola Droid X :: Changing System Fonts
Oct 2, 2010I changed the default Droid Sans font with Helvetica Neue (which looks gorgeous by the way) and rebooted, worked perfectly. I then decided to change the bold version as well, rebooted, but now I'm stuck at the red Droid eye loading screen over and over again (not the Motorola logo). It just loads for a couple seconds then flashes then repeats. I'm 100% sure I didn't misspell anything and I still have the backups of the fonts in the system folder but how can I now boot into the phone without factory resetting it?

Oct 12, 2013Started to explore the matter of changing/adding fonts via settings/device/font style. From there you have to option to pick a pre-installed font or click below on "get fonts online". I can't seem to understand why none of the font packs will work. They install and populate in the font list under settings/device/font style however when ever you select one it tells you it's not compatible and continues to ask if you'd like to uninstall the font pack.

I have several fonts through an app 'Go Launcher Fonts'. It is no problem setting those fonts for Go SMS or Go Launcher, or for other apps that can scan the system for fonts.I want to put the fonts for another app to use, that apparently cannot scan for fonts.I can't find them. The ones installed through 'Go Launcher Fonts' is not in /system/fonts, and I can't find any of the fonts names via Astro. Is there a font collector app of some sort that can scan through all the fonts and tell you where they are? My phone is not rooted, running a standard HTC Desire HD / Android 2.3.

Aug 16, 2013I have a webpage that uses "Courier New" and "Source Code Pro" monospaced fonts. Unfortunately, simply copying these two truetype fonts to my /System/Fonts directory and rebooting isn't enough to fix the problem.
I need Android-specific html code in order for my webpage to be displayed properly on my Android web browser. If I'm right, I'm hoping the android-specific code wouldn't affect Windows desktop web browser viewing.
Below is my best attempt to make this work. But, my Android just laughed at me.
