Ok so I know many are having battery issues. You, like me, probably have more battery life than you think. This is because the application layer of the phone is not receiving the hardware layer's data correctly (hold talk button, end call button, and middle button upon starting up your turned-off phone, this boots in test mode which shows you hardware layer battery power, aka the correct battery life estimate). It's causing another problem because some applications can't be run when the phone THINKS it's about to die.

Now I want to go back to CM10.1again but this darn thing will not boot at all. No matter what I do the phone takes me to CWM right after powering it up. This did not happen before when I first upgraded to CM10.1 a few months ago.What could possibly be going wrong now?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have updated my international HTC One X to CM10 ver(10-20121221 NIGHTLY). However, i find that the GPS doesn't pickup any satellites at all.
I went back to my stock ROM and found that the GPS was working fine. On reading some threads about similar problems, i tried downloading AGPS data but that too did not work. I also flashed a AGPS Fix for HTC One X ver3.1 but that too didn't work.
I want to change the icons on cm10 but without using a different launcher. I use Desktop Visualizer but it doesnt change the icon anywhere other than the homescreen. I actually just want to add my own icons into the apk while keeping the stock theme.

I have tried DirectoryBind but it seems to be not working on CM10.1 (it works on touchwiz perfectly)
Also I tried swapping memories (internal to external and vice versa) , it worked but installing apps from external sources will not work, or apps in /storage/emulated/0/... Will not be able to installed , but if they are on /storage/sdcard1 they will be able to be installed.. That still a problem ..
So any way of moving apps to SD on CM10.1 ?
I have a 16Gb Nook Tablet that I wiped a long time ago and put CM7 on it. It worked great. Then I put CM9 on it, and it worked great. Then I tried to put CM10 on it. So far, no matter what build I try for CM10.0 or CM10.1, it has the exact same result: After I do the final reboot, it starts to boot up, but gives up and just shuts down (screen goes black, and you have to turn on the device again). Sometimes the CM10 logo starts spinning before it turns off, sometimes it turns off before the spinning CM10 boot logo appears.
I've tried many different builds (only for the Nook Tablet), but they all behave the same (some from the official cyanogenmod web site, some from other xda-developer forum posts for the Nook Tablet).
So, I just flashed the CM10 nightly for the Samsung Epic 4g [URL] and I am stuck on the boot screen. I am on CWM 6.0.1.1....

Is it possible to call screen of cm10 or 10.1 can appear more like miui call screen? I mean transparent. The default caller screen of cm10 is not good. Caller photo almost covered by black screen. You can't see the photo. In miui the caller screen is fully transparent it looks damn nice. So is there any modified apk or any way to make it transparent? Other than using third party app.

I want to setup CM10 build environment on ubuntu. The only problem I have is I could not get 10GB bandwith to download CM10 source on the first repo sync.
Is it possible if I ask my friend to download it and copy it to DVD then I put it to my PC and will behave like as if I sync it online?
At present i am using Quarx CM9 nightly(10th July) and apex launcher.on my defy plus BL7.If i want to install CM 10 BY Quarx do i have to use a different kernel while flashing? Is this method OK?
