today I used cw to load a screen rotation mod from Calkulin...Everything seemed fine after that so I tired to boot into clockwork again to do a backup and it brings up a screen with a green android and under that it says "Downloading... Do not shut off device" It just hangs on that screen until I reboot the phone!

how the alarm clock works. If u create an alarm, the informations must be saved somewhere and if u activate an alarm there must be an service in the background which look if the time is right and then send an intent to an activity ? This service have to run every time the phone is on.

I am trying to install Clock Work Manager on an "AllWinner A10 CPU Cortex A8 1GHz Android 2.3". I have installed Rom Manager and Rom Manager Premium but when I click the install ClockWork thing it sais "confirm your phone type" The phone type listed is "Android B1" After clicking Confirm it comes back and sais its an Unsupported Device at this time and asks if I have manually installed it. I purchased this Tablet on Amazon.

I would like to keep all of my saved tons and backups on my external SD card but CWM doesn't see or give me an option to backup or flash from external. When I first rooted the option was there but after I installed CWM ROM manager and had it flash to the newest version 5.8.4.7 it stopped giving external card options.

i have a velocity micro cruze t510 running eken a90 firmware nicely but i cant get cwm recovery to work i have flashed 3 different versions and all three have the same problem. emmc will not mount so im unable to back up. find a custom recovery for the t510

If I set my alarm then hit the power button to turn the screen off, or even just allow the screen to timeout and turn off, then the alarm fails to go off. This is REALLY annoying as it renders the entire alarm feature completely useless.
View 49 Replies View RelatedI got my moment about one month. I noticed the alarm clock sometime worked, sometime not. Especially set up run time over 5 or 6 hours. If it passed the setup time, the alarm clock didn't run, but the setup time still showed on the locked screen (before you unlock your phone). It should show the next run time, not the last run time. I use advanced task killer to kill everything before I go to bed. Is that related?

My wife's is working and shows our town, but mine just sits there blank with the town name saying no information is found.
I deleted the widget off the screen and readded it. I pulled the battery. Neither worked.
I have a Milestone, it is not rooted, with home++ and without any task killer app. The alarm clock (the default one) now seems to only works about 70% of times (it is correctly set to every day) It is a serious issue for me. Do you have any idea of why does this happen?

I have set the alarm and turned the phone off and the alarm clock does not come on at all.
got a few things im not sure how to fix or what im doing wrong. first off my alarm clock does not go off in the mornings for work. i set a alarm for a few mins ahead of the actual time to see if it works and it goes off. but the next morning nothing still. also both my emails do not refresh themselves anymore. i have to go in and refresh to see if i got any mail. Another thing is when i change my notification ringtone for my text messages it does not change to what i set. i go back in and it is still set to what i put it at but when i get a text its not what i set... does anyone have any ideas on any of this. im sure im doing something wrong but its driving me crazy

It's installed on my phone and when I press Bootstrap Recovery it says sucess but when I try to reboot into recovery nothing happens (my goal is to eventually install the ApeX rom) any suggestions?
View 6 Replies View RelatedProbably a very simple fix here, but I can't figure it out. I deleted a few roms off of my sd card to make room for the new warm 2.2 release and went to flash it. For some reason, when I'm in the boot screen, I select recovery, but it doesn't boot into the actual recovery mode anymore, it goes to another white screen which I think is the fastboot screen.

I also tried holding the x and power button down to reboot and it wont work either. It just shows the "M" for a long time then flashes "M" comes up again and in load like normal or it sometimes freezes and I have to take the battery out. just also tried to back up current rom and that doesnt work either.

Easiest method to have this recovery for a rooted phone is below.
1.Install mobile uncle tools from Play Store.
2. Place the recovery.img provided in root of SD card.( Rename the recovery file as simply RECOVERY.IMG)
3. open mobile uncle tools and flash the recovery.

I have moved those files to my computer and put the bugless beast nandroid files in their place. The problem is when I go to Droidroothelper and select reboot/recovery my phone reboots and the /! comes up on my screen and a line on the bottom says E: can't open /cache/recovery/command......
any tips I dont know what to do to load the nandroid backup of the bugless beast.
Is there a, possibly, a fullscreen clock widget that shows the clock and active alarms? Thanks.
